Disgraced Ex-Congressman Attacks John Boehner in New Book
Bob Ney, who was imprisoned for his role in the Jack Abramoff scandal, has some scores to settle
.
Ney’s most dramatic accusations are against his fellow Ohioan John Boehner, the man he once saw as his biggest rival to someday being speaker. He describes Boehner as “a bit lazy” and “a man who was all about winning and money. He was a chain-smoking, relentless wine drinker who was more interested in the high life--golf, women, cigarettes, fun, and alcohol.” He said Boehner “spent almost all of his time on fundraising, not policy.” He “golfed, drank constantly, and took the easy way legislatively.” Ney recalled Boehner handing out checks on the House floor and said his ties with a tobacco company were so tight that lawmakers could get free cigarettes from Boehner’s office. His golfing, Ney said, was “nonstop” and “paid for by lobbyists.”

Ney wrote:“If the Justice Department were ever to make John produce receipts for his addiction to golf just for the years from 1995 to 2004, he would be hard-pressed to comply. John got away with more than any other Member on the Hill.”

I remember when Democrats cringed when we called them liberals - even back then they tried to mask who they really were. Now they are unabashed socialists and some even act proud when called one, however most of the sniveling anti-American Democrats profess to be "progressives" - code word for socialist/communist.

I love how the scumbags call taxes "revenues" and wasteful spending "investments" - they are so frikkin sleazy and foolish.

1. The Cuts Are Tiny!
The actual cuts in fiscal year 2013 are only $44 billion, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). The rest don't even take place until 2014 or later. Whether you use $44 billion or $85 billion we're talking about 1 or 2 percent of total government spending.
2. Spending is Still Going Up!
Even with the sequester, the federal government is expected to spend more this year than it did last year. The government spent $3.5 trillion in 2012 and i expected to spend $3.6 trillion in 2013 (see Summary Table 1).
http://www.youtube.com/watch...
So, stuffit douchebag.
Lets take a look.

1-2% of the federal budget meas that for the balance of this fiscal year, those cuts need made, Since about half the year is passed, that means we are looking to cut 2-4%.

Now figure in all the stuff that is exempt from the sequester, that likely doubles again to 4-8%.

Plus there are contracts, leases, etc that can't be cut.

So now what are we are up to?

You right whiners are just dumber than sh*t.

As reported earlier, the sequestration has led to the cancellation of White House tours, according to a letter from the White House's visitors office obtained by Talking Points Memo, that expressed "regret" for these cancellations, "during the popular Spring touring season," explaining that "staffing reductions resulting from sequestration" forced the issue.

As Evan McMorris-Santoro noted, "Requests for White House tours are generally submitted through the requester's Member of Congress." And sure enough, there were lots of Republican members of Congress who greeted the news that they'd be unable to offer their constituents/cronies a tour of the White House with plaintive cries that were all recorded for posterity on the Twitter feed of Fox News congressional correspondent Chad Pergram.

Who knew that there were so many White House tour super-fans in the House GOP caucus?

Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats don't fly around in fancy private jets you goddamn liar, they fly commercial like everyone else. The only member of Congress that gets a private jet is the Speaker of the House currently Republican John Boehner.

Confronted With Facts, O'Reilly Screams "Bullshit"
Guest Accurately Identified Specific Cuts Obama Supports

Fox News host Bill O'Reilly broke down and screamed at his guest Alan Colmes for identifying spending cuts that President Obama has proposed, shouting at Colmes, "That's bullshit!" and repeatedly claiming Obama hasn't proposed specific cuts to replace the across-the-board cuts known as the sequester. But Colmes was correct: Obama has proposed cuts to Medicare and Medicaid as part of his plan to replace the sequester.

During the March 5 broadcast of The O'Reilly Factor, O'Reilly repeatedly claimed that Obama "refuses" to endorse specific spending cuts, shouting at Colmes, "Give me one damn program he said he'd cut!" even as Colmes highlighted Medicare and Medicaid as two programs Obama has proposed cutting: VIDEO

More attempts to misinform by Carol.

If you recall during the fiscal cliff crap, that many companies were issuing dividends etc early in December instead of waiting until Jan & getting them taxed at a higher rate.

If you factor out these early releases, income would be up slightly.

Health insurance costs have risen faster than inflation every year in the past decade or more.

My God, Carol. Get a freakin grip.
