Are you referring to Obamacare?
Yes seat belts are important, texting is bad; however, when you give the police more ways to harrass people, they will do it and once you give them that power, it's hard to take it back. Did you read that there's going to be a police hotline wherein people can call and say, "hey, my neighbor down the street is acting funny" and the police will go to the persons house? What a nightmare.
This was a Republican idea.
When I see people texting; it's more often than not a young mother in a big SUV with children in the back, I don't get why people have to be on phones all the time. You see it everywhere, children are being ignored at doctors offices, beaches, malls, stores, carwashes; the parents are texting or playing words with friends and their kids are running rampant. I can't imagine what the repercussions of these out of touch parents will be to the future.
Sure you can. It's called the Democrat party platform.

You always cease to amaze. I'll bet you're one of those famous "Wal-Mart Shoppers" we see pictures of all the time. You're the 250 pounder pushing a cart full of Doritos and Keystone Light, with pink hair, black expandex tights, and wearing a way too small T-shirt that says "Bargoyle" across the front.
The idea that all Walmart shoppers are poor is ridiculous.

Financially secure people do not reach that status by overpaying for brand-name goods that they can buy cheaper at Walmart.

Close the local Walmart and the employees are all on welfare.
If Walmart paid significantly higher wages and benefits, the current workers would be replaced by more qualified people.
And the standard of living of the poor in the community would be reduced by dramatically higher prices.
Where do these people get their economic ideas? Just like them idiots up in New York that thinks McDonald's should pay some one $20 an hour to push a picture on a register. This country is doomed from the inside.

Too bad if you are too hypocritical and ashamed of your Ayn Randism cult religion to agree that the biggest 'federal drones on the public till: American corporations. U S fossil Fuel corporations should have to equally suffer the pains of the sequestration too. "Nearly one-third of these profits were used to repurchase companies’ stock, which only serves to pad the pockets of senior executives and the largest shareholders. The big five oil companies are also sitting on $82 billion in cash reserves, according to reports from the Securities and Exchange Commission for each company. While making these huge profits, BP and Exxon are the culprits in ongoing major oil disasters that are affecting the Gulf Coast and Arkansas." " Big Oil argues that it needs these tax breaks for oil exploration and development. Yet the big five oil companies produced 2 percent less oil in the first quarter of 2013, according to their recent financial statements, compared to the same time last year. These companies each have several hundred idle offshore leases that could produce oil if they were to be developed, according to an analysis for Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA). Instead, these companies leave the leases undeveloped while sitting on billions of dollars of cash reserves."Check this out: http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/green/... It looks like Ayn Rand's maxim 'Greed is good' is ruining the country, making climate change worse, and destroying our children's future. Hedrick Smith makes a powerful argument that when American corporations shifted from 'stakeholder capitalism' that presupposed a shared democratic social contract to 'stock option capitalism' based on a infinite growth plutocracy ethos America declined as a democratic republic superpower. If you were trying to make a point, you failed.

If your point is that all tax loopholes and subsidies, including subsidies to business as well as individuals, should be eliminated, then Galt agrees.

Most federal government workers are useless. Essential workers like air traffic controllers should be privately funded by the air transportation industry.

Poor countries that operate these sweatshops for Walmart and other companies that off-shore jobs pay the lion's share of the operating costs for Walmart while Walmart keeps the bulk of the profit .

No one said politics wasn't a dirty game, it's not for the faint at heart. Anyone who decides to get in the game has to face the consequences, there are no more secrets anymore. That guy was a sleazeball and his wife had it in for him. Can't say I blame her.
Remember when the Bush's went after McCain? Calling his adopted daughter his brown love child? Exposed his wifes drug addiction?
Look at what the Mellon Scaife machine did to Bill Clinton? dogged him for years and years. Oddly enough Mellon Scaife himself was involved in a marital scandal, a tawdry affair at sleazy motels.
Remember how Hussein Obama forced his opponent out of the 2004 US Senate race with false accusations about sexual impropriety.

A roll of Bounty towels is the exact same product whether purchased in a convenience store or at a cheaper price at Walmart.

Conversely, some of the highest priced department stores in the country sell products made in Asian sweatshops.

Your argument defies all logic.

Republicans back to whining about cancer care cuts that they caused, but can not pass anything to change it. Republicans rather not be 'inconvenienced' by flight delays caused by the sequester then help cancer patients from dying. "As one of the sequester's unintended consequences, we're getting a map of who and what congressional Republicans give a damn about. Business travelers? My word, yes. Congress moved right away to keep furloughs from causing flight delays. Cancer patients on Medicare? Ehhhh ... I mean, sort of. Republicans care enough to complain a lot, but not like they cared about flight delays." Check this out: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/05/03/1206...
