Barack Obama, our next President

Joe is a big disappointment to me. He was the only reason I used to watch MSNBC. He used to be the only voice of reason but the propaganda eventually got to him too apparently. Or job security. Or both.
Trust no one. I think that it is a human fault that we seek heroes in our daily life only to become disappointed down the road. A mature reality is one that accepts the fragility of human weaknesses while admiring the strengths without indulging in hero worship.

You claimed Obama killed the border guard. You were implying that since a gun that were lost through Fast & Furious was used by one of the drug dealers in that shootout, that it was Obama's fault.
For that to be valid, then you would have to assume that without this fast & Furious gun, that the shooters would no be armed at all. Otherwise the border agent would have been shot by a gun obtained elsewhere.
Huh?

I told everyone years ago it was going to take 10 years to overcome the Bush years, we're not even half way out of the woods yet.
Okay, Homer...you really need to let go of the past now and move on.

Otherwise, we'll have to start blaming presidents as far back as President Grover.

This president has had four years to do a heck of a lot better than where we are.

But Obamacare was his first priority. Look where THAT'S gotten us.

Maybe it will take a radical far rightwing president to dismiss the other half of the country and call them the "enemy" before the left gets it.

I'd be against that president too.

The world is rid of Saddam and his two raping and torturing children sons.
The WMDs are now in Syria. Or did Syria suddenly just develop these weapons on their own? If so, where did they get the materials?
The world provided Saddam with these materials when he was once considered an ally with the intended purpose that they were being used for medical research.
So where did Syria get them?
Syria had WMD's before Iraq did you mullet, that's been explained to you a hundred times already and you've been linked to the proof. You know dik about the middle East or how government(s) work and get crazier with each post.

You hope our nation fails because you hate the black man in the white house. I told you back around post 22,000 that this thread would make you nuts.

Obama should go back to being a good community organizer. He does have a side to him that is charming and convincing when it comes to just acting like a nice guy.

But he has too many skeletons in his closet - and some are still alive and kicking - to be the leader of this nation.

Now teachers are just teaching a test. Which is not good.
I'm opposed to everything Obama believes and stands for. Everything you can possibly think of.
History will not be kind to us for being so easily swayed.

No one wants to rally around a president in a crisis more than me.

I was moved to tears when President Clinton came to Florida after massive destruction of three tornadoes touched down in one localized area.

I even felt a kindred spirit with him when he toured the world with GHW Bush after the tsunami in Thailand to raise money.

If he had just been able to keep his you-know-what in his pants in the Oval Office and hadn't been such a 'bubba', I would have considered him a good president all things considered.

What we have now is not even anything similar to a Clinton - either Bill or Hillary. We have someone who simply doesn't get Americans.

In fact, I wish more than anything Hillary had won.

And I'm just supposed to take your word for it? How come Syria wasn't even on the radar by the UN during the Saddam WMD crisis?

Was it okay Syria had WMDs then?

Darn, have to agree with you. The Saudi's should not have been allowed to leave until questioned.
Though I must say you once again prove your self to be a hypocrite. When Bush let Saudi's leave you had a fit, when president nobama does so you do not question his motives.
Be Honest.

It's why Republicans are the party who who hold their own accountable.

No president or elected official should ever be elevated to "hero" status. Very dangerous.

If we invested half the money we spend towards Planned Parenthood on public service announcements educating women about the reality of abortion as a consequence instead of a form of birth control and designed a curriculum in the public schools showing an actual abortion with even more education about the reality of unprotected sex, there would be a whole different taboo brought on by public pressure concerning abortions.

If the PC police focused on this issue as much as smoking, think of how society's opinion would change when it comes to abortion being just as taboo.

Until the issue of abortion is a states' rights issue, it will always be a plague on our nation.

Why do you post racial slurs?
Why do you choose to continue your racist ways like a drowning man clinging to a floating whale turd?

From what I've read, the president gave a very gracious and heartfelt speech at the interfaith service today.

Still, I'm more moved by the solidarity of Americans singing the "Star Spangled Banner" at that hockey game.

Sometimes I'm not sure if this president even knows all the words. He certainly didn't care enough to hold his hand over his heart during the playing of it in 2008.

Guess his handlers forgot to tell him that's what patriotic Americans do - especially presidential wannabes. Even Hillary knew that.

Can anyone really blame my cynicism?

Why do you assume these Saudis knew anything or had any information whatsoever about the 9/11 attack?

Just because they were Saudis? Not a good enough reason.
