REMINGTON GUNS

It looks as if we now know where Remington stands when it comes to the government versus the people. After implementing some of the most restrictive guns laws in the country, many companies vowed to boycott the state of New York. Instead of following the trend, Remington instead announced that they will not only stay in New York, but also expand their operation by $20 million. Why you ask are they expanding? They have been awarded a $80 million contract for government sniper rifles.

The news came out from New York Congressman Richard Hanna regarding the contract. According to his website:

UTICA, N.Y.Ė U.S. Representative Richard Hanna today announced that Remington Arms has been awarded a nearly $80 million contract to produce more than 5,000 sniper rifles for the U.S. military. The work will be done in Ilion by Mohawk Valley employees.

The federal contract comes from the Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), a division of the U.S. Department of Defense. The contract will be awarded over the course of 10 years.

WILL NEVER BUY ANY MORE PRODUCTS FROM REMINGTON!!!!!!!!!!

<quoted text>Sad, just sad...Did you actually think that I would let this lie stand.
In fact, the right to marriage is a fundamental right guaranteed in our constitution, under the 14th Amendment. The problem that you gays have is this, marriage is defined as being between a man and a woman. So, anything you wish outside of that ceases to be a marriage.
2004? Skip and laugh.
Marriage has always been defined as being between a man and a woman. What happened in 1996 was that some gays wanted to get married in Hawaii? The issue came up in Hawaii, and the issue became this, if gays were allowed to marry the same sex in Hawaii, then all of the other states would be forced to recognize their marriages.
Consequently, Bill Clinton signed DOMA and over 855 of the house and senate voted for it and that was to define marriage as being between a man and a woman and also that no state need recognize anything different.
In 2002, California put on the ballot the definition of marriage as man and a woman. However gays such as mayor Gavin Newsome ignored the law and started marrying. A challenge was made and in May 2008, the California Supreme Court ruled that the ban on gays having same sex marriages violated the CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION. The CSSC was supposed to, under California initiative law, stay the decision until not enough votes were obtained or until the vote was held in Nov. So, California put a constitutional ballot initiative up to vote on Nov. 4, 2008, not to define marriage as being between a man and a woman, but to put that language, which was already there, into the constitution.
So, in 2009, when it went back to the CSSC they were forced to interpret the constitution under Prop 8. As it sits in this nation, 33 states have amendments to their constitution which define marriage as only between a man and a woman, which is inherent in the definition.
The "between one man and one woman," unfortunately for you, has never been part of the Fourteenth Amendment, Loser. Gay Karl Rove used the issue to help reelect the idiot chickenhawk in 2004, but it doesn't put it into law. Furthermore, even your bought-and-paid-for Scalia states that the Second Amendment does not grant an unregulated blank check for gun ownership...whenever you walking dead Gormless Old Pervs get that passed, I intend to demand my RPG launcher and a dirty bomb. GFY some more.
"Currently, the United States is embroiled in a debate over whether there should be an amendment to the Constitution that would define marriage as the legal union between a man and a woman. This debate is a direct result of the decision by some state courts that homosexuals cannot be denied the benefits and recognition of a legal marriage.

President Bush has publicly stated that he supports such an amendment.

In 1996, President Clinton signed the Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage to be a "legal union between one man and one woman." Many other political leaders, Republicans and Democrats alike, have aligned themselves with both Presidents Bush and Clinton.

Several religious institutions, most recently the Catholic Church, have formally renounced the idea of same-sex marriage, referring to religious texts that define marriage as solely the union of a man and woman.

Supporters of gay marriage stress, though, that not only are they seeking to protect civil liberties (often citing the 14th Amendment), they are also seeking to protect their families; over a million children nationwide are currently in the care of homosexual parents.

The way the laws are currently written, gay parents in times of crisis (such as when a child is seriously sick or injured and must be hospitalized) are not afforded the same rights as married (or legally divorced) parents.

I don't see them as being funded by TAXPAYERS; even those on Medicare or Medicaid have statistically paid into the programs through payroll taxes. I'm talking about the private insurance system which prior to 2003 at least, predominately paid not only for Viagra but also penile implants and pumps, etc., while denying women birth control pills (which cost ever so much less). Some of the Cadillac plans, prior to ACA, such as your Congressman's, still do.

Guns must first be registered before confiscation can occur.
Background checks = registration.

Mike Martinez, the current Place 2 Austin City Council member who may become the next mayor, has publicly demonstrated his contempt for the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights.

In the video below, he promises to make gun confiscation -- the ultimate and invariable result of registering and outlawing guns -- a reality in Austin. http://www.infowars.com/democrat-offi ...

The Federal Air Marshall Service predates 9/11 it was actually started back in the sixties and expanded over time. I know an Air Marshall who has over twenty years service. There were only 33 Air Marshall's on duty the morning of 9/11, in the entire nation. It was business as usual that morning, no one on the front lines had a fkn clue that danger might be lurking, no one was giving the extra that might have made a difference.

As I said it's all in the 9/11 report

The hijackers probably couldn't believe how easy it was.

Why don't you just do your part for humanity and die already, Harmy? "Well, according to the Tax Policy Center, the "average" tax rate for the top 0.1%(those making more than $2,178,886) is 19.8%. Under those circumstances I would certainly say that Obama's 18.4% is "fair". What isn't fair is allowing someone with a gross income of say $20 million to adjust it down to $2,178,886 through loopholes and tax shelters that offer tax-favored capital gains and dividends. Heck, Warren Buffet only paid an 11 percent tax rate in 2010....less than someone with an income of $59,000. Now, THAT is not "fair".

Proofread a little more closely before you cough up the "word" from Oxy-pedophile Rush and the rest of the Greedy Old Prevaricators' Playbook. Did you celebrate the Tennessee congressman who wanted to cut the $189 welfare checks to families whose kids were not doing well in school? He also stated in an interview that the AIDS epidemic was started by some African who f8cked a monkey and then started having sex with other men, btw, so think it over a bit. If democrats made poor people poorer, they wouldn't have beaten Rethuglicans by as much as 93% among young people, blacks, Hispanics, and gays...
