That is not true. There are laws concerning late term abortions with consideration for the health of the pregnant woman that most liberals agree with.
A live infant and the care that should be provided to this living human being has NOTHING to do with the health of the woman.

The recession stated in the 4th quarter of 2007. Not two years after Democrats tok control of Congress.( there were never more that 50 Democrats in the Senate.)
Show me the legislation the Democrats passed that created this recession in 9 months???
The Housing market started to decline in 2006.
This was over 6 years of a Bush Administration with every department of the federal government run by Republicans.
This mess was primarily a Republican generated mess.
My God, Bush started with a balanced budget on a path to surpluses.
For heaven's sake, you really need to stop living in the past decade.

Go back to BEFORE the bursting of the U.S. housing bubble that peaked in 2006.

The roots of the crisis can be traced directly to affordable housing policies initiated by HUD in the mid 1990s and to massive risky loan purchases by government sponsored entities Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Who ran the show in the mid 1990s and encouraged HUD's risky loan purchases? Take a wild guess.

Applicants just out of school. Not those who have been working a few years.
Many jobs that require a college degree as a condition of employment require proof of that degree regardless of the age of the applicant. The only proof is an official transcript from the college.

For the first time since 2007 - before the recession - the US Treasury is planning to make a down payment on the federal debt. The budget deficit has been shrinking more than expected. Thanks to government spending cuts, and higher tax receipts The Treasury says it expects to pay off $35 billion of debt in the second quarter. That compares to an earlier forecast that it would have to borrow $103 billion. Usually this time of year is the best for government cash flow because annual tax returns flood into the Treasury in April. But the return to at least one quarter of debt paydown is a clear sign government spending cuts and tax increases have helped lower the deficit.

Critical thinking is reflective reasoning about beliefs and actions as a way of deciding whether a claim is always true, sometimes true, partly true or false.
You and those on your side of the fence just believe what the Obama Team Cheerleaders tell you is true, sometimes true, party true or false.
Critical thinking is disciplined thinking that is clear, rational, open-minded and informed by evidence.
The "informed by evidence" is the part that also stumps you and those on your side of the fence. Since the Cheerleaders don't inform you, you're not the least bit interested in the evidence.

<quoted text> No more unknown than Obama. In fact we know just about everything about Palin and still know almost nothing about Obama even 6 years later. Why is that, I wonder?
We knew Palin was a popular governor who took on the corruption in her own party and won.

That alone made her a heck of a lot more qualified than a junior Senator whose rise in politics was already questionable.

Obama won 2 times in the Illinois Senate - the first time by disqualifying his opponents petitions so he ran unopposed. The second time was because Axelrod made sure Obama's opponent's messy divorce was plastered all over the news and, therefore, Obama won again unopposed and didn't even win by a huge vote either time.

He won the Senate by another convenient "sex scandal" resulting in his opponent dropping out.

What a rather unlikely coincidence, huh?

Not true. Applicants frequently are asked for transcripts no matter how long they have been in the work force. They are also asked for a release of any records the police may have and a drug panel. This is very important for high level professionals and any occupation involving direct reactions with the public such as patient care.
Are you implying that the job of POTUS is at the same level of a as someone who stocks shelfs?
If a hospital hired a doctor who lacked a medical degree, no matter how competent and how many years he had practiced medicine, every malpractice lawsuit would be a slam dunk.

Same for attorneys, accountants, engineers, architects, etc.

Absolute proof is required as a condition of employment.

How many times do you hear that the government is massively in debt, and that there are only two options – either increase taxes, or cut government spending?

This story, which is repeated endlessly by policitians, economists and journalists is a fiction.

“I think that the responsibility that the Democrats had may rest more in resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress, or by me when I was President, to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.”– Former President Bill Clinton (D-AR), September 25, 2008

“Like a lot of my Democratic colleagues I was too slow to appreciate the recklessness of Fannie and Freddie. I defended their efforts to encourage affordable homeownership when in retrospect I should have heeded the concerns raised by their regulator in 2004. Frankly, I wish my Democratic colleagues would admit when it comes to Fannie and Freddie, we were wrong.”– Congressman Artur Davis (D-AL), September 30, 2008

Take President Clinton's and Congressman Davis' advise you people on the left and just admit you and your party were wrong once and for all.

The Obama FBI was alerted the Jihad activity of this family over two years ago. Concentrate! That is the issue.
It was the OBAMA administration that gave the younger brother permanent residence status on 9/11/12 -same day as the Benghazi attack. This happen after the family was on the TIDE list.
Go try to blame someone else for that.
However, I agree we need to tighten up our immigration policies. There are definitely undesirables that we are admitting.
No they weren't alerted of Jihad activity. Even noted reich-wing Grumpy Old Prick Peter King admits it. Every mistake ever made in your f8ckin' lifetime was clearly Obama's fault, huh? Fugetaboutit. http://www.google.com/url...
