Dems increased lead in Senate, picked up 8 seats in the House.
Bush lost the first election to Gore by half a million votes. DUH
Bush won the second election with 50.7% over Kerry's 48.3%
Bush recieved 47.9% of the vote in 2000, compared to Gore's 48.4%.
The only President in history to need the Supreme Court to put him in office!! And this after he lost the election!!
Point being, Obama won both his elections with over 50% of the popular vote, the first since Eisenhower to do so.

And Bush today is a lonely alcoholic sitting in Dallas, getting drunk all day!!
Suck on that for awhile, toothless one!!

Obama only got 51%? Even less than in 2008? I wonder why. NOT! LOL

Want to stop the drug problem? Go to the source. Ban the manufacture of oxycontin, who make billions, legally. Stop the importation of heroin and cocaine; it could be done, but it won't because drugs and arms make the world go around. One finances the other, and you, are a dummy.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/fl-mugshots-bill-...
In her booking mugshot, Barbara J. De Paolo, then 79, has puffy, sad eyes. Her face is washed out in the glare of the camera flash at the Palm Beach County Jail.
Arrested in 2011 in Boca Raton, she was facing charges she beat her elderly husband. She spent only one night in jail, and the case never went forward. Her husband died two months later, and De Paolo tried to moved on.
But her face and the cause of her arrest are etched online, splattered across the first page of a Google search. Numerous websites aggregate booking mugs from across the country, then leave them there even after suspects have been acquitted. To have the pictures removed can cost hundreds of dollars, say people lobbying against the sites.
The problem moved a St. Petersburg-area lawmaker. Rep. Carl F. Zimmermann, D-Palm Harbor, filed a bill Monday that would require websites to remove the information of acquitted suspects within 15 days or face fines.
"At that point, this type of information becomes libel," Zimmermann said. He called it extortion that the websites charge a fee for taking the pictures down.
(I agree, think that people should have the right to privacy, especially if they are not convicted)
You don't really expect them to take all of your mugshots off the internet, do you?

Man shot dead in confrontation over loud music

A pre-dawn confrontation over loud music playing from a car led to the fatal shooting of a man in an apartment complex parking lot Thursday.

Two off-duty security guards, one of whom lives at the Whispering Palms apartments at 4530 NW 36th St., confronted a man in his 20s about loud music coming from his car shortly before 3:15 a.m., the Broward Sheriff's Office said.

The men told investigators that the victim reached in the direction of one guard's gun and the second guard, fearing for their safety, shot him, according to Broward Sheriff's spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion.

A woman who said she was the victim's roommate said the shooting was not justified.

"Loud music doesn't give anyone a right to kill someone," said Taby Woodard, 20.

Extremism in the Defense of Tradition

Auster’s blog, View from the Right, contains more than 20,000 entries and comments. A generation hence, an American studies student looking for a window into radical right-wing disillusion with post-millennial America could do far worse in dissertation topics than exploring the work of this idiosyncratic figure.

The military draft is slavery and a terrible idea, but if it is reinstated, then women should be drafted in equal numbers with men.
