No we just didn't take that fuzzy liberal math class that you seem to lean on for your ignorance.
Lets review your ignorance.
Say your budget is $100 for the year. A 2%cut means you can only spend $98.00.
But they year is half over. So of the remaining $50 you were budgeted is cut $2, that $2 represents 4% of the remaining money. So the remaining expenditures must be cut by 4%.
Now your household budget is $2000. Say your mortgage & payments such as student loans, credit cards, etc come to $1000.00, That 2% cut in your income means you need to reduce your monthly spending by $40.00.
Since banks & credit card companies demand their full money, that 2% will come from the balance of your budget which now needs to be cut by 4%.
So, now your budget must be cut by 8%.
No fuzzy math. Evidently its just math too difficult for the feeble minded right.
