Now you're just displaying amateur behavior.<quoted text>
Meaningless? So all stocks are bought and sold at the price they are at days end? Nuc, listen, we don't need any more proof that you're an idiot, so please stop.
We are talking about the way the stock market is tracked on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis basis. When you look at a chart of the DOW, NASDAQ, whatever, it displays the closing price each day, over time indicating the direction of the market. Not the intraday highs and lows, which are just the noise of the marketplace. DUH
The intraday values fluctuate, that's what makes the market work. I buy HD at opening bell, I make money. I buy it at noontime, I lose money. Capish??
As dictated by the rules of Capitalism, the market fluctuates on a minute to minute, hour to hour, day to day manner. DUH
You really don't understand the functioning of markets, so what's the point here??
You continue to display how little you understand about most everything, digging into minutiae in a vain attempt to redeem your obvious lack of knowledge.
Carry on, it's funny.
