Jason Chaffetz Admits House GOP Cut Funding For Embassy Security:'You Have To Prioritize Things'
For the past two years, House Republicans have continued to deprioritize the security forces protecting State Department personnel around the world. In fiscal year 2011, lawmakers shaved $128 million off of the administration's request for embassy security funding. House Republicans drained off even more funds in fiscal year 2012 -- cutting back on the department's request by $331 million.

Son… Lamb testimony debunks your Liberal talking Point!!
Lamb was asked whether there was "any budget consideration and lack of budget" which played into the number of people assigned for security at the Benghazi consulate. Lamb's answer: "No.

Let us go through some of your 'facts'.
Aunt Bettie Lou wrote:
<quoted text>

FACT: An ambassasdor hasn't been killed abroad since the 1970s.[The U.S. ambassador to Cyprus under the Ford(R) administration, Davies was killed by sniper fire during a demonstration against American policy ...]
FACT: Someone gave the order to deny that embassy more security a month before the attack after repeated and urgent requests.[ Darrell Issa(R) voted to cut the State Department's embassy security budget.]
QUESTION: Who denied them that request and why?[Darrell Issa(R)
FACT: A 4 to 5 hour time span between the first attack that killed the ambassador and one American and the second attack that killed the other two Americans was time enough to save the second two Americans.[Auntie Lou say(R)
QUESTION: Who gave the order for the CIA to step down resulting in two more Americans' deaths and why?[In the estimation of more detached senior Pentagon officials, the team would not have been able to reach Benghazi in time ]
FACT: The information the WH received was changed from a terrorist attack to a spontaneous mob blamed on a video.[Wrong. The CIA admitted that they edited out a reference to terrorism in UN ambassador Susan Rice's talking points to protect U S sources in the ongoing investigation in Libya]
QUESTION: Who made that decision and why?[CIA]
QUESTION: Why was that lie continued in televised interview and at the victims' funerals and in front of the UN two weeks later?[It wasn't; all intelligence sources believed that there were connections to the Cairo riots set off by the 'video' and the hostility of the Benghazi attackers ]
QUESTION: What were the motives for perpetrating that lie?[Again, speculation isn't a lie--look it up.]
QUESTION: Why was the second in command on the ground, Hicks, who became the first in command after the attacks demoted by Hillary Clinton when he chose to come forward?[Hicks broke with State Department policy .'A State Department official said Mr. Hicks had been free to talk to Mr. Chaffetz, but that department policy required a department lawyer to be present during interviews for any Congressional investigation.'
QUESTION: Why would the former Secretary of State do that if there was nothing to hide?[The Secretary of State is responsible for State Department policy.]
None of these questions have been answered. Even after 8 months.
Yes, all the questions have been answered]The same conclusions were made as the first Congressional Report on Benghazi--some mistakes were made , but no evidence that there was ever a cover-up or attempt made to deceive the public or Congress. In other words, no 'smoking gun'. Check this out: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/09/us/politics...

I see nothing has changed here....

Bullshit. We don't need a platoon of Marines guarding the embassy in Helsinki. There were very ample funds available to increase security for Stevens. It seems decreasing Stevens' security was deliberate.
... hmmmmm....
Let's review:
Al Qaeda plans their attack in spring, 2012.
A Force Recon Marine unit is moved to Sigonella, Italy, for the specific purpose of responding specifically to a terrorist attack specifically on our embassy specifically in Italy.
Stevens' security is deliberately reduced in summer 2012.
Al Qaeda uses explosives and RPGs to attack the facility Stevens was killed in. However, when Al Qaeda comes to the room where Stevens is holed up, they don't use their explosives of RPGs to get to Stevens. They try to smoke him out of the room.
THE AL QAEDA PLAN WAS TO KIDNAP STEVENS, NOT KILL HIM.
The real-time video from a drone and from ground-based cameras was watched in several locations around the world. Assume that the video was being watched in the White House, also.
After the failed attempt to kidnap Stevens, Obama begins lying for two weeks covering up the Al Qaeda attack.

Connect the dots....
If the White House is conspiring with Al Qaeda, it won't be the first time a Democrat in the White House was found conspiring with the enemy of the United States. I reference Alger Hiss.
The lie Obama spewed for two weeks was most likely part of Al Qaeda's plan, and Obama was just doing his assigned function.
Hillary was assigned the function of reducinig Stevens' security to make it easier for Al Qaeda to kidnap Stevens.

Now, aiding and abetting the enemy during the battle:

Somebody in the White House ordered the AC-130 to hold fire while the targetted Al Qaeda mortars killed two Americans, while the White House watched.
Somebody in the White House ordered the Force Recon Marine unit in Sigonella to stand down.

Who gave those orders?
It obviously wasn't Obama. He was probably as involved in this as much as he was involved in the mission that killed bin Laden.... didn't have clue it was even happening.

Vallerie Jarrett.

The logical conclusion is the White House is conspiring with Al Qaeda.

Lamb was asked whether there was "any budget consideration and lack of budget" which played into the number of people assigned for security at the Benghazi consulate. Lamb's answer: "No.
Comparing FY 2011 actual funding versus the FY 2012 estimate, there appears to be a reduction in Worldwide Security Protection and Embassy Security, Construction and Maintenance. But that reduction does not account for additional funding in FY 2012 from Overseas Contingency Operations funds amounting to $236 million for Worldwide Security Protection (p. 63) and $33 million for Embassy Security, Construction and Maintenance (p. 467). As a result, total funds for Worldwide Security Protection for FY 2012 are estimated to be $94 million higher than in FY 2011, while Embassy Security, Construction and Maintenance is estimated to be $61 million less than FY 2011. Together, there is a net increase.
In terms of people, the budget justification reported that Worldwide Security Protection had slightly fewer positions budgeted (1,777 in FY 2011 versus 1,707 in FY 2012) and Embassy Security, Construction and Maintenance had the same number of positions budgeted (1,014 for both years).
In its budget request for FY 2013, the Administration requested significantly more funding for embassy security—mostly through the Overseas Contingency Operations budget—but retained the same number of positions, apparently on the assumption that security staffing was adequate. Regardless, that budget, even if approved in its entirety, would have entered into effect after the events in Libya.
It is tempting to look for a scapegoat for the tragic events in Libya. However, if one exists, the overall budget for embassy security is not it. Funding for that purpose has risen sharply over the past decade. Moreover, the State Department has considerable latitude in allocating security funds based on current events and intelligence on possible threats. Why that latitude was not applied in Libya deserves further scrutiny.

Numbers don't lie. And after all the Iraq war is over-right? didn't O'bama say that was going to save trillions?
