All that after two years of a democrat controlled house and senate AND several warnings from Bush to congress that what they were doing with forcing banks to give loans to those who they knew couldn't pay them back was going to cause a total housing collapse. But the democrat controlled congress wouldn't listen because they knew better and didn't want to hurt anyones feelings by saying "no" to someone that works at McDonalds, yet wants to buy a $750K home in SF. So now here we are..... And you continue to insist on blaming Bush. But then again, I shouldn't be surprised. You are, after all, a liberal, and if there is anything the Blamer in chief has taught us all over these last 4+ years, it's that no matter what the facts, it's always someone elses (the republicans) fault.

Hey, you will NEVER hear that in your Liberal Media:

Talk about hypocrisy 101…this story has to be a perfect example of just that!

After you read about what democrat Gloria Platko had to say…you tell me what you think would have happened had it been a republican that did the same via the mainstream media and such…as well as her half-baked apology.

This is via GP:

Typical Liberal who sees everyone through the prism of skin color… how progressive… or more accurately… regressive! Also the typical Liberal apology is served—not sorry she said it—only sorry if she got caught offending people. Let me emphasize, she’s not sorry if her racist attitude offended people, only sorry she got caught offending people.

Mediaite reports the following:

Buena Vista Township Clerk Gloria Platko is resisting demands that she step down after another local official, Interim Township Manager Dexter Mitchell (a Democrat), taped a phone conversation in which Platko referred to Township Supervisor Dwayne Parker (also a Democrat) as “an arrogant n***er.”

The 63 year-old Democrat later apologized for the “slip of the tongue,” but shockingly insisted that her use of the slur doesn’t make her racist, because she has “eaten Thanksgiving dinner with black friends at their house.”

The recession starte 4th quarter of 20078.

Show me the legislation they passed in the first 9 months of 207 that created this recession.

List it or STFU

There was never any requirement that banks had to loan money to those who could not pay it back

I believe we must learn from history, not repeat it
I believe women deserve the same rights as men
I believe our sexual orientation is something we’re born with, not something we choose
I believe immigration is what has made this country great, not what will bring it down
I believe freedom for all means freedom for all
I believe we have the right to own guns, but our Second Amendment says “well regulated” for a reason
I believe in a living wage
I believe you don’t create wealth by giving rich people more money
I believe welfare helps the poor, it doesn’t punish the rich
I call myself a Conservative because:

I believe in science and God, they go together!

I believe corporations is made up of people with living wages.

I believe in equal rights, regardless of sexual orientation but REFUSE to pay for it. I already pay enough taxes.

I believe that too many Americans aren’t prepared in our Liberal schools and end up looking for a government handout,

I believe in NASA's own admission that climate change is Hoax, and the hacked emails confirm it is a Hoax.

I believe we must learn from history, not repeat it. That is why I reject socialism. Hitler was real history. Most of the works history is made to tyrants, dictators and Kings that killed, tortured, lied about and abused those that opposed him, similar to the Liberal left media today do with Republicans, Sarah Palin anyone?

I believe women deserve the same rights as men, but no tax payer paid contraceptive. They can afford $5 a month in Walmart.

I believe our sexual orientation is something we’re born with, not something we choose. But forcing NORMAL people to accept deviant behaviors is immoral. Forcing pastors to marry gays and Lesbian is a disrespect of their conscience. Gays and lesbians are not better than pastors consciences.

I believe LEGAL immigration is what has made this country great, but we still need a secure border. I KNOW many terrorist attacks by Muslims come from immigrants. Illegal Mexicans being caught smuggling drugs from Mexico.

I believe freedom for all means freedom for all and penalizing confiscating taxes is not economic freedom but working for others so they can have the benefits I do not have.

I believe we have the right to own guns, and our Second Amendment PROTECTS US exactly from the type of Liberals we have now in charge, who wants to control what we eat, drive, live in, go to, believe in, etc. And will punish us with jail time if we do not buy health insurance to subsidize the illegals free health care, abortion, sex change, contraceptives, AIDS for homosexual, free health care for Muslims, etc.

I believe in a living wage that allows the company that pays me to remain profitable and not go bankruptcy like the twinkies company.

I believe you don’t create wealth by giving rich people more money but by ALLOWING them to successes by getting the government and it taxes and regulations OUT OF THE WAY!!!

I believe welfare helps the poor, it doesn’t punish the rich but many in Welfare abuse the system and drive Mercedes's like the Boston marathon bombing.

I believe welfare creates parasites of the government while my great grandfather did not have welfare and worked his tail off to be successful.

Did my heart good yesterday to see former President George Bush honored and praised for his service to his country. It was long overdue.

President Obama recognized him as a man "who loves his country", who "takes his job seriously but doesn't take himself too seriously", a man with "a great sense of humor" and, most importantly, "a good man".

Obama knows what many of us aleady knew. George W. Bush IS a good man.

Obama also must appreciate what it feels like to be in a president's - namely GWB's - shoes.

But the last 15 seconds of Bush's speech defined him when he movingly got choked up between saying, "I will always believe America's best days lie ahead....God bless America."

God bless George W. Bush.
Bush was great!

It most hurt him to see the destruction Obama is inflicting on America.

So you lied in your earlier post.
If you want a faster recovery:
1) Call your buddy Republicans & tell them to put our country ahead of their party.
2) Next time, tell the people you elected not to f*k up our country to the extent it takes this long to bring it back.
You lied in your previous post and then continued through the next 50 posts. You are a very poor truth police as you have no clue what it means.

1) TELL the POTUS he is screwing up the economy with his policies and he has no credible plan to improve it
2) I agree that electing Obama was a very poor choice and his screw up is projected to take until 2020 to clean up. I have faith that with a GOOD leader- who knows what he is doing- it will take perhaps a little less time.
3)YOU made a bad choice and want to blame it on everyone else

The staggering irony of the Marketplace Fairness Act is that it is written by states craving more money and massive corporations like Wal-Mart who want to hurt small businesses that have become successfully competitive against big retailers online. And in selling the Marketplace Fairness Act, these big businesses and governments have hired lobbyists to claim the law actually benefits small businesses. But the backers are a whose who of major corporations who have a history of using their connections in government to hurt small businesses that have figured out how to successfully compete against big businesses.

Even more shameful, these big businesses and state governments have been pouring money into conservative outfits and right-of-center lobbying outfits to try to convince conservatives that tapping a massive new revenue stream for states to balance budgets is somehow a conservative milestone.

Some of those supporting the Marketplace Fairness Act are good people with good intentions who believe the law is noble in purpose and buy the spin. But many are bought and paid for by the major corporations who have for too long rigged the system to their advantage by shutting out entrepreneurial competitors through the tax code and other laws.

Republicans who vote for the Marketplace Fairness Act, including Mike Enzi, should be, metaphorically speaking because it’d otherwise be illegal, flogged.
