I do agree that CT scans are less expensive when paying cash, as little as $800 for the iodine contrast at an imaging clinic. It would then be left to the insured to work out reimbursement from the insurance provider. Those in large group plans might have an insurance administrator to handle the paperwork. Out of group insured have to go it alone and may be reimbursed at a discounted rate.
Additionally, Hospitals are being built and expanded, medical schools and research facilities are being built as are various sorts of medical clinics. I recent showed your butt pal Galt that a spanking new hospital is opening in, cough, his town and Kaiser is eying the area for one of it's grand research hospitals.
My area is going wild, with a new and massive VA hospital, a spanking new Nemours hospital, expansions at the the other hospital groups and new medical school and research park adjacent to UCF.
And in spite of expansion everywhere you aholes are spewing sht about doctor shortages.
Puke du jour.
Thus the word "needs" in my post.

All these new hospitals in your area yet they don't take appointments. Hows that going to help everyday americans.

When you make cash payments you leave the insurance provider out of it. Work with the care provider...you'll find they are very reasonable.

AIPACís Asks: No Sequester and a ĎOne-Nightí War

The annual AIPAC conference is perhaps diluted in meaning this year. Obama isnít addressing it, as heís traveling to Israel in a few weeks. Netanyahu has yet to form a post-election government. So the ever-interesting question of whether the leader of the superpower will have to defer to the leader of the client state is pushed forward a few weeks. The sequester has begun, and American government agencies with the weightiest responsibilities vis-ŗ-vis terrorism, cyberattacks, and the like are now scrambling to deal with severe financial cutbacks. This hasnít stopped AIPAC from getting ready to lobby that Israel be spared of any cuts facing Americans. As one AIPAC official told the Jerusalem Post,ĒDuring a period of mounting threat to our critical ally, Israel, this is no time to reduce critical assistance which would only result in greater and graver costs.Ē Israeli officials have been more circumspect. I would be astonished if AIPAC has the chutzpah both to attempt to exempt Israeli aid from sequester cuts and more if it actually succeeded at it, but Iíve been surprised before.

The Temecula hospital is small and still under construction.

The Kaiser facility is still just talk and, I would assume, primarily for members of that HMO if ever built.
