John Galt wrote: Coming to America Under Obama: CARACAS, Venezuela (AP)— Venezuela's government announced Friday that it is devaluing the country's currency, a long-anticipated change expected to push up prices in the heavily import-reliant economy. Officials said the fixed exchange rate is changing from 4.30 bolivars to the dollar to 6.30 bolivars to the dollar. The devaluation had been widely expected by analysts in recent months, though experts had been unsure about whether the government would act while President Hugo Chavez remained out of sight in Cuba recovering from cancer surgery. It was the first devaluation to be announced by Chavez's government since 2010, and it pushed up the price of the dollar against the bolivar by 46.5 percent. By boosting the bolivar value of Venezuela's dollar-denominated oil sales, the change is expected to help ease a difficult budget outlook for the government, which has turned increasingly to borrowing to meet its spending obligations. But analysts said the move would not be sufficient to end the government's budget woes or balance the exchange rate with an overvalued currency. Economists predicted higher inflation and a likely continuation of shortages of some staple foods, such as cornmeal, chicken and sugar. Cornmeal-Chicken and Sugar? Oh My! Brilliant find John__lemme guess WND?

You're even further left than the ACLU. Didn't you get the memo, libtard? "On October 19, 2011, the ACLU submitted a Freedom of Information Act request seeking information about the targeted killings of three U.S. citizens in Yemen: Anwar al-Awlaki; his 16-year-old son, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki; and Samir Khan." http://www.aclu.org/national-security/anwar-a ... Idiots like you made a big deal out of waterboardng, but killing American citizens .. A N D - --> their 16 year old kids <-- you defend. - Bush questionbly stetches the law by pouring water on "known terrorists" face "to get information to save life" = Democrats in an uproar and politisizng the war. - Obama absolutely stetches the law by becoming judge, jury and EXECUTIONER, also kills 16 year old boy and another guy = Democrats defending Obama the clown. You are a POS, clown.

PDUPONT wrote: <quoted text> Okay, let's go over the salient facts one more time. Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan were engaged in hostile acts against the United States aiding and abetting Al Qaeda and actively recruiting terrorists. In taking these actions they essentially renounced their citizenship. Capturing them and bringing them to trial was not a viable option due to where they ensconced themselves. Allowing them to continue these hostile actions was also not a viable option. Awlaki's son was travelling with a group of Al Qaeda operatives when he was killed and there's no evidence that he was intentionally targeted . When you travel with a bad crowd sometimes bad things happen to you. There's never been any evidence that water boarding ever produced useful intelligence. But more importantly you're creating a false equivalency between someone already in custody and no longer a danger and someone actively avoiding capture and still a menace. A police officer can and in fact has the duty to use deadly force against a suspect resisting arrest and deemed to be a danger to the public. Once a suspect is in custody the rules change and the individual has certain rights under the Constitution. When you're arguing with waxturd you have to realize that his objective isn't truth, its taking the most idiotic position possible to garner attention. In this case if Obama HADN'T ok'd the attack then waxturd and his loony friends would be screaming "Where was Obama when we had the chance to take out Anwar al-Awlaki?". Sound familiar?

John Galt wrote: Critics of voter ID and other laws cracking down on voter fraud claim they’re unnecessary because fraud is nonexistent. For instance, Brennan Center attorneys Michael Waldman and Justin Levitt claimed last year:“A person casting two votes risks jail time and a fine for minimal gain. Proven voter fraud, statistically, happens about as often as death by lightning strike.” Well, lightning is suddenly all over Cincinnati, Ohio. The Hamilton County Board of Elections is investigating 19 possible cases of alleged voter fraud that occurred when Ohio was a focal point of the 2012 presidential election. A total of 19 voters and nine witnesses are part of the probe. Democrat Melowese Richardson has been an official poll worker for the last quarter century and registered thousands of people to vote last year. She candidly admitted to Cincinnati’s Channel 9 this week that she voted twice in the last election. This is how Channel 9′s website summarized the case: According to county documents, Richardson’s absentee ballot was accepted on Nov. 1, 2012 along with her signature. On Nov. 11, she told an official she also voted at a precinct because she was afraid her absentee ballot would not be counted in time. “There’s absolutely no intent on my part to commit voter fraud,” said Richardson.... The board’s documents also state that Richardson was allegedly disruptive and hid things from other poll workers on Election Day after another female worker reported she was intimidated by Richardson.... During the investigation it was also discovered that her granddaughter, India Richardson, who was a first time voter in the 2012 election, cast two ballots in November. Richardson insists she has done nothing wrong and promises to contest the charges:“I’ll fight it for Mr. Obama and for Mr. Obama’s right to sit as president of the United States.” And of course, your prized voter photo ID law would not have stopped this. There is not significant voter fraud that a photo ID would prevent, And you f*cking idiots bring up cases where a photo ID would not prevent.
