Published by the Council of Foreign Affairs:

When Obama was sworn into office in January 2009, he had already developed an activist vision of his foreign policy destiny. He would refurbish the United States' image abroad, especially in the Muslim world; end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan; offer an outstretched hand to Iran; "reset" relations with Russia as a step toward ridding the world of nuclear weapons; elicit Chinese cooperation on regional and global issues; and make peace in the Middle East.

His compromises have been interpreted as signs of weakness, and his inability to produce clean outcomes in short order taken as an indication of incompetence. His efforts to engage competing powers have seemed at times to come at the cost of ignoring traditional allies. Above all, his approach has caused some to question whether he has a strategy at all or merely responds to events.

Bill Clinton in 2008: Older voters would gravitate to Hillary Clinton because they're too wise to be fooled by Barack Obama's rhetoric.

Clinton underestimated the easily fooled.

Unfortunately, not all liberals can discern satire from reality.

It's why so many are so confused.

His views on foreign policy reeked of inexperience and grandiose naivety. His elitist idealism blurred any connection with reality and was both overreaching and simplistic in its very content.

It still astonishes me how so many fellow Americans could be so easily swayed and misled. Considering he won once and then again twice, the phrase "dumbed down" is the only thing that comes to mind.

When Iran endorsed his candidacy, red flags should have gone up everywhere. It's actually quite astonishing no one on the left even blinked.

Palin was the antithesis to elitism.

She spoke too plainly, perhaps, but no VP candidate has ever gotten the same kind of scrutinty she did. She was thrown to the wolves and muzzled by the McCain campaign.

You wouldn't have wanted to be in her shoes. No one would have.

Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure a lot of democrats wish they had voted for her instead in 2008. The Obama "Chicago style corruption" team ran her over like every other of Obama's opposition in his political career. The liberal media helped them.

Hillary was not the right person for the presidency either. But when you consider she was head and shoulders above Obama on any issue and level of experience, you can't help but wonder how Obama had a chance in Haiti of winning.

Suicidal America figuratively stood teetering on the building's edge while the world terrorism crowd below kept screaming "Jump! Jump!" and America jumped.

On the way down, those solid American appendages, the Tea Party, NRA and Patriots(Corrupt IRS Tag words) grabbed a window ledge and hung on by their fingernails.

At this moment, the Magic Negro is stomping and dancing back and forth on those fingertips while singing Al Green and reciting the Azan.

The reality of Obamacare, i.e. "train wreck coming", is bearing down on us. It's just been put on the back burner with the anticipation of what's coming next in the Benghazi coverup saga.

Democrats and Republicans alike are scurrying to repeal as much of the impending damage as possible.

Night, shining.

Liberal Media Dogs laid in wait to ambush her. Like Katie Couric and Charles Gibson, for example. I still recall that revealing interview that Gibson did with Palin that forever exposed his hateful azz toward Conservatives. It changed my perception of Liberal Media to more than a few shades darker. I wanted to smack his mouth a few times. I had never seen worse journalism than I did up until that night. It was a sham that the Magic Negro would be proud of.

Lets face it, she was way out of her depth. She had her foot in her mouth any time she was asked a in depth question and basically was only good at rhetoric. The $250K wardrobe didn't help either, McCain was dragged down by her and he was a decent guy but without any charisma. Obama has it in droves, so all he has to do is hop on a plane visit all his buds and he has ppl falling over themselves trying to get some of the action, a game of golf, shoot a few hoops etc. When Bush travelled to Europe or anywhere else he would be lucky to rent a golf buggy, no one wanted to seen with him. So thats the difference in a Prez doing his job, much like when Prince Harry comes to Washington. lol Bush was a PR disaster!

The transcript of that interview:
COURIC: You’ve cited Alaska’s proximity to Russia as part of your foreign-policy experience. What did you mean by that?
PALIN: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land — boundary that we have with — Canada.
COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.
PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They're in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia—
COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?
PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We — we do — it's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America. Where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to our state.
