Barack Obama, our next President

Full story: Hampton Roads Daily Press

Does it seem coincidental that two of the Obama's biggest GMO supporters, Bill Gates and George Soros, purchased 900,000 and 500,000 shares of Monsanto stock? Monsanto's man in Washington is obama...

The Monsanto Protection Act, essentially both written by and benefiting Monsanto Corporation, has been signed into law by United States President Barack Obama.
The infamous Monsanto Corporation will benefit greatly from George Soros and Bill Gates directly from the bill, as obama essentially gives companies that deal with genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and genetically engineered (GE) seeds immunity to the federal courts, among other things.
The bill states that even if future research shows that GMOs or GE seeds cause significant health problems, cancer, etc, anything, that the federal courts no longer have any power to stop their spread, use, or sales.
don't you find it funny that Obama supported an amendment in a bill that was written in by a Republican? Roy Blunt to be exact.

and is that bill actually called the Monsanto Protection Act? or is that another FOX invention?

The Organic Consumers Association (OCA) today called for Republican Sen. Roy Blunt to resign immediately. Sen. Blunt has admitted working with Monsanto lobbyists to write the Farmer Assurance Provision, dubbed the Monsanto Protection Act, a rider that strips federal courts of their power to stop Monsanto from planting unproven, potentially dangerous genetically engineered crops. Without any hearings, the provision was slipped into the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act 2013, and recently signed into law by President Obama.

“Roy Blunt should resign in disgrace,” said OCA National Director Ronnie Cummins.“The Monsanto Protection Act is an unconstitutional violation of the separation of powers. Judicial review is an essential element of U.S. law, providing a critical and impartial check on government decisions that may negatively impact human health, the environment or livelihoods. Though wrapped in a ‘farmer-friendly’ package, this corporate welfare earmark is simply a biotech industry ploy to continue to sell GE seeds even when a court of law has found they were illegally approved by U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Aunt Bettie Lou, "He covered up the deaths of four Americans, one an ambassador, that was perpetrated by a coordinated al Qaeda attack .." Your hatred for a Black-American President is letting the FauxNews fake-conspiracy drool drown your brain. There was no cover-up or conspiracy by the Obama Administration , by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, U N Ambassador Susan Rice or C I A Director General Petraeus--'Benghazigate' is a phantasm of Republicans too afraid of their rabid, ignorant Tea Party political base who can't handle the truth because of their obsession with hating our President. "Congressional Republicans and conservative commentators alike have spent weeks wondering just who edited the now infamous talking points, accusing officials across the Obama administration of lying to cover-up the truth about Benghazi. Instead, what they have labeled a political decision to play down the role of al Qaeda by the Obama administration was actually a much more complicated process:

The officials said the first draft of the talking points had a reference to al Qaeda but it was removed by the Central Intelligence Agency, to protect sources and protect investigations, before the talking points were shared with the White House. No evidence has so far emerged that the White House interfered to tone down the public intelligence assessment, despite the attention the charge has received."..."This new reporting solidifies previous stories that tanked Republican theories of official cover-up. By firmly pointing to the CIA, the reports also clarify the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s statement on Nov. 19 that the “intelligence community” edited the talking points, not the White House and that the CIA had approved of the changes. Could it be the story hits too close to home and sheds a bad light on the liberal agenda of abortion?

There's no other reason I can think of.

It has become national news, but a segment of the population is still in the dark about this story. That's a tactic of propaganda.

The progagandists are just as guilty of not investigating and keeping silent about Benghazi.

The whistleblowers - the 3 survivors of Benghazi - are testifying this week. Their stories are probably not going to be good for this administration.

Sen. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md., took some early blame for the rider, including from the Center for Food Safety. "In this hidden backroom deal, Senator Mikulski turned her back on consumer, environmental, and farmer protection in favor of corporate welfare for GMO biotech companies such as Monsanto," CFS executive director Andrew Kimbrell said in a statement on March 20. "This abuse of power is not the kind of leadership the public has come to expect from Obama or (D)Senator Mikulski or the Democrat Majority in the Senate."

No Surprize, "Does it seem coincidental that two of the Obama's biggest GMO supporters, Bill Gates and George Soros, purchased 900,000 and 500,000 shares of Monsanto?," No; it looks like common practice of capitalist entrepreneurs --that's what they do--invest in companies that they think will be profitable for themselves and their shareholder partners. There is no evidence that Bill Gates and George Soros business ventures had anything to do with the Obama Administration or the FDA's policies-- Obama has pushed a recalcitrant Congress on passing GMO labeling laws and stronger protections for food industry 'whistleblowers'--those initiatives certainly did not please Monsanto and Big Agri-business;did it?

Corporatist Barack Obama signed the GMO bill, including the provision for Monsanato's poison, into law you idiot... HR 933 the provision dubbed the “Monsanto Protection Act.” It is Section 735 in the bill, the full text of which an uniformed idiot like yourself can be read here:

Fenris the Big Bad Wolf, "You will never, EVER find a liberal phag who can give a coherent answer to the question: "how can you support aborting innocent babies," Not exactly; you can find conservatives and liberals who can agree that you can not legislate morality without risks and dangers of destroying the social order. Haven't legal moralists learned the lesson of Prohibition?(trying to ban alcohol set off one of the largest crime waves in U S history) ; Remember the lesson of the drug wars?. When you try to keep people from doing something not good for them or what they think will give them pleasure they'll want to try it more than ever. The best way to limit abortions is to make it legal, safe, honestly advertise and describe accurately its invasive procedure.

One has to wonder how Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri benefited by sliding in that nasty little rider that puts Monsanto above the law? Not unlike Judas Iscariot, Blunt used his position to betray those who trusted him, but it appears that the senator got more than 30 pieces of silver.

As an elected official, Senator Blunt is obligated to promote the wishes of the people. All of them, not just the ones with money.

Let’s go down the rabbit hole and explore why Blunt might have done such a thing.

Monsanto has its home base in St. Louis, Missouri, and here we can begin to see the connection between Blunt and the evil company.

Just a cursory search shows financial ties of nearly $350,000. To name just a few direct links between Monsanto and Blunt, the following donation amounts are from the website Open Secrets...

Hang on – there are a couple MORE links between Blunt and Monsanto,(not to mention other special interest groups like Phillip Morris, Altria, and Kraft). In fact, Blunt has a long, sordid history of slipping bills in that help out the big spenders, a lover, and his sons....

This Monsanto rider isn’t the first time Blunt has tried to help out a big donor. In 2003, literally hours after he was named whip for the House Republicans, he attempted a less successful stealth legislation attached to the 475 page bill that created the DHS for his buddies at Phillip Morris.....

Given the above, it probably comes as no surprise that the watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) bestowed upon Blunt a spot in the second annual report on the most corrupt members of Congress back in 2006 and then again in 2010. You can read the 2010 report on Blunt’s special interest pandering HERE.

So, Blunt was the architect of all of this sneaky little rider, slipped into HR 933. This doesn’t mean that the other members of Congress who voted for it are not complicit, however. The fact that President Obama does not have line-item veto authority doesn’t let him off the hook either. By refusing to send the entire bill back to be redrafted, every person who voted for this is guilty, as is President Obama.
