Barack Obama, our next President

In order to avert a government shutdown later this month, Congress and the Obama administration must negotiate a continuing resolution to maintain federal funding — and a group of House Republicans is suggesting that deal should also roll back Obamacare’s effort to expand women’s access to affordable contraception.

Executive Order 9066, signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 19, 1942, allowed authorized military commanders to designate "military areas" at their discretion, "from which any or all persons may be excluded."
NOW, where does this say Japanese-Americans are to be rounded up and placed in camps? Nowhere.
REMEMBER the earlier statement that our miitary is a powderkeg of fascism? That wonderful military you think is so honorable?
On March 2, 1942, General John L. DeWitt issued Public Proclamation No. 1, declaring that "such person or classes of persons as the situation may require" would, at some later point, be subject to exclusion orders from "Military Area No. 1" (essentially, the entire Pacific coast to about 100 miles (160.9 km) inland), and requiring anyone who had "enemy" ancestry to file a Change of Residence Notice if they planned to move. A second exclusion zone was designated several months later, which included the areas chosen by most of the Japanese Americans who had managed to leave the first zone.
So it was not Roosvelt, but General DeWitt who expanded use of executive order 9066 to a grotesque level.
Here is General DeWitt's final proclamation:
May 3, 1942: General DeWitt issued Civilian Exclusion Order No. 34, ordering all people of Japanese ancestry, whether citizens or non-citizens, who were still living in "Military Area No. 1" to report to assembly centers, where they would live until being moved to permanent "Relocation Centers."
What now, Mr. smartass Retardican? What other area of history would you like your azz kicked in debate?
Liberal icon Franklin D. Roosevelt was a bigoted racist. A pretty face is nothing if you have an ugly hate-filled heart.

FDR Proof: The DNA of the democratic party is inbred with hate, ignorance and racism. Mass killings by democrats in schools and such or Chicago ghetto style killings from your "Culture of Violence" are not by angry old white men conservatives clinging to their guns and religion.

The inner city nazi ghettos and projects of modern America and Detroit's urban preserves are the breeding ground big & more government 'Blue Magnets' of hate-filled liberalism, racism, ignorance, poverty, abortion, and America's killing fields of blacks.

Ok, here we go; this is where it came from:
On Tuesday, the Obama administration announced that the across-the-board sequester cuts will result in the cancellation of all White House tours indefinitely. This no doubt upset ticket holders, but it also seems to have struck a nerve with Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), who introduced an amendment to a continuing resolution on the federal budget that seeks to block President Obama from using federal funds for any future golf outings until the tours are reinstated:
None of the funds made available by a division of this Act may be used to transport the President to or from a golf course until public tours of the White House resume.
Gohmert’s continuation of his party’s infatuation with Obama’s golf game distracts from the bigger picture: namely, that the Republican Party has thus far refused to compromise with the White House or congressional Democrats to delay or bypass entirely the sequestration, which would, among other things, fund White House tours.

Exactly; no doubt this faux outrage on White House visitation must have come from O'Reilly as well. As if that's the nations worst problem. Carol hasn't left Orlando in years.
This is a long, but informative article on the sequester. I doubt Carol will read it, but, it's a beginning in hopes that perhaps she can comprehend the dynamics of it:
There are three groups of Republicans in the House. There are many Members who will never vote for a compromise that closes tax loopholes for the wealthy. There is a smaller group of Members who believe it is in their interest to support such a compromise. But there is also a group of Members who may or may not be convinced to cast a vote for a compromise, but can be convinced that it is in the interests of the GOP brand for Boehner to allow a vote on a compromise that passes both houses and ends the sequester.
That third group of Republican Members is critical of the outcome of the sequester saga. If Progressives and the White House can make these issues personal and concrete, it will begin to tarnish the Republican brand among swing voters.
A recent Public Policy Polling survey found that voters considered Congressional Republicans less popular than head lice, root canals or colonoscopies. It's hard to imagine their image declining much further, but it is certainly possible. As the concrete effects of the Republican sequester become more and more visible, wiser heads in the Republican Party may very well decide that a compromise that looks impossible today, is very possible tomorrow.

It's just a matter of time. Sequesters never run their course. This one won't either.

White House website:

White House Tours
Public tours of the White House are available. Requests must be submitted through one's Member of Congress. These self-guided tours are available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Fridays, and 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturdays (excluding federal holidays or unless otherwise noted). Tour hours will be extended when possible based on the official White House schedule. Tours are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Requests can be submitted up to six months in advance and no less than 21 days in advance. You are encouraged to submit your request as early as possible as a limited number of spaces are available. All White House tours are free of charge.
"Tourists visiting the nation’s capital go through their Senators’ and House members’ offices to schedule the popular tours, which gives the administration one more device to put heat on the Republican-run House of Representatives.

During 1990′s budget showdowns between President Clinton and House Republicans, the Washington Monument was used as a fulcrum to put pressure on Congress."

"Obama is spending $2.4 million on White House staff than President Bush. But we’re supposed to believe that tiny budget cuts require that the (often self-guided) tours get the ax. As Rep. Ted Poe put it,“the people have been banned from the people’s house.”"

I clicked on your link and this is what I got.

"Rep. Jose E. Serrano (D-NY) released a statement today praising former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, despite the latter’s record of harsh crackdowns on his political opponents and state-sanctioned persecution against Venezuela’s Jewish population."

Priceless!
