Not a one mentions wheat. When I did the search you mentioned, it produced nothing connected to wheat as the reason.
Here's what your search turned up;
"The Great Depression was the worst economic slump ever in U.S.
history, and one which spread to virtually all of the industrialized
world. The depression began in late 1929 and lasted for about a
decade. Many factors played a role in bringing about the depression;
however, the main cause for the Great Depression was the combination
of the greatly unequal distribution of wealth throughout the 1920's,
and the extensive stock market speculation that took place during the
latter part that same decade. The maldistribution of wealth in the
1920's existed on many levels. Money was distributed disparately
between the rich and the middle-class, between industry and
agriculture within the United States, and between the U.S. and Europe.
This imbalance of wealth created an unstable economy. The excessive
speculation in the late 1920's kept the stock market artificially
high, but eventually lead to large market crashes. These market
crashes, combined with the maldistribution of wealth, caused the
American economy to capsize."
Unequal distribution of wealth, buying on margin, Pres. Hoover's ineptness were the primary causes of the Depression.
The wheat thing is so stupid, only nitwits like you would believe it.
Here you go. Just one of many

Yet not a single one says wheat prices had anything to do with the Depression.

They were a result of the crash, not a cause of it!! Wheat was at strong prices in June 1929.

Guess what month the crash occurred, nitwit??
----------

"" Record 1928 crops in the U.S. and worldwide at 4.7 billion bushels left a 1/2 billion bushel carryover, of which over 40% was U.S. and Canadian wheat. The U.S. carryover almost equaled an average yearly export total. The U.S. had produced almost 20% of the total world wheat crop.

Despite this huge agricultural carryover, reports of poor crops in Canada, Argentina and Australia - and a federal Farm Board authorization of $500 million to support agricultural prices - aided agricultural prospects and supported generally higher prices during the summer of 1929. Unemployment was low and wages and dividend payments reached new highs.""

Hey listen, no one ever said Iraq was Utopia. But, it's hell now, thanks to our intervention. If a country has always been under a dictatorship; it's not a quick process to change into democracy.
Sanctions are not a perfect solution, but it does bring about pressure to resolve a problem. Under Sadam Hussein, the terrorists that tried to start trouble were killed. Now, it's a breeding ground.
The concept that democrats are not responsible for all the ills of the world throughout history (or at least the six thousand years she recognizes) is a foreign to dumb carol as the idea that she's not going to the heaven.

It's just interesting though, isn't it, that the Moynihan Report focused on the discussion of children being born out of wedlock warning the Aid to Families with Dependent Children program's rules for payments were if the "man was out of the house" leading poor women to throw their husbands out of the house?

And agreeing with Republicans in 1994 that a correction was needed in the welfare system that encouraged women to raise their children without fathers?

Moynihan: "The Republicans are saying we have a helluva problem, and we do."

Republicans are still saying that. So did Clinton when he signed the Welfare Reform Act.

Obama thinks the more the merrier.

Kind of a contradiction to previous democrats.

They were raking in the dough year and year before it happened without having a clue they were creating it.
