How Richard Nixon undermined a peace treaty that that would have ended the Vietnam war in 1968 in order to win an election.

Costing the lies of 20,000 soldiers

Nevermind
Gorum (pronounced GOR-um)[1] is a god of battle above all other pursuits; it is said that if there is ever a time with no more conflicts to be fought, he would rust away into nothingness. Known as the Lord in Iron, his faithful believe he is present in every iron weapon of war that is forged.

Wow, just after the (R's) had finally come to their senses and accepted 11 million illegals, yesterday someone upped it to 11.5 million and today Rand Paul went to 12 million so I guess we'll be back a freds and DB's 30 million by the end of the week.

So out rolls Rubio with the same__very same__spiel that Mel Martinez offered way back when__right before BushCo told him to pack his sht and head back South.

Folks__I don't want to learn about immigration, legal or otherwise from a Cuban. That would be like learning about Islam from a Jew__just sayin.

<quoted text>LMAO! Thanks for the inspiration. A feral dog just wandered onto the farm and he is very friendly. I think I will name him "Gayzo". His tail is unusually short but he knows how to keep the other dogs out of his dish because he bitches a lot and whines. LOL
Wait.. let me get this straight... you've got a feral dog there that's friendly? Well... how do you know he's feral then? Is he wearing a tag? Do you have a bowl with his name on it in the kitchen? Does it match the one on his tag? How long have you lived alone?

Yes, it was LBJ's war. But he was ending it.(see how I can openly blame Kennedy & LBJ & Eisenhower for the Vietnam disaster.)

Nixon sabotaged the treaty to up his odds of winning.

I'm sensing your skin is a little thinker than most rightwingers as denoted by your thoughtful response and by not lashing out in anger at my potentially insensitive comment.
"Rightwinger" eh? Haven't been called that in a while. I'm much more accustomed to 'leftist broad','liberal lesbian', the ever-popular 'whack-a-loon feminazi', and variations of all of the above. I assume it's because I'm in favor of retaining the ownership of my uterus, and don't believe that marriage should be withheld from all but one group of consenting adults. Also, that I'm not in favor of oligarchy, theocracy, or fascism, and don't identify myself as 'religious' in any way shape or form.

The fact that I am in favor of maintaining individual rights, over the placidity of any given herd, usually goes unnoticed by those who call me socialist-leaning, bleeding heart, or any other term denoting 'left of center'.

In actuality, I'm a fiscal conservative, and a social liberal. That made me a centrist when I first registered to vote, but there hasn't been a centrist on the National ballot for a few decades now. I still consider myself to be mostly conservative, but there hasn't been one of those on my State ballot since Ronald Reagan entered office. Buncha Republicans, mind, just no conservatives. "Republicans" who are more interested in whether or not the Bible can be taught in schools, than whether or not the schools have effective teachers; the ones who are more concerned with arresting and deporting illegal residents, than in prosecuting folks for the illegal job offers bringing them here in the first place. The ones who want to lay a Canadian Oil pipeline through the majority of the natural aquifers in the central section of the United States, and are willing to accept 'responsibility' for any leaks, in exchange for a maximum of 20,000 moderately-paid jobs, estimated to last 3 years at the outside. The ones who think it's the right of the religious to dictate everyone's morality, and are determined to legislate their version. The ones who believe socializing risk and privatizing profits is known as 'capitalism'.

Those guys give "Republicans" a whole new gig from the one I signed up for lo these many years ago...and many of my detractors exemplify the rubric of 'not with us = against us'. I don't get called a rightie, much.

Don't worry, I will most assuredly catch up shortly!!

After I get a clean pair of depends (industrial strength) on(these are pretty shot), eat some cheese, take my med's and have a quick chat with my psychoanalyst I will be ready to roar back to life judging your posts!!!

On this auspicious day, the anniversary of the Iraq invasion to confiscate Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction, I just want to thank our troops for wasting trillions of dollars and then losing a war against a handful of ignorant peasants. Good job, you guys.

Daily Horoscope for May 26

Libra

Home is where your heart is today and you won't want to stray very far away from it. Maybe you could invite some of your nearest and dearest round for a meal that you cook yourself, giving you the opportunity to really spoil them. If you can't see someone in person you'll enjoy ringing them up for a chat to find out how they are, especially if you've been rather worried about them lately.
