"compassionate conservatism" is an oxymoron.

Selfishness, war-by-lies for corporate benefit, torture prisons, that's what the GOP is all about.

If I point to the Jerk-In-Chief's long string of broken promises regarding a transparent administration, not allowing any lobbyists on the White House payroll or posting all proposed White House Legislation on the Web before sending it to Congress or any of a hundred other broken promises, you'll talk about how America screwed the Indians.
You couldn't face an opponent directly anywhere if your miniscule life depended on it.
You're just an angry little man who can't face the crminality and failure of his party.

Is Obama perfect? No. Has he broken his word on some issues? Yes.

But he hasn't launched a war-by-lies, outed a CIA agent or ordered the NSA to spy on us in vioation of the law.

For all his faults, he's still better than the last occupant.

The banks were free to do what they wanted because Republicans were the majority party. Try to get that straight, pachyderm.
So your good buddies, the banks, made out predatorial loans. They did this by first getting the customer's income and means from the application form. Then they figured the payments that would cause default. OUTCOME = Banks keep payments + house.
Several major banks are currently under investigation for these practices. Let me emphasize, no one forced the banks to lend money or act like crooks. They did it on their own initiative.
Your lies don't work anymore. Topics posters here have supplied the links repeatedly for years to make your ilk look like the monkeys you are.

I am NOT going to keep wasting my time repeating and repeating the same truths for you deniers to whine over.

The vote was 70/30 (close) in favor of the war, and included “yes” votes from Senate Democrats such as Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, John Edwards, Chris Dodd, and Harry Reid. While the liberals claim that it was Bush who solely brought us into the war, they dodge the simple fact that authorization could have easily been denied!

The Democrats held a majority of 51-49 in the Senate, and could have simply blocked the vote. However, they stood with President Bush and overwhelmingly supported the war 3-1. If liberals are so anti-War, how come they never share blame for starting the Iraq War?

It's not about that anyway, Lily. The purpose behind all of this is to try and destroy the opposition at any cost, at any risk.
It was supposed to end up reflecting bad on republicans.
But with three prominent democrats blowing the whistle on this administration's threats, lies and deception in the same week, it's backfiring on him.
Yeah and a majority of Republicans voted for it. The GOP and nitwits like you have been calling for cuts for years and here they are.
The differences between the Democratic and GOP plans is where cuts are to be made. Democrats want to cut tax loopholes that many large corporations use to avoid taxes and the GOP want cuts in programs that help the poor and middle class.
The majority of Americans are in favor of Obama's balanced approach rather than the GOP slash and burn policies that would ultimately crash the economy.
The GOP has been trying to destroy the opposition for four years now stupid and they've failed.

That's right nitwit, he's taking his case to the American people because they're the ones who are ultimately judge whose approach is best for the country.

In the game of chicken, the chicken always looks away or veers off first. It's actually come down to this. A president who likes to play games to win rather than solve problems.
Bullcrap Carol, the GOP has never had any interest what so ever in solving problems. Their position has been since the President was elected the first time to block anything that would improve the economy so that they could lay the blame on him. They failed. They don't care about the middle class only their ultra wealthy patrons. They certainly don't care about you, they're using you and playing off your ignorance and bigotry to establish the fascist plutocracy of their dreams.

So your sayin Bush's response to 9/11, that would be the War of Lies as you call it was unjustified? Invading Iraq was the wrong move? Maybe forgive and forget is more to your liking?
Bush responded correctly. Iraq was by far the best choice for any foothold in the Middle East. Allied troops were already there with 'no fly'and let's out other countries from becoming directly involved.
How do you think your going to take out terrorist training camps, arm stockpiles and the oppostion responsible for it? It makes it easier when your at least on the same continent.
Haa Haa, of course the NSA has to spy on us. That's what you have to do when you don't secure your Country's border for 30 years. Or maybe you think poor So American peasants are the only ones who sneak over the border.
Better than the last occupant? Fiscal cliff's, Sequester's, even doubling the debt and crushing the middle class is better?
That sounds like a statement you ought to rethink
We had bases in Saudi Arabia you dumbass.

So you say Bush lied in order to get bases in Iraq.

And you accept this?

They were forced to a point from passing legislation making it discrimatory to deny a minority, who doesn't meet the (then) standard qualification for a home loan and refuse him.
It did let low income whites in on it, but was written specific for "minorities" haa but with a equal result and outcome for both.
*feeling like a non minority yet?*
Those financial wizards saw the profit in that and took advantage.
With it being sold to the people as some feel good thing for those unfortunate struggling minorities who just can't quite afford a house of their own and need just a little help, lol, yeah and to right some wrongs, can't forget that.
That makes it almost perfect, what Senator or President would stop the predatory lending that, yes..targeted those that...well couldn't really afford a house to begin with. Oh not very likely.
But I could see one person standing up and saying " we have to raise the bar back up to who qualifies for the home loans or risk the collapse of the whole market.
And somebody else drowning him out with accusations of the hate and racism against minorities because it will disqualify so many.
Taking it to a emotional level instead of a rational thought based level.
Maybe that's what makes the smart people among us.....and the stupid ones too.
Liar.

Banks were forced to quit discriminating against minorities.

They lost in court because they would give loans to whites and not to blacks even though they had equivalent financials.
