The Democrats lied to you about being lied to.
There was no illegal surveillance of the public.
Funny how quickly your tune changes when you replace Susan Rice for Bush, and Benghazi for Iraq.
You're so transparently full of sh*t.

I'm not the revealing one, Doody. You have embarrassed yourself beyond the point of no return.

Patch it up with small talk and banter. Then move on.

You say the Democrats lied about being lied to (with regard to Bush and Cheney's WMD speeches).

Which means you believe Bush and Cheney were telling the truth.

Okay, so where are these WMDs?

Rand Paul is standing up for a very important principle, with bipartisan support. Paul is an American hero, standing up to a Fascist dictator.

Realtime loves Obama so much that he prefers drone attacks on American citizens on American soil.

The GOP doesn't need any help from Obama to lose.
The GOP is less popular right now than head lice.
What solutions to anything has the GOP leadership offered?
The last Congress was least productive in history.
Aside from naming a few post offices, and voting 30 times to overturn Obamacare, what has been accomplished?

We entered those dangerous waters beginning with Reagan who ran up record deficits from 1981-1989. There was nothing comparable before.

As far as I'm concerned, G.W. took us over the cliff and Obama is holding on by his fingernails.

Step away from the bongo Flacko.
Oh yes! We are set on two paths. The technological path will change our lives to the very core of our existence. The way we live now will have very little resemblance to how we live now. Example: 3D Printer. We will print almost everything. Remember the replicator from Star Trek? That was a 3D Printer that printed food. Except for fresh food there will be no need for grocery stores.

The social path may look very much like 1984. Thought police. Nowhere to be alone. Big Brother watching even in your home. Technology has a double edge. It can set us free but at the same time force us into the collective.

Tricorders ( can't really call them cell phones anymore) are going to change the way we think and behave. That is already noticeable. The collective thoughts of a billion people working on a single problem will have a dramatic influence on our culture.

The world really is about to change forever faster and faster. It is up to us to decide how it changes. This is a point in time which comes about very rarely. Make sure all of you make the right choice.

No court for drone oversight, says GOP

Senate Republicans on Tuesday ruled out placing armed drone strikes under the authority of a special court, arguing the move would be a dangerous intrusion on presidential power.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) last week raised the idea of creating a new oversight court for drones that would be patterned after the checks and balances that govern surveillance.

But senior Republicans in the Senate dismissed that plan as unrealistic, and warned it would undermine critical counterterrorism efforts.

“I think it is a terrible idea,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told The Hill.

A new court would be “the biggest intrusion ... in the history of [this] country” on the president’s authority as commander in chief, Graham said.

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Tuesday that "there is oversight" on the Obama administration's drone strikes against U.S. citizens who are believed to be senior al-Qaeda leaders.

"I review all of the air strikes that we use under this title of the law," he told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell. Rogers added that Americans who decide to join al-Qaeda become enemies of the U.S. "If you have someone who has joined this organization, and they may not be engaged in plot a today, but part of an organization plotting to kill Americans, and so they've joined the enemy. So you don't just kill the enemy when they're at the gate."

Rogers insisted there is not a long list of Americans on any "kill list." "I can candidly tell you that," he said.

The sequester will cut $85 billion in government spending from March 1 to September 30. It is a 5% cut for most federal spending, but because the fiscal year began on October 1, 2012, five months have already passed and thus the one year cut is jammed into 7 months.
That is factually incorrect, and not a big deal in any event.
