Barack Obama, our next President

<quoted text> yes. We all know you've been trained to think bush did it all . You seem to forgetthat unlike obama bush got aproval from a democrat controlled congress for his actions. Now if your claim is that bush lied then you must also claim the democrats that voted for war are very stupid or bush was just so much smarter and fooled them all.
First, it was a Republican congress which passed the Iraq Resolution. The number of Republicans who voted favorably outnumbered Democrats by 2:1 overall.

Second, the only reason those Democrats which supported the Resolution did so was because Bush and Cheney lied to them.

Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200.

For the sake of argument. Let's say bush lied which led to war. So if that's true was bush that much smarter than the dems or did the dems not bother to read what they were voting for just as they did with health care, waiting to see the outcome to find out what they voted for. Either way the dems prove their incompetence.

Were you ever a slave , I never owned a slave so in what century do you get over it and move on and stop blaming your own lot in life on something that happened to someone else 150 years ago , you and you alone are responsible for your own lot in life , pull up your pants cover up the neck tattoos and do something on your own and stop playing the race card .

Climate Change: The Folly of "Demanding" Action

In reality, the diminutive, corporate-media inflated rally in DC was organized by the very corporate-financier special interests that have been wreaking terrible havoc on both the human population and the environment of this planet for decades. They are demanding action from a government that already represents their interests.

Their demands are policies, particularly financial tax schemes that they themselves created and are are best positioned to benefit from while making no discernible impact on the very real environmental threats we collectively face...

- Consistent unemployment rate of 8%
- Declining household incomes for American's
- Fewer American's paying Federal Income tax
- More American's on food stamps
- Home values down, way down
Now "real dumb" tell me what legislation passed by republican's let to the economies demise? You can not, democrats deserve all the credit.

No,the stimulus bill that took a climbing number of job losses at 750,000 a month & turn it into zero. It then created millions of jobs.

The stimulus that took Bushing shrinking economy & turned it into a growing one.

Housing coming back..
As for more people on unemployment, food stamps, & people making less money, these are the direct results of the Bush Recession.

When will you ever admit that this recession was well in place when Obama took office.

PALM CITY, Fla.— Federal Aviation Administration officials say they're investigating three more apparent breaches of the no-fly zone above President Barack Obama's vacation spot along Florida's Atlantic coastline.

According to the FAA, a Lancair 320 allegedly entered the temporarily restricted airspace Saturday afternoon. The plane was flying from Boca Raton to DeLand.

On Sunday morning, FAA officials say a Cessna allegedly entered the restricted flight area. The plane landed at Okeechobee Airport....(duh HuffyPost. 2/18/2013)

speaking of brainwashed....
TODAY’S Republicans are very good at tending the fire of Ronald Reagan’s memory but not nearly as good at learning from his successes. They slavishly adhere to the economic program that Reagan developed to meet the challenges of the late 1970s and early 1980s, ignoring the fact that he largely overcame those challenges, and now we have new ones. It’s because Republicans have not moved on from that time that Senators Marco Rubio and Rand Paul, in their responses to the State of the Union address last week, offered so few new ideas.
When Reagan cut rates for everyone, the top tax rate was 70 percent and the income tax was the biggest tax most people paid. Now neither of those things is true: For most of the last decade the top rate has been 35 percent, and the payroll tax is larger than the income tax for most people. Yet Republicans have treated the income tax as the same impediment to economic growth and middle-class millstone that it was in Reagan’s day. House Republicans have repeatedly voted to bring the top rate down still further, to 25 percent.
A Republican Party attentive to today’s problems rather than yesterday’s would work to lighten the burden of the payroll tax, not just the income tax. An expanded child tax credit that offset the burden of both taxes would be the kind of broad-based middle-class tax relief that Reagan delivered. Republicans should make room for this idea in their budgets, even if it means giving up on the idea of a 25 percent top tax rate.

ImaginaryDave, Fairies don't place cash beneath your pillow each time a tooth is lost and oil is not grown.

As another famous person once said, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?".

Capitalism delivers most often. Synthetic Oils have been around for many decades. Necessity is the Mother of Invention and not the Boy Messiah.

Lubricants will be needed for the foreseeable future aside from combustible fuel for ICE's. The Jerk-In-Chief knows nothing about economics but can sing a mean Al Green facsimile. He thinks that this qualifies him to fake everything else.

Young Libertarians Converge on DC, State Barely Survives
....There were not one but two tapings of “Stossel” on Saturday (episode to air Thursday), the Fox Business show hosted by the former 20/20 reporter who stopped winning Emmys when he became a libertarian. The producers keep the guests–a mix of libertarian icons and statist scapegoats–secret until the last minute but the lineup is always interesting. The single most entertaining moment of last year’s conference was watching John Bolton face a roomful of livid hostility. Though the students missed the chance to inquire about his support for the since-delisted terrorist group MEK–what better way to illustrate Bush-era civil liberties abuses by pointing out the possibility that a former UN ambassador had violated the PATRIOT Act?–it was nice to see him get asked the sort of questions he never gets as a Fox News contributor.

no problem.

Bushism Killed Reaganism

.... the Bush-era GOP failed and was seen to have failed across the board. Reagan’s policies came to be associated with economic recovery and overall foreign policy competence, and on both counts Bush’s policies trashed his party’s reputation as trustworthy stewards.

http://www.theamericanconservative.com/lariso...

As Bushism replaced and in some respects repudiated Reaganism, it also destroyed the public’s confidence in Republican governance.
