The Telegraph summed up Obama’s leadership qualities:

President Obama sees his re-election as a mandate to continue the very policies that will eventually bankrupt the country unless they are reversed, regardless of huge opposition on Capitol Hill. It chimes closely with the president’s second inaugural address…, which offered absolutely no olive branches to the nearly 61 million Americans who voted for his opponent in November.

It wouldn’t be hard to fill a book on Obama’s self-centeredness.

When Neil Armstrong died in August, the President posted a picture of HIMSELF looking up at the moon.

What should have been a President talking about the greatness of an American hero became ANOTHER self-aggrandizing moment by Obama.

Short memory?
You aid this: "Unfortunately what you and your article fail to acknowledge is that "FEDERAL INCOME TAX" is the tax collected and used to fund programs like welfare and SNAP. The very same programs that most who do not pay these taxes take advantage of. "
The last sentence.
Idiot Dave .. we all know that reading comprehension is not your strong suit but .... to speak in little words that you will understand.

The original poster was attempting to justify (like most of you liberals) that in paying taxes other than FEDERAL INCOME TAX that they are indeed paying taxes and contributing.

My point to the original poster was that they may pay other taxes but the benefits that these individuals take advantage of are funded by FEDERAL INCOME TAX, of which they pay none.

My point to you is that I don't believe that the programs should exist to begin with for them to take advantage of.

But they like you have little intellect/education to understand the concept or their negative impact on the country.

Get an education Dave, don't just claim one.

That's a switch. So you're no longer a republican who fights tooth and nail for the banks, oil companies, defense contractors, Big Pharma, insurance cos et al and their fat cat CEOs like Rick SCott of Fl to continue the republican crony capitalist theft of US tax dollars? Or is it just the poor and middle class who don't get the benefit of the taxes they actually pay? And on't ive me that crap that the poor on't pay taxes. They pay more than many major corporations bobo.
I Never was a republican, I LOATHE big pharma (they have RUINED America!) banks don't bother me-except when they loan dolluhs to those who really have no means of paying them back -just out of market greed, oil companies are just part of reality and merely supply Americas dependency (over) consumption of the product they supply, insurance companies would probably be able to offer lower rates if there was some major tort reforms to keep the GREEDY from taking advanatge...and I am OF the poorer working middle class, and have seen NOTHING for the YEARS of taxes paid, especially the past few years, except to see it all get handed over even more- to those who have NO earned entitlement to it whatsoever.
And sorry Jean, these days, that (often abused and lied about) EIC stuff...what a tax break! NOTHING paid, just more back into the pockets of those living off the givverment system.
And I've already stated repeatedly, I think corps need a little tax reformation themselves, cappped and curbed and limited loopholes-starting with "entertainment" and "travel expenses".(as in BULLCHIT-pay for it yourselves, lying arse SLACKERTICS)

I remember standing in an Embassy Suites hotel room in San Jose CA in 1999 taking my tie off and watching the evening news on TV. BJ Clinton came on suddenly and, with his patented stern look, informed us that he had no choice but to launch cruise missiles into the Sudan and Bagdad because of an imminent terrorist threat.
This was THE NIGHT BEFORE MONICA LEWINSKY WAS SCHEDULED TO TESTIFY about BJ having his genitalia sucked and ejaculating in her face.
I remember thinking how pi$$ed I would be if I were a Sudanese or Iraqi, having an American president obviously trying to distract the US public's attention by bombing my country.
Two years later, where was OBL from? Oh yeah-- the Sudan.
As for blaming a previous president, I think your Boy Wonder has everybody beat. How much longer do we have to hear that the reason his socialist agenda isn't working is because it's BUSH'S FAULT?
Too bad Republicans didn't give a rats patut about what Sadam or Bin Laden was doing.

Because they were more concerned about getting the details of a sexual act between two consenting adults.

Finally, after four years, the Senate will propose a budget.

It won't come close to balancing the budget in 10 years and includes $1 trillion more in taxes, but at least they have a budget.

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos:

OBAMA: You know, my goal is not to chase a balanced budget just for the sake of balance. My goal is how do we grow the economy, put people back to work, and if we do that we're gonna be bringin' in more revenue. If we've controlled spending and we've got a smart entitlement package, then potentially what you have is balance.

Problem is, he's making it harder for people to go back to work because employers aren't hiring more people because of Obama's policies.

Basically, he's an enigma. Or an imposter. Take your pick.
