Barack Obama, our next President

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ... Full Story

<quoted text>What did we learn from today's Benghazi hearing? There is still no evidence of a deliberate cover-up by President Obama, Hillary Clinton, or other senior officials concerning what they knew about the attack and when." There was tragic incompetence, plainly, in the Obama Administration's handling of the Benghazi attacks, and even possibly some political calculation. It is a record that may well come to haunt Hillary Clinton, the first Secretary of State to lose an ambassador in the field in more than three decades, if she runs for president in 2016.
But the obvious Republican effort to turn this inquiry into the Democratic (Obama) version of the Iraq intelligence scandal that has tarred the GOP since the George W. Bush years -- led by that least-credible of champions, the almost-always-wrong Darrell Issa -- is just not going to amount to much. " Check this out: http://www.theatlantic.com/international/arch...
Incompetence, political calculation, and an inadvertent coverup are serious enough.

So, Hillary goes under the bus to protect Obama.

CNN has two lead stories, both tabloid fodder: the Arias trial and the Cleveland dungeon master. No coverage of the Benghazi hearings. And this is what you call news?

Why are US taxpayers giving money to a Canadian company?
Why are American taxpayers giving money to TransCanada , the company hoping to get permit licenses from our State Department to build the Keystone XL pipeline across hundreds of miles of fragile American wilderness , residential and commercial properties from the dirty tarsands located in a vast area of Indigenous territories, forests and wetlands of northern Alberta to American seaports on the Gulf of Mexico? Isn't it the reflex actions of a panicked people in a rush to find more and more expensive fossil fuel energy resources to feed an unworkable Ponzi-scheme capitalist model of development that continues to break down in ever more extreme cycles of recessions and burst asset bubbles ?

For what? I believe Hillary Clinton handled the entire Benghazi tragedy and its investigation in a far more professional manner than VP Cheney handled the Valerie Plame Wilson scandal. Cheney was pissed at her husband so he outed and placed in mortal danger a CIA station chief. Even an idiot bozo with a vindictive streak a mile long would never endanger one of our own agents to settle a personal score--oh, right Cheney and Bush W were the idiotic bozos.

WRONG!, bust-brain. "If the Keystone XL oil pipeline were approved today, residents in the six states along its route would not receive equal treatment from TransCanada, the company that wants to build the project.

The differences are particularly striking when it comes to tax revenue and environmental protection. States with stronger regulations have won protections for their citizens, while other states sometimes focused more on meeting TransCanada's needs.

In Kansas, for example, lawmakers gave TransCanada a 10-year tax exemption, which means the state won't receive any property tax revenue from the pipeline. Meanwhile, each of the other five states—Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas—would earn between $14 million and $63 million a year, according to U.S. State Department estimates."Check this out: http://www.hcn.org/articles/on-keystone-xl-ro...

When I said to another poster earlier it wasn't about an attack on an embassy and four dead Americans but, rather, the president lying about it...

Well, I take that back. It most definitely IS about the attack on that embassy and four dead Americans. And why we still have no answers as to why it happened and who is responsible for it happening after repeated requests for help were denied.

The president continuing to lie about was just salt being rubbed into an open wound.

The coverup was just as aggregious as the attack.

Holder needs to send them the one care package, ready-to-go, for the past three weeks or so, from Russia, with love.

And may they enjoy feasting their eyes upon the "glory of it".
