The entire eastern half of the U.S. Continent.
And that's just for NY City on sunny days with good wind
...and healthy Gerbils.
Actually, New York City , because of its more efficient urban design features, like being close to mass transit systems, less exurban sprawl, etc. uses energy with less waste then Phoenix , Miami , or any other large , overdeveloped Sun Belt city of comparable size and population density. So, New York's lesser energy needs means they'll pay less than someone living in the Sun Belt.

Everything is Beautiful

RAY STEVENS
"Everything Is Beautiful"
(Ray Stevens)
Jesus loves the little children
All the little children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in his sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world

Everything is beautiful
In its' own way
Like a starry summer night
Or a snow covered winter's day
Everybody's beautiful
In their own way
Under God's heaven
The world's gonna find a way

There is none so blind
That is he who will not see
We must not close our minds
We must let our thought be free
For every hour that passes by
You know the world
Gets a little bit older
It's time to realize
That beauty lies
In the eyes of the beholder

Everything is beautiful
In its' own way
Like a starry summer nights
Or a snow covered winter's day
Ah, sing it children
Everybody's beautiful
In their own way
Under God's heaven
The world's gonna find a way

We shouldn't care
About the length of his hair
Or the color of his skin
Don't worry about
what shows from without
but the love that lives within
We're gonna get it all together now
Everything gonna work out fine
Just take a little time
to look on the good side my friend
And straighten it out in your mind

Everything is beautiful
In its' own way
Like a starry summer nights
Or a snow covered winter's day
Ah, sing it children
Everybody's beautiful
In their own way
Under God's heaven
The world's gonna find a way

One more time
Everything is beautiful
In its' own way
Like a starry summer nights

<quoted text>All thanks to the Obama Administration. Republicans argued to slash funding to help American war veterans. In fact, republicans betrayed all of our U S veterans by defeating President Obama's Veterans with Disabilities Act."Forty Republican members of the United States Senate betrayed veterans today when they decided that denying President Obama a victory was more important than spending $1 billion to create jobs for vets.
The Veterans Job Corps Act of 2012 would have spent $1 billion over five years to put veterans to work tending to federal lands, and in the nation’s police and fire departments. Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) based her plan of FDR’s Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), but Republicans opposed the bill because they said there is no proof that it would work.
Republican Sen. Tom Coburn claimed that there is no evidence that jobs for vets will work,“What we have is a bill that’s brought to the floor that has good intentions behind but shows the absolute laziness of congress in terms of really digging things out. issued their duplication report on the job training programs for veterans, four of them do exactly the same thing. None of them have a metric. So we don’t know if they’re working, and we haven’t held a hearing to find out if they’re working. But what are we doing?”
It doesn’t matter to most Senate Republicans that the CCC put 2.5 million people to work. When confronted with an actual jobs program for America’s vets, including the 220,000 who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, the majority of Republicans claimed the plan, which was already offset, was too expensive. Maybe that's why he was cycling? To show support for the troops Obamna is bringing home.

<quoted text> Recycling per se seems like a no brainer good, but not if it still degrades the environment by polluting the Earth . Take[McDonough &Braungart in "Cradle to Cradle"] the authors’ analysis of recycling. Recycling is good, right? In fact, they say, it is often very, very bad. For example, recycling plastic bottles into that groovy fleece jacket means bringing toxic antimony into contact with your skin. Oops. Or how about being more efficient? We know that’s always good, don’t we? Um, actually, no:“Being less bad is not being good,” McDonough told the National Press Club last spring.“If you want to go to Mexico, and you’re driving toward Canada, even if you slow down you’re still going to Canada.” Better design and no growth must be part of the new metric too. A review of Cradle to Cradle URL:
http://grist.org/article/design/
No technology exists that will remove all energy footprints. Period. Start from there.

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed(First Law).

Lithium-Ion batteries are made from Aluminum and Lithium both of which are mined, purified and shipped across oceans and continents. The entire process from ground to your i-Pod is extremely energy-intensive. So, too, will be the recycling of the waste after its lifespan is expended.

This is but ONE example of many thousands. Solar Panels, the same thing - Silicon, Rare Earth Metals, Mining, purification, EOL disposal, etc...

Wind Turbines, Solar Installations and Tidal Generators cause environmental damage,.......

So when I hear about the Electric Cars, Solar, Slime Generators and the Magic Negro's vision for the future, I want to puke.

And if he stood before me, I would.
