I feel sad for them because many are Vietnam war veterans who returned with drug problems, mental health issues, ptsd, etc and were maybe rejected by their familes etc. However, if that person just chose to be homeless, I say, let them be. At least in Florida, there is food growing, oranges etc. and the weather is good, so they're not freezing to death.
Some of the Vietnam era veterans were fkd up before they entered the military lily. Many draft boards weren't very particular how they went about fulfilling their quotas and you may recall that judges would often forgo jail and even prison sentences for those who would enlist for military service.

Many troubled-homeless vets from that era did not serve in combat roles and some didn't even serve in Vietnam thus the term Vietnam "era" veterans.

No, why do you ask? John Edwards is a very wealthy man, I'm sure he is not a deadbeat dad, he may be an ahole with women, but not with his children.
Are you defending Walsh not paying child support? His exwife may have to go on welfare and medicaide then.
Why are you so stupid Jane? Why?
Ex-wives should be required to provide documentation that child support payments are spent solely on the child and not on the ex-wife.

Very true. Some even want to spread light reflecting dust into our atmosphere just to block the sun while ignoring other much more serious problems such as all the hot air emanating from the White House.

The American people should ask this President “What Have You Done for Me Lately’ Nothing ‘and it seems to have worked, four more years’ How?’ There’s a quote:’ There’s A Sucker Born Every Minute’ and they all reside in the Liberal/Democratic Party!!

It was a different story when Bush enacted the homeland security laws listening in to every convo and communication searching for terrorists. Funny how the worm turns, now its offensive because Obama is in charge. The difference between him and Bush is that he actually is getting the bad guys, not talking about it.
What makes Obama more offensive is the escalation of persecution via drone surveillance of every move we make outdoors. On the heels of that will be something similar to Orwell's in-residence monitoring. Why else is there the recent question of whether the government should make wifi free to every U.S. home? Obama goes too far, and it's not about "the peoples'" safety, it's all about protecting him and the other elitist pigs that rule over us.

The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you know nothing about. In the age of information...Ignorance is your choice. Stupid is not what you do, it's who you are. Yet, your lack of creativity (cut & paste) is your lack of intelligence still having fun.

torture never polled like that.
So, an American citizen need only be a "suspected" terrorist to be executed at the command of Hussein Obama?

Sounds like due process.

As long as you don't demand taxpayer subsidies for these projects, you have every right to do so.
Exactly. I wouldn't want to be beholden to the tax payer in the first place for that. Innovation doesn't require subsidy.

The Tragic End of Bush's North Korea Policy

John Bolton

Maskirovka – the Soviet dark art of denial, deception and disguise – is alive and well in Pyongyang, years after the Soviet Union disappeared. Unfortunately, the Bush administration appears not to have gotten the word.

With much fanfare and choreography, but little substance, the administration has accepted a North Korean "declaration" about its nuclear program that is narrowly limited, incomplete and almost certainly dishonest in material respects. In exchange, President Bush personally declared that North Korea is no longer a state sponsor of terrorism or an enemy of the United States. In a final flourish, North Korea has undertaken a reverse Potemkin Village act, destroying the antiquated cooling tower of the antiquated Yongbyon reactor. In the waning days of American presidencies, this theater is the stuff of legacy.
