I'm betting Native Americans wished they said the same thing in 1492.

should we have shut down immigration in 1941 to Germans, Italians, Romanians, Japanese, Croats etc.

Nothing like stereotyping and blaming everyone of one religion for the action of a minority of extremists

but since you are okay with that, what about the actions of those christian extremists tat bomb clinics, assassinate doctors in church and protest the funerals of our fallen soldiers....

should we jail all christians that wear crosses, rosary beads and ban the immigration of all christians???

I don't have to cite it. I was watching it. Had on FOX, CNN, and HLN. John King came on all stumbling over himself trying to give the impression he's not racist before saying 'dark skinned individual'. If the circumstances weren't so serious it would have been funny. He really had a hard time spitting out 'dark skinned individual'.

Lots of people are Googling first lady Michelle Obama's name right now because if you typed "Michelle Obama" into Google.com 10 days ago, an offensive photo of Michelle Obama with her face morphed to looked like a monkey appeared in the Google.com search engine results where it says "Image results for Michelle Obama."

Update: The offensive photo of Michelle Obama has been removed by the website that hosted it -- and the original website that hosted the offensive pic of the first lady reportedly contained malware.

Search Engine Roundtable first reported the offensive pic of Michelle Obama, and while one post says they're glad Google took it down from the search-engine results -- another section says that they gave Google a hard time for removing the removing the Michelle Obama result.

This is because Google claims it in its policies that they don't remove offensive pics.

Anyway, if you do a search of Michelle Obama in Google Images, you'll see the offensive pic is still there, along with Google's explanation of why it is there.

However, Google has the power to remove any photos it wants from its search engine's image results and search engine pages.

I think you're right on this, but it doesn't mean that he is a racist, just didn't want to offend anyone if it turned out to not be true. It wasn't personal, it was reporting what he thought to be the case.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) each said Monday that the Boston Marathon bombings should not scuttle efforts to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
"If we fix our immigration system, it may actually help us understand who all is here, why they're here and what legal status they have," Boehner said on Fox News.
Appearing at a church with Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) in Chicago, Ryan argued that the Boston attacks should push Congress to redouble its efforts to modernize the immigration system.
"We have a broken immigration system, and if anything, what we see in Boston is that we have to fix and modernize our immigration system for lots of reasons," Ryan said. "National security reasons, economic security reasons. For all those reasons, we need to fix our broken immigration system."
Boehner's and Ryan's comments put them out of step with several Republican colleagues who have publicly declared that the Boston attacks highlight the need to be cautious about or even slow down immigration reform efforts.

so you saw it and i just take your word for it?

you're setting a precedent you won't much like.

but anyway....

“A physical description was given to me of the suspect, Wolf. I want to be very careful here because this is very sensitive information, but the description given to me is a dark-skinned individual,” King said.“And I want to just stop there. A further description were given by this source, but it was a background conversation. They’re not willing to discuss it on the record right now, given the sensitivity when you get into these things. You heard Gov. Patrick saying yesterday it’s so important that the people of Massachusetts and the country for that matter in his words turn to each other and not against each other. It was described to me as a dark-skinned male individual that is shown in the video. There was some further descriptions used, but just for sensitivity purposes until we get more information, I think it’s best to stop there.”

"No, it was an honest mistake," O'Reilly agreed. "Absolutely an honest mistake." He went on to suggest that John King should have "outed" the source who gave him inaccurate information.

Yeah, they overlooked the importance and clarity of the cameras. Tamerlan's wife learned that he was a suspect from TV. Shocking as she was working while he was supposed to be babysitting the toddler__Oh my.

She was some sort of in home care giver who worked six and even seven day's per week__someone said 60 hours plus. I guess we'll learn in time what, if anything, he did.

Her dad is an emergency room doctor and she's supposed to be half Italian and half Portuguese (what a stupid description) but Russell is neither of those nationalities.

CNN is still in Boston and they still don't know sht.

Bill O'Reilly Defends CNN's 'Honest Mistake'(VIDEO)
Bill O'Reilly defended CNN on Monday against the torrent of criticism the network has received for its reporting error last week.
CNN and other outlets were forced to walk back their reporting on Wednesday after saying that a suspect had been taken into custody, when in fact, no arrest had been made.
On Monday night, O'Reilly asked Fox News contributor Bernie Goldberg if CNN deserved all the criticism it was getting. He referenced David Carr's column criticizing the network's coverage, and pointed out that Fox News, the Boston Globe and the Associated Press had also made the same mistake.
Goldberg acknowledged that covering breaking news "is not easy," and argued that CNN deserves "to take a hit, but only up to a point."
The contributor continued, "Not one reporter at CNN or Fox or any place else concocted these supposed facts. Not one reporter made stuff up in order to be a hero and get on the air with an exclusive."
"No, it was an honest mistake," O'Reilly agreed. "Absolutely an honest mistake." He went on to suggest that John King should have "outed" the source who gave him inaccurate information.

FOX, the defender of 'honest mistakes'.
So what exactly is your point? You don't think liberal-leaning networks have never made a mistake in the heat of breaking news?

Do you remember CBS calling the presidential election wrongly in 2000?

Talk about embarrassing.

Discredited Terror ‘Expert’ Responsible for Fox’s Dubious Analysis of Boston Attacks (VIDEO)

In a week where much of the media was discredited for its abysmal reporting on the Boston bombing story, it’s now being noticed that a “terror expert” that Fox News resorted to for much of their analysis was a highly discredited pundit who has a history of smearing Muslims.

Emerson, a self-proclaimed “expert” on Islamic extremism, has a history of distorting facts, going back to his blundering analysis of the Oklahoma City bombings in 1995, where he expressed certainty that the attacks were the work of Islamic extremists, drawing dubious comparisons that he claimed were telltale signs of jihadists.

On April 16th, one day after the attacks in Boston, Emerson appeared on C-SPAN citing “classified information” that he claimed stated a “Saudi National” was fingered as a suspect because he had “the burns on his skin” that matched “the explosive residue of the bomb that exploded.”

Emerson was forced to later recant the reckless and farcical claims. But even in the wake of this, Fox News continued to host Emerson, and on April 17 he appeared on Fox’s Hannity where he invented the conspiracy theory that the same Saudi student he earlier fingered as a suspect was going to be deported “on national security grounds.”

Immediately, fringe conspiracy “news” sites like Alex Jones’ Infowars.com , World Net Daily, and others latched onto Emerson’s report to offer it as proof of the Obama administration’s intent “to cover up a possible Saudi connection to the Boston attack.”

so i wonder how many Saudis have white skin.
