WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Under fire from flight attendants and others, the Transportation Safety Administration’s new rules allowing air passengers to carry small knives, baseball bats, golf clubs, and other sporting goods onto airplanes got a vote of confidence today from the National Arbitrariness Association.

The N.A.A., whose stated mission is to “enhance the randomness, disorder, and confusion of American life,” called the new list of approved items “just what the doctor ordered.”

“We love that the list appears to have been put together with no organizing principal or logical system,” said N.A.A. executive director Carol Foyler.“It combines the virtues of making no sense and being impossible to remember. Knives, bats, golf clubs, billiard cues—it’s like they made this list using refrigerator-poetry magnets.”

but here is more:
"Medicaid is a broken, costly system due to its unusual structure. The federal government splits the cost of Medicaid with each state through a matching formula. The federal government pays on average 57 cents of every dollar spent on Medicaid. In exchange, the federal government puts numerous restrictions on states on who must be covered and how the program must be run.

This complex, ineffective setup means that states have their hands tied in running the program. As a result, states are forced to slash payments to providers, doctors and hospitals, to control for the rapid growth in Medicaid. Medicaid pays about 55% of what private insurance does; Medicare pays 75%. When payments to doctors are reduced, doctors decide not to accept Medicaid patients. A recent study in the journal Health Affairs estimates that 30% of doctors do not accept new Medicaid patients. In some states, the numbers is much higher—it’s 60% in New Jersey."

Do your own homework. Every on the adult with a rational mind knows and understands that there were policies set in place back in the 19 forties fifties and sixties that was a discriminatory against black people buying houses outside of the ghetto. Look up white flight and the laws prohibiting black families to buy houses in the new suburban communities even when they were able to afford them. I don't see why you continue to ask the saying stupid questions.
As for the theory you carry on black killing fields. Put white people in a segregated area with limited resources, food, jobs, & housing & you'll have the same results. Whites killing whites to survive. That only makes sense, but what doesn't is white folks of privileged backgrounds killing strangers in masses, or slaughtering their entire family. Shooting up malls schools. Public places of mass gathering. In a sense ones can say ghetto residents killing ghetto residents still equates to killing for a reason however wrong it may be. But the atrocities committed by white folks are done for no reason, at least in the sane reason. So the real question is why has the suburbs become the breeding grounds for mass murdering, incest relationship, welfare recipient, gun crazy white folks? Answer that! Tell me why those of privileged backgrounds have a thing for slaughtering their own
Liberal icon Franklin D. Roosevelt was a bigoted racist. FDR Proof:

A pretty face is nothing if you have an ugly heart. The DNA of the democratic party is inbred with hate, ignorance and racism. Mass killings by democrats in schools and such, or Chicago ghetto style killings from your "Culture of Violence" are not by angry old white men conservatives clinging to their guns and religion.

The inner city ghettos and projects of modern America and Detroit's urban preserves are the breeding ground big & more government 'Blue Magnets' of hate-filled liberalism, racism, ignorance, poverty, abortion, and America's killing fields of blacks.

Today I'm no longer sad when I see the dereliction among you; instead I marvel your urban preserves, projects, ghettos the face of failure, your own disuse and neglect, and try to understand, but respectably decline to act or be like one of you..

You're such a dumbass! No wonder you sheeple don't have a clue! I read the brief on Monday. What they decided to do was go before a jury to find him not guilty instead of a single judge deciding the case under 'Stand Your Ground'. They wanted the jury trial of 12 so that dumbasses like you couldn't say the judge was paid off and inciting riots when found not guilty.

exactly. take out Chavez from this news story, substitute "The One" and who does it sound like?

__________s legacy of economic nationalism and authoritarian rule will haunt __________ and its neighbors for years to come.

A country that was once one of the few democracies — albeit an imperfect __________ now lies at the bottom of hemispheric rankings on institutional quality and political and civil liberties.

Ironically,_________ used elections, referenda and legal technicalities to destroy vital democratic institutions, such as the separation of powers and the independence of media — when the free press acted more like the government press.

__________ called it “Socialism of the 21st century,” but its main features — messianic leadership, state control of key industries and political repression — more closely resemble fascism.

__________s economy is one of his greatest casualties. The Fraser Institute’s latest Economic Freedom of the World report ranks __________ as the least free economy of 144 nations studied. The inflation rate is among the highest in the world.

The concrete facts are grimmer still: The country suffers from chronic shortages of electricity and basic goods. Its roads, bridges and other infrastructure are literally falling apart after years of neglect, while _______’s industrial and agricultural capacity has been decimated by repeated expropriations and nationalizations.

The country now imports 70 percent of its food. The currency was devalued by 32 percent after a government spending spree leading up to last October’s presidential election left a staggering fiscal deficit of 8.5 percent of GDP.

And that might not be enough: On the black market, the currency is trading at a third the new official rate against the dollar, so an even larger devaluation may come soon.

__________ wouldn’t have been able to pursue his populist agenda if it weren’t for raising taxes on the successful, which some estimate accounted for $________ in revenues during his tenure. About a third went for social programs — hence his popularity among the poor and low information voters. But the rest was squandered in dubious investments or went to swell the bank accounts of a new privileged class called the “______”— so named because they’ve prospered tremendously under __________s so-called redistribution of wealth and reparations campaign.

Tens of billions also went to foster his regional ambitions — financing extreme left-wing political parties, governments and even armed insurgencies and attacks by drones.

Still, the menace of leftist populism in __________ will be greatly contained by the absence of __________s wallet and charisma and by the visible mess he left behind. Countries such as Canada that have chosen democratic capitalism are faring much better and represent a far more attractive model.

In the final analysis, history will remember __________ as an authoritarian empty suit whose policies set back __________s development and institutions by decades. The faster __________ turns the page, the better.

Now "this" could get interesting.

BPI (Beef Products Inc) the creators and manufacturers of finely textured beef aka pink slime have launched a lawsuit against Diane Sawyer, ABC News and certain others in the employ of ABC.

The suit requests $1.2 billion in damages which amounts to about 1/5th of the broadcasters profit during the year in which it broke the exclusive report. Interestingly BPI remains in business although it's had to shutter a couple of it's plants and operates at about 1/5th of it's former profitability.

The suit seems fairly crafted and will put the broadcasting company in a position where it must defend baseless hostile reporting.
