Don't know about Neil, but if you mean Nate Silver, his current projection is that Republicans hold the House in 2014 and gain seats in the Senate, with an outside chance at control.
Why should taxpayers bail out the UAW pension fund?
Because saving the UAW pension fund also saved thousands of American tax payers jobs and retirement savings--but right they didn't earn those pensions by putting in 20 or so years of hard labor at U S auto plants ; did they? As for YOUR reading of Nate Silver's 'prediction that the GOP holds the House in 2014'and gain seats in Senate', you better read Nate more carefully because he also says that GOP gains are problematic ,and mostly hinge on whether or not they can continue to block Obama from achieving anything of his policies , like on immigration reform , gun control , and climate change/economics. In other words, how long do you think the Republicans can keep up the pretense of their smoke & mirrors dog&pony show trial 'Benghazi hearings before most Americans see through it as political subterfuge?

That sort of stuff is usually kept secret, having the names of the operatives and contractors made public kinda ruins their gig.

Of course it is. It came into existence January 2009. As did the Iraqi and Afghani wars. Nothing existed prior to January 2009. America was glorious; every person was thriving, gas prices were low, salaries and income were high, no stock bubbles, no unemployment just blue skies all the way.

Ayn Rand was an ugly woman, with sneaky eyes and a body riddled in hypocrisy. The male members of her family took turns diddling her which is why she had such a harsh out look and callous cold hearted care for the next person. Too bad you took her serious. You probably would have been a better person.

Remember Hillary's ad about who do you want answering the phone in the WH in the middle of the night?
Well, her entire ad is shown again but at the end a clip of Hillary is screaming "What difference, at this point, does it make??!!!"
Perfect.

It's about to come to a head one way or the other.

Boehner is demanding emails and all unclassified correspondance from the WH regarding Benghazi and its aftermath.

If you remember the events leading up to Watergate, it's very similar to the Nixon's tapes. His refusal to turn them over is what ultimately led to his resignation.

So far, the WH has refused to turn over this information. If there's nothing to hide, they will and we'll see where the story goes from there. If there is something to hide and the information isn't forthcoming, this story will go in a completely new direction.

More than two years after regulators confirmed widespread reports of abusive mortgage practices, the government is making only halting progress in fixing the problem according to homeowners, their attorneys, housing counselors and public officials. Itís not only a dilemma for the people caught in the foreclosure noose; itís also holding back a broader housing recovery and slowing the nationís economic recovery.

Put up or shut up. One of the things you do well is post sources for your information, you cut and paste and lost the info that agrees with you but you do supply sources. Sort of. Now list a source where the IRS targeted liberals who did not agree with Bush on his policies. Try huff puff, media matters, if your work at it you will be able to twist some lies to support your BS.

i can post it....again.

The liberal All Saints Church (Episcopal) of Pasadena, California, which was threatened with the loss of its tax-exempt status over an anti-war sermon delivered just days before the 2004 presidential election said Thursday it will contest an IRS order to turn over documents on the matter.

The dispute at the 3,500-member (including actor Bradley Whitford) church centers on a sermon titled "If Jesus Debated Senator Kerry and President Bush," delivered by a guest pastor. Though he did not endorse a candidate, the guest speaker said Jesus would condemn the Iraq war and Bush's doctrine of pre-emptive war.

The AP notes that under federal tax law, church officials can legally discuss politics, but to retain tax-exempt status, they cannot endorse candidates or parties.

The anti-war statements don't sound to me that a candidate or party was endorsed. It could stand to reason that if taken to heart, a condemnation of President Bush's Iraqi politics might have persuaded members to vote for John Kerry. But that was never said. There were plenty of other "minor" party candidates running, including some with far more virulent anti-Iraq war views than Kery. And, of course, the members were free to not vote at all.

Now- keeping in mind the prohibition against tax-exempt churches endorsing candidates or parties- compare what was said at All Saints vs. this admonition from the pastor of a 10,000-member, highly conservative megachurch in Ohio just before the 2004 election. The description is from an article in today's issue of the Toronto-based Globe and Mail newspaper:

In her book, Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism,(author Michelle Goldberg) describes a Sunday-morning service in Ohio before the 2004 American presidential election, where amid thundering music and strobe lights, a 10,000-member congregation listened to "how Jesus wanted them to save marriage from the hell-spawned forces of homosexuality on Nov. 2 ..."

The pastor warned of Christianity under siege and that secular democrats had invaded Ohio "going door to door, knocking on doors so we can continue to murder babies and further strip the church of its First Amendment rights through hate-crimes legislation," all of which he called "the annihilation of a civilization."

I don't recall reading about that church being challenged by the IRS. Do you?

With this administration, if it's not one thing, it's another.
"Place the blame where it rightfully belongs if you dare to be honest, dizzy Lou. I've always been baffled by Republicans' steadfast demands to weaken the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in its cradle. Their chief tactic: repeatedly trying to block President Obama's choice of former Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray - or anyone else - as its director unless Democrats agree to amend the Dodd-Frank provisions establishing it.

Yesterday, in a Senate Banking Committee exchange captured in this video (below), Sen. Elizabeth Warren took aim at that strange campaign, challenging various claims that the CFPB somehow has sinister powers beyond that of other financial regulators. It's five minutes of video worth watching. Warren, of course, is the former law professor who conceived the idea of a new consumer-protection agency and persuaded Obama to insist on its broad authority and independence.

Warren called Cordray "an open book," and questioned assertions made by the agency's foes, including the 43 Senate Republicans vowing yet again to block anyone from the post. Among their demands: that the single director be replaced by a commission, a form of governance typically more subject to political influence, and that the agency's funding be put under Congress' control - unlike that of other financial regulators.

"I think that the delay in getting him confirmed is bad for consumers, it's bad for small banks, it's bad for credit unions, it's bad for anyone trying to offer an honest product in an honest market," Warren said. "The American people deserve a Congress that worries less about helping big banks and more about helping regular people who have been cheated on mortgages, on credit cards, on student loans, on credit reports."

Obama, you may recall, bypassed the Senate after a similar filibuster in 2011. But with court challenges looming to his recess appointments, he's trying again now that the CFPB has a growing track record as a forceful but measured voice for consumer protection. Among its early achievements, www.ConsumerFinance.gov is now a place where individuals can go to register complaints against a credit-card issuer or a credit reporting agency and expect to get an actual response."Check this out: http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/consumer/E...

The Magic Negro is in the same form as the Menendez brothers.

And American Liberals are in the same form as the airhead juror.
