The sequester was Obama's idea, he signed it so he could blame republicans with his doom and gloom speeches. It just backfired.

This is the same president who lied about a terrorist attack and the deaths of four Americans.

Are you starting to see a pattern here?

March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan again. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate killing four people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers.(I wonder if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name “David Foy.” This is the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what’s considered American soil.)

Total BS.

Obama and Clinton a sacrificed the Ambassador more than six months before the sequester took effect.

The real question is what they wanted to cover up by allowing the Ambassador to be murdered.

Probably weapons supply to Al Qaeda.

Thanks to Republicans beginning to appreciate the heritage of our Grand Old Party, it has become better known that Republicans in Congress supported the 1964 Civil Rights Act much more than did the Democrats. Indeed, the legislator most responsible for breaking the Democrat filibuster was a Republican senator, Everett Dirksen.

To keep that law safe from a future Democrat Congress, Republicans enshrined its precepts in Section 1 of the 14th Amendment. Another point of pride for the GOP is that Republicans voted unanimously for the 14th Amendment, while Democrats voted unanimously against it.

Andrew McCarthy, a former Federal prosecutor from the Southern District of Manhattan, this week called Obama's actions in the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi a "shocking dereliction of duty." McCarthy, who was the lead prosecutor in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, told the Daily Caller that he used the term specifically, "because dereliction of duty is an impeachable offense. But this is the most gross dereliction of duty under these circumstances from a commander in chief and his immediate subordinates that I ever remember seeing in my experience. And we haven't gotten an explanation — if there were coherent reasons why no action was taken."
McCarthy outlined the chronology of the siege, as it has "drip drip, drip," come out, adding that "even during the Clinton administration, they took this stuff seriously." The one thing we do know, "and this is what gets my old 'prosecutors antennae' up, is that they lied about the cause of the violence there. I mean, they serially lied."

"they serially lied..."
You mean the same Andrew C McCarthy, lame brain defender of McCarthyism, National Review columnist/GOP party hack, believer of every freak show conspiracy theorist crying that there's al-qaeda infiltrators in the Clinton State Department, the same McCarthy that's as much a fruitcake as Michelle Bachmann and the rest of her nutty Sharia-panic caucus? "This isn't the first time McCarthy has used the credibility he's earned as a former prosecutor to lend legitimacy to nutty accusations. In September of 2009, McCarthy alleged that "terrorist sympathizers" had "assumed positions throughout the Obama administration." By "terrorist sympathizers," McCarthy meant Obama administration lawyers who had represented Gitmo detainees or challenged Bush-era war on terror policies the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional. Many of these lawyers went on to defend policies like targeted killing and indefinite detention, but to McCarthy, they were all foot soldiers in a "Grand Jihad,"—the title of a book in which he argues that the Muslim Brotherhood and the American left have teamed up to destroy America. "What do health care reform and 'the Grand Jihad' have in common?" National Review's Kathryn Jean-Lopez asked McCarthy in a 2010 interview. "They both enjoy support of Islam and the left," McCarthy replied. "In this context, by 'Islam,' I mean the Islamist movement." Great Islamists in history: Hassan al-Banna, Sayyid Qutb, and Ted Kennedy." Andrew McCarthy's Defense of McCarthyism www.motherjones.com/mojo/2012/08/andrew-mccar... .. McCarthy still thinks former Weather Underground member William Ayers wrote Obama's autobiography.(Here's a link to a C-Span video of the event.) http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/FmrFe Sorry, Aunt Bettie Lou, Andrew McCarthy is hardly a credible source.

Then, Dirksen took his time about 'breaking the Democrat filibuster' because it was another long eight months before Congress even mustered a vote on a watered -down version of the 1964 Civil Rights Act that conceded to all the demands of the South Carolina racist Strom Thurmond's Southern Democrat caucus to keep segregation intact and bar African-Americans from voting. President Lyndon B. Johnson had to make a personal appearance before the Congress and make the greatest speech in his career to cajole them to pass the Civil Rights Acts in full."I speak tonight for the dignity of man and the destiny of democracy.

I urge every member of both parties—Americans of all religions and of all colors—from every section of this country—to join me in that cause.

At times history and fate meet at a single time in a single place to shape a turning point in man's unending search for freedom. So it was at Lexington and Concord. So it was a century ago at Appomattox. So it was last week in Selma, Alabama.

There is no Negro problem. There is no southern problem. There is no northern problem. There is only an American problem.

And we are met here tonight as Americans—not as Democrats or Republicans—we are met here as Americans to solve that problem.

This was the first nation in the history of the world to be founded with a purpose. The great phrases of that purpose still sound in every American heart, north and south: "All men are created equal" — "Government by consent of the governed" — "Give me liberty or give me death."…

Those words are a promise to every citizen that he shall share in the dignity of man. This dignity cannot be found in man's possessions. It cannot be found in his power or in his position. It really rests on his right to be treated as a man equal in opportunity to all others. It says that he shall share in freedom, he shall choose his leaders, educate his children, provide for his family according to his ability and his merits as a human being…."
