Barack Obama, our next President

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ... Read more

Because the right-wing has demonized Barack Obama so much, many independent Americans are tuning out. They’re numb to criticism about the president. All this birth certificate and Muslim stuff has actually helped Barack Obama.

The problem is giving one man the power to order the targeted assassination of an American citizen in a non-military operation.
If you can't understand that, then discussion is pointless.
Killing known terrorist who plotted against the US, recruited suicide bombers to attack the US certainly is a military operation.

Here is what I love about you dumbass right whiners.

I know this is a shock to you people but the government had the means to kill any US citizen on US soil before armed drones were invented.

I guess the ever moronic dumbass Rand Paul should filibuster the Senate until Obama says he will never use a rifle to kill a US citizen, then he can filibuster again & ask about a helicopter, scud missile, tank, steamroller, screw driver, baseball bat, etc etc etc

You right whiners re just dumber than sh*t.

Current corporate profits are a hollow shell in the Obama economy.
Corporations are making profits by cutting overhead (employees) to the bone, not by growing the business. Much of this is because Obama policies, mostly Obamacare, make employees unaffordable. This strategy works in the short term, but is not sustainable.
Most business are waiting for he demand to improve.

Good morning loony bin.

You are confusing popular with wisdom allowing the Justice System to work. Loons like you convict and execute people without trials, just like Obama does when killing U.S. citizens and 800 innocent civilians abroad with his drones.

I wonder why Joseph Stalin is so popular with Democrats?

<quoted text> Oh yes! We are set on two paths. The technological path will change our lives to the very core of our existence. The way we live now will have very little resemblance to how we live now. Example: 3D Printer. We will print almost everything. Remember the replicator from Star Trek? That was a 3D Printer that printed food. Except for fresh food there will be no need for grocery stores.
The social path may look very much like 1984. Thought police. Nowhere to be alone. Big Brother watching even in your home. Technology has a double edge. It can set us free but at the same time force us into the collective.
Tricorders ( can't really call them cell phones anymore) are going to change the way we think and behave. That is already noticeable. The collective thoughts of a billion people working on a single problem will have a dramatic influence on our culture.
The world really is about to change forever faster and faster. It is up to us to decide how it changes. This is a point in time which comes about very rarely. Make sure all of you make the right choice.
I find it odd that you believe in all this technology, space travel, mining on the moon, all brought to us by scientists & engineers.

Yet scientists that tell us about man made global warming are all a bunch of liars.

It doesn't mesh.

There is a difference between reality and fairy tales. The technology is here to do everything posted and a lot more. Speculation is just that, guessing. The world has dealt with a lot worse and will deal with a lot more. It will still be spinning around the sun long after we aren't even a memory.

Voyager I has left the solar system. It will be 80,000 years before it even gets close to another star. Mankind most likely will be extinct by then. Can you grasp that?

Obotic administrative Benghazi: a "spontanous uprising"...AFTER the ships ported and weapons were dispersed to the AQIM branch of al qaeder....
OR aka ...PHAT crayon FAILED (no) Foreign Policy.

CNN)-- Shortly after the attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi last September, a phone call was placed from the area.

Whoever made the call was excited. "Mabruk, Mabruk!" he repeated, meaning "Congratulations" in Arabic.

Two sources with high-level access to Western intelligence services have told CNN the call was made to a senior figure in al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM. There is no proof that the call was specifically about the attack, in which U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed, but the sources say that is the assumption among those with knowledge of the call.
One of the sources says the phone call was discovered when a Western intelligence service trawled through intercepts of communications made in the wake of the attack. That source told CNN that the call was made specifically to Moktar Belmoktar, leader of an al Qaeda faction based in northern Mali...
