Given that the state of Virginia voted to leave the Union, the half that didn't leave the union was the recognized state in the government of the United States. The government of the United States didn't recognize the state government of the half that left the union, justifiably so.
So, that half that remained in the union was the legitimate representation of the state of Virginia that could petition the government in accordance with the Constitution be become a separate state.
Unless you consider the half of Virginia that left the union was still the legitimate representation within the federal republic.
If you consider the government of the half of Virginia that left the union as the legitimate representation in the federal republic, then the creation of the state of West Virginia was unconstitutional.
If you consider the half of Virginia that didn't leave the federal republic and the legitimate representation in the federal republic, then the requirements of the Constitution were satisfied.
Virginia was never recognized by the U.S. government as having 'left' the union. Seems to me we fought a war to preserve the union and all the states therein. So there goes that argument.

I love it. you right whiners keep telling us that businesses can't make it if they have to pay more than the minimum wage and then bitch because those working minimum wage sill qualify for government programs like food stamps.
You don't subsidize anything for me.

Or, I could be wrong. But, you still haven't been able to find anything to support that propaganda lie invented by the Democrats that oil companies receive "subsidies".

Well, where is that information?

And, if you're still making minimum wage after a year or so of working, that's all you're worth... if that much.

Get rid of the minimum wage. A person should get paid what they are worth. Why should an employer be forced to pay more for the same worthless employee?

This is just another Marxist idea from the Democrats to spread the wealth created and earned by people who work for a living to those who refuse to do anything for themselves.

Get rid of the minimum wage entirely. Pay a person in accordance with what they are worth.

The only way West Virginia could satisfy the Constitutional requirement is if the Virginia state legislature voted to allow them to become a state -

Hmm. Karl Rove's efforts to have slightly fewer crackpots in his party do not yet seem to be having any effect. Current crackpot Georgia Rep. Paul Broun has decided to run for Senate, in fact, under the ardent belief that being a crackpot is a much-sought political skill. His latest fundraising letter is a piece of work:

You see, President Obama and Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid control the Senate with an iron fist.

[T]hey have repeatedly used it to ram their agenda down the throats of the American people, running roughshod over the Constitution and your freedoms.[…]

I was the first Member of Congress to call him a socialist who embraces Marxist-Leninist policies like government control of health care and redistribution of wealth.[…]

Just about every week, my friends and closest allies congratulate me and genuinely thank me for telling the truth of just how messed up this country has become under President Obama.

In addition to his observation that government is positively riddled with Marxist-Leninist policies, he also boasts of his close ties to the now-booted Allen West and the self-booted Jim DeMint. I think most objectionable, however, is his inability to craft any paragraph longer than one sentence. It's like a very angry children's book. It's like crackpot haiku. Damn it, Georgia, teach your legislators how to write—even crazy voters deserve better than this.

I don't get all the excitement.

If you look at an older plotter where a stylus deposited ink in two dimensions based on computer controls. Add height & have your stylus deposit a composite material instead of ink.

You have to have a program for every part perhaps generated by a cad system.

I can see the use in industry to produce parts that do not have huge quantity demands as I would think injection molding would be cheaper.

As for home use, other than perhaps for an artist or a craft application, I don't see it.

Its like a potter's wheel, unless you love to do it or sell your pieces at the local festivals, there are only so many pots & vases you need.

Tuesday night Obama was targeting the Low IQ voter!! Obama promised,“Let me repeat--nothing I’m proposing tonight should increase our deficit by a single dime.” Let’s not forget Obama’s nominee for Secretary of Treasury’ Lew’ made a similar promise as the president’s budget director when he told Congress the budget "would not add to the debt of the United States!!

Now the Facts, Five of the things Obama propose on Tues will cost the Taxpayers over 1 trillion dollars adding to the deficits and of course Lew was wrong… the US debt is over 16 trillion and counting!!
