Barack Obama, our next President

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ... Full Story

Obama is the worst economic President ever. No President since Roosevelt has presided over such a dismal growth and unemployment rate. 2M+ jobs lost and this man is preaching gun control and immigration. It is obvious this man doesn't give a crap about the economy.
Now the sequester comes along although both sides knew about it over a year ago and we have another crisis. And both sides are to blame for any outcomes not positive although the media will make sure the spin is against the conservatives.
Both parties represent the special interests, getting fat off of perks and becoming millionaires many times over while in office. And we foolish Americans keep electing them. We have created this situation.
You may say Obama isn't like that. Actions speak louder than words and Obama's actions are every bit special interest and letting the rich court him. He talks a good game and may of you have bought this crap. I can appreciate voting for "anyone other than Bush" in 2008. What I can't understand is how this failure got re-elected.
Shame on us for we deserve the hate our children and grandchildren will have for us for our poor stewardship.
Only racists are dissatisfied with economic growth of less than 1% when the black man is trying his best. It isn't Obama's fault that his best can't cut the mustard in a racist society.

So Illinois, what has this President done for you?
Illinois unemployment is higher than when he took office. The most recent information shows that Illinois residents getting food stamps is approaching 1M households and about twice that amount of people getting fed by the government.
Illinois state debt is the fourth highest in the nation, with each state resident owing $21K+. The credit/bond rating for the state is 49th.
And Illinois residents keep electing the same party to office?
Not Illinois as a whole, but Chicago/Cook County.

The rest of the state would like to secede.

Most web searches for credit worthiness comparisons between ethnicities will give you mealy-mouthed ho-hum BS. You have to dig hard and don't even consider looking at the Fed pages. They will print ten paragraphs to explain racial credit rating differences and, after you've read them, your head will become blank. This is intentional.
Or, if you want your head to spin over more "racial sensitivity" BS, just read your own childish postings, ImaginaryDave.
Investors Daily? lol What an "authoritative" source.

Unfortunately, your source does not say "Democrats". It merely says the government pressured institutions to lend.

Not the same as a law on the books compelling banks to lend.

You would have us believe at a time when Republicans controlled the White House and Congress, they would fail to come to the assistance of the banking industry if it protested compulsory loan standards.

On that basis, your argument collapses.

Will Israel Decide When America Goes to War?

Ali Gharib has the goods here on the proposed Lindsay Graham-Robert Menendez bill to mandate U.S. support for an Israeli strike on Iran. The resolution states that if Israel is “compelled” to attack Iran, the U.S. should “stand with” Israel and provide diplomatic, military, and economic support. A congressional resolution is not an executive commitment—and presumably the administration can ignore it. A similar bill was drafted in 2011 by House Republicans, and failed to get airborne. This one, spearheaded by Graham, a GOP foreign-policy leader, and the incorruptible Democrat Robert Menendez, has the same intent: to broadcast the falsehood that the U.S. and Israel see the Iranian nuclear issue in exactly the same terms, to counter the White House’s diplomatic efforts to stop Israel from igniting a war. If the resolution fouls efforts to reach a negotiated agreement about Iran’s nuclear program, that would be gravy.(It calls for the U.S to prevent an Iranian nuclear “capability”—which is a more aggressive formulation than Obama’s stated policy of preventing an Iranian “nuclear weapon.”) In spirit and intent, the resolution seeks to limit American options and outsource critical American decisions about war and peace to Israel.

AIPAC, which gathers in Washington for a show of strength this coming week (there will be protests), is reportedly making support for the Graham-Menendez resolution one of its main “asks” when they send lobbyists up to Capitol Hill. During the Hagel confirmation hearings, Graham dared the Nebraskan to name some of the “stupid” things AIPAC makes the Senate do. Hagel didn’t rise to the bait, but he if had, he could have replied that trying to bind the United States to Israeli decisions about bombing Iran would be one of them.

You think Israel is "dependable"?

They are second only to Russia with regard to espionage within the United States.

In 1986, they pilfered an enormous amount of classified Navy data via the Pollard spy scandal. Israel has next to nothing of a navy, so it's likely they sold the info to the Russians.

They shot up one of our Navy vessels back in 1967, claiming it was an "accident". But the USS Liberty's large flag was in full view and the letters "GTR" on the side of the hull are of the Latin alphabet, not be confused with the Arabic. Crewmen in the water were machinegunned while helpless.

It's obvious they intended to sink the ship, kill all survivors and blame it on Egypt who they were at war with.

They continue to drag out the peace process, holding on to land they stole and infuriating the Arab World in general. And that makes enemies for the U.S.

In a word, the Israelis are treacherous ingrates, not "dependable" allies.

Your post above is irrelevant to mine which raised the issue of whether banks were compelled by FEDERAL law to make loans to unqualified buyers. Shining Electron failed to make the case for it.

Obama and Holder should prosecute if they have any evidence. Bush and Cheney have no immunity.

But Obama will need a better case than "outing" a Washington party girl.

I saw on news tonight obama was driving home from mexican resturant. He put the tacos on dash board and pulled off too fast. The ensuing beans and guacamoli went all over the front seat, him, shifter, and steering wheel. This was a classic margeritta zone party.
