Obama Scandal Number Four
(Reuters)- With the White House already reeling from three major controversies, some Republican lawmakers are zeroing in on what they perceive is another possible scandal tied to President Barack Obama's landmark health reform law just as it nears implementation.
On top of the troubles the administration is facing over its handling of the attack on the Benghazi mission, the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservative groups, and the Justice Department's seizure of Associated Press phone records, Republicans hope to target Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
They are questioning her soliciting of funds on behalf of a non-profit group, called Enroll America, from two private entities, a practice which if not unprecedented is at the very least unusual. Federal law bars officials from soliciting any organization or individual with whom they do business or regulate.
Enroll America is run by the president's former campaign backers to do something Congress refused to fund: sell "Obamacare" to the public.
An HHS statement last week said that since March Sebelius solicited financial donations for Enroll America from H&R Block Inc, the tax preparation company, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a philanthropic entity devoted to public health issues.
Did you see Carney this morning trying to equate this was birthers, etc. He had gotten away with such idiocy in the past but Garret held on to the bone.

All these SO CALLED scandals you rant on about are only in your mind. There are NONE, nothing on the IRS, Nothing on Benghazi, nothing on Weapons into Mexico you have come up blank on all of them. Not one can be pinned to the Administration or any cover ups.
Even his response to Oklahoma was lightspeed ahead of Bush on his response to Katrina. That gave the Al Queda boys good propaganda seeing a US President letting the less well off fend for themselves. It was all over TV worldwide for weeks. ppl couldn't believe it. So don't try and pin shame on Obama it's all over your face. Shame for Iraq, Shame for Wall St, Shame for any Republican policy that has paid dividends in the last 20 yrs. Its only cost the country trillion$
FEMA is a joke, totally useless as a first response agency.

Their only value is as a piggy bank to dispense money.

The last thing folks in Oklahoma need is that publicity hound from the White House interfering in their cleanup efforts. Unlike the slugs and looters in New Orleans, these folks can help themselves.

Also , the two tea party freshman Oklahoma congressmen who voted no! on Government emergency climate disaster funding for Hurricane Sandy victims because 'Government can't spend money that they don't have' are having to eat their words as destruction and deaths increase in the Oklahoma tornado climate disaster.

So, you're in favor of Bush 43 flying over New Orleans after Katrina struck to finish his long vacation in Texas and do nothing.

Which pole did you run it up?

What fantasy world are you Progressives living in?

The IG flatly states that the IRS targeted conservative groups and the woman that was in charge is taking the fifth.

59% of Americans think Obama did a lousy job in Benghazi and more could have been done.
More whistle blowers would like to come forward.
Four people died.

Harassing the press and invading their privacy is cool?

Obama's average polling data on the economy is -6.6

Let's ignore the seriousness and the ethics of all of this as Obama has a +0.7 average lead in the polls?

This being the Magic Negro's time in office, FEMA will probably try helping only those that the IRS has listed as being non-Conservatives. The rest can go to Hell. Tea Party members will not be given water.

He's got canned responses sitting on his cranial shelves. Don't like a post? Just reach for "There's no proof" and sling it out there.

His posts are not at all well though out but simple Liberal knee-jerk responses.

<quoted text>Yeah, prove it. Did I leave anyone out, Aunt Bettie Lou?
Oh ,yes, I almost left out the biggest no show President, Dwight D. Eisenhower. He never even ran the country for a day . Ike's top puppet master Sherman Adams made all the decisions for him. Eisenhower could have changed the White House address to his favorite golf course and no one would have noticed for all the time Ike spent on the back nine at Augusta(Probably, that's what broke Ike's heart) Let's see if we go further back in history; there's poor old self-made millionaire Hoover. Remember his 'Hoovervilles'? He could make a buck for himself ,but not a dime for the American people or the government. Cool Calvin Coolidge was better out of the White House fly-fishing and verbalizing the grammatically correct sentence; TRex was too busy with his horse to govern;Chester A Arthur favored eating ,adultery , and pedophilia then governing in that order; James Garfield was too busy getting shot to govern as President; We might have to go all the way back to Abe Lincoln to match Barack Obama's Presidential governing skills. But , we all know what happened to Honest Abe (the one Great Republican President) He was shot by a republican second-rate actor John Wilkes Booth.

And the march of progressive smart government goes on. How do I know this? Just yesterday President Obama and Senator John McCain met to discuss the final details of the new Immigration and Border Security Bill! BREAKING NEWS! from Senator Tom Carper sent to me in an e-mail:"... this evening my colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to support legislation that will make necessary changes to fix our broken immigration system. The Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act (S. 744), often called the "Gang of Eight" plan, now goes to the full Senate where my colleagues will continue to debate and refine this critical piece of legislation." And just last night. "Senate Judiciary Committee Approves Immigration Overhaul Bill
In a bipartisan vote of 13 to 5, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved a broad overhaul of the nationís immigration laws Tuesday evening, sending the legislation onto the floor, where the fight is expected to last through June." Check this out: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/22/us/politics...
