Barack Obama, our next President

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ... Full Story

Like the ones people like Carol who don't followtheir doctors' order rack up every year? Eat another donut after you sling some of the red herrings fed t o you by fox propaganda for morons network
One can only hope that an evil creature like Jean from Queens chokes on her next piece of lox.

By the way, your bagel with "schmear" is a lot worse than the average donut.

How many wealthy people don't have health insurance???
Don't many of these people already pay for better care & service? Many high ed doctors charge their clients a retainer like fee.
Are you really that dumb?
Many more people will do that as more doctors move out of Obamacare and into the cash market.

Do you people really think that welfare bums will ever get the same medical treatment as people who can afford to pay?

Better the rest of us should continue...as we have for years....to pay for the healthcare of their unnsured employees in higher fees and prmiums bcause they get care too late nd in the most expensive venue..the ER .

People are going to be able to get health insurance & have access to healthcare.
OMG We can't have that.
They may have government "insurance", but access will be a different matter. The real losers will be currently-insured middle-class folks who will be standing in line behind the welfare bums.

LOLOLOLHCongressional Black Caucus Chairwoman Marcia L. Fudge is escalating her campaign to urge President Barack Obama to pick African-Americans for his Cabinet, publicly releasing a letter that slams the first black president for a lack of diversity among his closest advisers.
“The people you have chosen to appoint in this new term have hardly been reflective of this country’s diversity,” the Ohio Democrat said in the March 11 letter.
Fudge adds that CBC members’ offices have received phone calls from angry constituents questioning why Obama hasn’t nominated anyone with the ability “to speak to the unique needs of African Americans. Their ire is compounded by the overwhelming support you’ve received from the African American community.”

No. But some medical care is better than no medical care, and preventive care is the best kind. I'd much rather the 'bums' use Obamacare than emergency rooms.

Personally, I don't use either. I take pretty good care of myself, without doctors. Western medicine is a joke anyway.

Then you're the type of individual who should get high deductible insurance, to cover catastrophic illness at low cost.

Unfortunately, Obamacare takes away that option.

Seriously, why should I pay $200,000 over 10 years, for 'insurance' which will fight me tooth and nail over paying for my medical needs when I try to use it?

I'm a conservative, dammit. I have a savings account, and if that doesn't cover my 'catastrophic care', I'm going to die. That's how life works.

Sheesh.

Obama Sticks His Nose into the Finances of All Americans

Welcome to the Fourth Reich

(Reuters)- The Obama administration is drawing up plans to give all U.S. spy agencies full access to a massive database that contains financial data on American citizens and others who bank in the country, according to a Treasury Department document seen by Reuters.

The proposed plan represents a major step by U.S. intelligence agencies to spot and track down terrorist networks and crime syndicates by bringing together financial databanks, criminal records and military intelligence. The plan, which legal experts say is permissible under U.S. law, is nonetheless likely to trigger intense criticism from privacy advocates.

Financial institutions that operate in the United States are required by law to file reports of "suspicious customer activity," such as large money transfers or unusually structured bank accounts, to Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

The Federal Bureau of Investigation already has full access to the database. However, intelligence agencies, such as the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, currently have to make case-by-case requests for information to FinCEN.
