What did Obama lead or govern again?
Pushed green energy in Texas, education, and expanded welfare with added faith based welfare.

My God, not green energy initiatives OMG OMG OMG

Not education - those socialist union f*cks.

Not welfare - taking from the rich & giving to the poor.

Funny how you right whiers no longer agree with any of those issues.

Yet here you are, praising Bush.

<quoted text> No, your post showed more people had jobs but more people stopped working. Get a clue and the economy is in the tank and sinking fast. More people working means nothing if more people are leaving the job market. Job growth is not keeping up with population growth. Which means more and more high school grads and college grads have no job to go to so they drop out of the job market. GOOD GRIEF!!!
I have news.

I was responding to one of your dumbass buddies who said fewer people were working. That is a lie.

More people working means more people working.

Period.

You get a GD clue.

More people working means that if you count the number of people with jobs, that number is higher than when it was counted previously.

You people are just dumber than sh*t.

If you want top talk participation rate or the number of people leaving the work force then wprd your GD posts that way.

Dave, It appears you have cherry picked charts that exclude certain individuals in the tally. The chart I provided is a total and much more accurate.
Now please explain how total number of people working and number of people participating in the work force would be totally different numbers. They are not.
You said fewer people, moron. not a lower participation rate.

Lets go baak to my example. Would you rather have 50% of $1000 or 45% of $1200.00

When you figure that out, you have your answer.

As a example, as more & more baby boomers retire, it causes the participation rate to drop.

Christie: Obama ‘Has Kept Every Promise He’s Made’ On Sandy Relief

"Listen, the President has kept every promise he's made," Christie said.“What I was saying at the time was, I was asked how the President was doing, I said, he’s doing a good job, he’s kept his word. And so everybody knows that I have about 95 percent level disagreement with Barack Obama on issues of principle and philosophy. But the fact is we have a job to do. 332 Obama vs 206 Romney.

Obama has won an overwhelming majority in the Electoral College, a majority of the popular vote and a majority of the nation’s states—including most of the country’s largest states and states in every major region of the republic: New England, the mid-Atlantic, the Great Lakes, the South, the Southwest, the Mountain West and the West. Winning all battle ground states but one.

Look, it's painful to watch your team get smashed. I get it, but this wasn't even close and taking 51% as the popular vote is a landslide(which you are rounding down because if memory serves me right it was 51.7% which would make it closer to 52% rounded up), because any way you slice it he won with millions more voting for him than everyone else.(you know, there was other people running in the election.) Romney got 47% of the vote (47%... where did I hear that number before....)

So landslide, by definition a crushing defeat. ideals completely rejected, theme not acceptable, no one wants what you are selling, Maybe next time, sorry I am just not that into you, we are just different people now with different paths and this isn't going to work out.

Armed insurrection? Is that like the occupy anyone else's anything stoopid gutter streeter theme song, that they sing awrl together while at their worship meetings of terrorizing others peoples anything?

Duhmmy.

Here-have another spoonful...
(quips from the WH correspondence dinner)

“You could buy an island and call it ‘Nobama’ for that money. Sheldon would have been better off offering me $100 million to drop out of the race,” Obama laughed.“I probably wouldn’t have taken it, but I’d have thought about it.”

As for how the past four years had aged him at 51, Obama joked,“I’m not the strapping young Muslim Socialist I used to be.”

The president had some self-deprecating moments, even looking ahead to who might succeed him in 2016, including Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

“I mean, the guy has not even finished a single term in the Senate and he thinks he’s ready to be president,” said Obama, a reference to his own Senate career.“Kids these days!”
----------
Really???

1995, Aug - Obama files paperwork to run for Palmer's Illinois Senate seat

1996, Jan - Obama has his four competitor petitions invalidated; he emerges as the only candidate

1996, Nov - Obama is elected to Illinois Senate, which is controlled by Republicans

1999 - Obama begins running for Congress

2000 - Obama loses his challenge for Congressional seat held by Rep. Bobby Rush

2001 - Obama receives legal services contract with Illinois firm owned by Robert Blackwell, Jr. A few months later, Obama writes a letter on Illinois Senate letterhead in support of a tourism grant for a different Blackwell company. The next day, "Obama's U.S. Senate campaign received a $1,000 donation from Blackwell... In the presidential race he is credited on Obama's website with committing to raise $100,000 to $200,000 for Obama's campaign."

Obama reported $98,158 income for providing legal services; $80,000 was from Blackwell's firm."Illinois ethics disclosure forms are designed to reveal possible financial conflicts by lawmakers... Obama did not specify that EKI provided him with the bulk of the private-sector compensation he received... he attached a multi-page list of all the law firm's clients, which included EKI among hundreds."

2002, Nov - Democrats usurp Republican control of the Illinois Senate

2003-2004 - Obama amasses his legislative record, serves as chair of the Health and Human Services Committee

2003 - Obama begins running for US Senate; the leading Democratic candidate will withdraw in 2004 due to a sex scandal that Obama's campaign urged the Chicago Tribune to report.

2003 - David Axelrod [begins having] camera crews virtually everything Obama has done in public." He uses this footage to create a five-minute Internet video for the 16 Jan. 2007 announcement that Obama is running for president....

and here we are, 2013....

on a personal note-Myself and the POTUS Duh A Vey, we're the same age, with in just a few months even (according to what records have been provide to use anyway).
I think I would have to give serious consideration before calling another fellow legislator a "kid", OR address any one older in public debates, with such sardonic tones, as were seen in teh debates of 2012.

And Peas- In 2006 Obama published the book, The Audacity of Hope, but imhumbleo Dreams of (the) Father is a much more interesting read.

Compared to the US, Russia has very few malcontents to monitor and much less of a language barrier yo overcome.

Chances are very good that the Tsarnaev's had been on Russia's watch list for a good number of years due to the family requesting asylum.

In a first, black voter turnout rate passes whites

America's blacks voted at a higher rate than other minority groups in 2012 and by most measures surpassed the white turnout for the first time, reflecting a deeply polarized presidential election in which blacks strongly supported Barack Obama while many whites stayed home.

Had people voted last November at the same rates they did in 2004, when black turnout was below its current historic levels, Republican Mitt Romney would have won narrowly, according to an analysis conducted for The Associated Press.

Census data and exit polling show that whites and blacks will remain the two largest racial groups of eligible voters for the next decade. Last year's heavy black turnout came despite concerns about the effect of new voter-identification laws on minority voting, outweighed by the desire to re-elect the first black president.
