Thank you for clarifying. So the proper way to say it would be "you 'toe the line' by conforming to the bull perpetrated by the liberal propaganda"?
I'll be sure to remember that. Thanks again.
Oh, WTH, Aunt Batty, you can tow you load of crap anywhere you want to...your life choices are gonna' finish you off sooner than later. Oh, and, you lied again, "The segment will be remembered mostly for the response it elicited from the moderator, Candy Crowley. After Romney argued that “it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror,” Obama replied,“Get the transcript.” Crowley, hoping to settle the issue, affirmed,“He did in fact, sir”—that is, Obama did call it a terrorist attack. Sure enough, according to the White House transcript of the president’s Sept. 12 Rose Garden address on the attack, Obama said,“No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.”

Anyone that gets his talking points from Faux (like you) is in no way qualified to be president.

Leo again Wrong…The moderator in Tuesday night's presidential debate, after appearing to side with President Obama on the question of whether he called the Libya strike a terror attack from the start, conceded afterward that Mitt Romney was "right" on the broader point -- that the administration for days insisted it was a spontaneous act!!

Jimmy, "Who's your other hero? Mr. Rogers?" YES, how did you guess? http://i.huffpost.com/gen/908244/thumbs/o-MIS... In the wake of today's explosions at the Boston marathon, many parents are again struggling with how to explain tragic events to children. Sadly, we've grappled with this same question all too recently. After December's shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, we shared the following quote from The Mister Rogers Parenting Book which had gone viral and was particularly comforting.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me,'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping." 'Look For The Helpers': Quote From Mr. Rogers That We Really ...

Wrong.
The phrase "toe the line" is equivalent to "toe the mark," both of which mean to conform to a rule or a standard. The Oxford Dictionary of Word Histories (Oxford: Oxford Univ. Press, 2002; ed. by Glynnis Chantrell) says, "The idiom toe the line from an athletics analogy originated in the early 19th century" (514)."
Gee Whiz Leo, you are good for something, here and there, ain't cha? Here's what I found in the New World Dictionary of the American Language, Second College Edition, Tow the Line or Mark, To stand or crouch with the toes touching the starting line of a race. To follow orders, rules, doctrines etc. strictly.

NJraider1, "I also recall I told you all," there is no poll that can accurately say who will likely vote, & who will likely not vote." There was one New York Times poll analyst, Nate Silver's www.fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com that was perfectly consistent in showing that Obama had always commanded a winning margin to defeat Romney--Romney knew ,but refused to tell the bad news too early to his dwindling supporters. Nate Silver predicts Colbert-Busch still has a good chance to defeat Mark Sanford in South Carolina too. " South Carolina’s first district has been held by a Republican for over three decades, and Mitt Romney carried the district by 18 percentage points in 2012. But Mr. Sanford’s personal baggage — his 2009 excursion in Argentina with a woman who was not his wife, and a recent accusation of trespassing at his former wife’s home — is helping make the race competitive."

No, actually he didn't. He was soundly criticized for not doing so.
Common sense would dictate if Libya was so dangerous, our people should have had more security or been evacuated knowing how things were heating up.
Does that even register?
Carol, Carol, Carol.

Romney said that it took Obama 3 days to admit is was a terrorist attack.

The moderator said that was not true.

Obama told him to watch the video.

In some countries, the amount & type of security can be limited by that government.

The Embassy was a lot more secure than the "consulate" in Benghazi. To be secure, mot consulates are constructed with many safety & security features. At that time, we were just renting a building.

Here is an answer given by someone who used to be at numerous consulates. The question was "how many marines are there that typically provide security at consulates?"

his answer: "There are NO "soldiers" located at any US Embassy in the world with a role of security.

There are Marine Security Detachments with the largest being no more than 15 Marine Watch Standers and Detachment Commander. Forget what you've seen in Rules of Engagement or other fictional movies as these Marines are only responsible for the internal protection of Classified Documents and the INTERNAL integrity of the Embassy. They push the button that allows entry within the "skin" of the Embassy and through the last hard door. They do not check bags, they do not monitory the metal detector. This is all handled by a local contracted guard force, The size and capability of the Local Guard Force (LGF) is dependent on the country and the needs of the Embassy. For example when I was in "Country X" the LGF carried what looked like guns but they were only loaded with tear gas cartridges. The rest of the security is provided by host nation military / police forces. You have to understand the embarrassment an incident at a US Embassy would cause to the host nation. They do their best to protect all foreign embassies, not just the US.

The Marines and the LGF is totally administered by and reports to the head Diplomatic Security Officer at any given post. Think Sheriff who has a force of beat cops and detectives.

The only exception to this rule is the US Embassies in Iraq and Afghanistan that have a Quick Reaction Force of US (and other countries belonging to the coalition) on stand-by to provide assistance as required.
