Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) has an interesting take on a recent poll by Democratic Public Policy Polling that showed his approval rating imploding after his recent vote against expanded backround checks for gun purchases: It's probably right.
"Nothing like waking up to a poll saying you're the nation's least popular senator," Flake wrote on his Facebook page late Monday night. "Given the public's dim view of Congress in general, that probably puts me somewhere just below pond scum."
The poll by PPP concluded Flake is one of the least popular senators in America less than six months after his election, with only 32 percent approval and 51 percent disapproval among Arizona respondents. 52 percent said they were less likely to vote for him as a result of his vote against the Manchin-Toomey amendment, which enjoyed 70 percent backing in the same poll.
Flake, who is taking heat in the press for telling a constituent he supported background checks before voting against the measure, acknowledged that gun legislation was the likely cause of his apparently dismal polls numbers.
"Now, notwithstanding the polling firm's leftist bent, I would assume that my poll numbers have indeed taken a southerly turn since my vote against the Manchin-Toomey background check proposal," he said. "It was a popular amendment, and I voted against it."

What about "No Money Down" Mortgages? Were they required by the CRA?
The regulators charged with enforcing the CRA praised the lowering of down payments and even their elimination. They told banks that lending standards that exceeded that of regulators would be considered evidence of unfair lending. This effectively meant that no money down mortgages were required.
http://www.occ.gov/topics/compliance-bsa/cra/...
A Treasury Department study published in 2000 found that the CRA had successfully lowered down payments not just for CRA loans, but for all mortgages.
Explain the shift in loan to value away from the traditional lending requirement of 80%

Again, the regulators told banks that much higher LTVs was an appropriate way to meet the CRA obligations.
http://www.federalreserve.gov/Boarddocs/Speec...
Regulators instructed banks to consider alternatives to traditional credit histories because CRA targeted borrowers often lacked traditional credit histories. The banks were expected to become creative, to consider other indicators of reliability.
http://www.occ.treas.gov/index.html
Banks were expected by regulators to relax income requirements. Day labors and others often lack reportable income. Stated-income was a way of resolving the gap between actual income of borrowers and reported income.
http://www.occ.gov/topics/compliance-bsa/cra/...
Yes sometimes the down payment was lowered & sometimes the interest rate rate was lowered so some that could not quite afford the standard terms, could afford this lower rate. Banks were to use a portion of their profits in this manner in their communities. But when the reductions were made, the borrowers still had to show they could make those lower payments.

CRA loans were typically long term conventional mortgages.

Cheney worked Bush like a puppet and was the de facto POTUS from 2001 until 2009. Cheney was at the 2012 Republican convention in Tampa. Hah!
Tell us all again Eed how you volunteered for the draft.
"real time"
Fact:
Bush served in the US Military
Clinton did not serve in the US Military
I did volunteer for the draft, two years active duty, over 7 in the Army National Guard.
It would be my guess you are afucking coward and never served, just like your hero president nobama.
