"Death panel" is, perhaps, a hyperbole.
The truth is there will be government-appointed persons who will advise physicians in determining quality of life over cost ratio for treatments and procedures.
You can see the connection. The government will be the main health care insurer at the taxpayers' expense, and they will want to keep costs down.
By this panel's refusal to fairly compensate Medicare doctors, the market will dry up and finding a Medicare Doctor will become impossible for many older Americans. This is "cost savings" for the system. I have personally spoken with physicians who say just what I wrote above.

The expression "Death Panel" may be seen as hyperbole and pooh-poohed by Liberal snakes but the effect will be the same.

Liberal/Socialist Rule: NEVER call things what they are but find some harmless sounding replacement for it.

"Efficiency Panel" sounds a lot better than "Death Panel" for elder care.

Then you claim that the waxturd and judge-it stuff is boring. Big surprise, waxturd awarded you 14 brilliants for this. You right wingers feed on the phony stroking from the likes of Karl Rove and waxturd types in your fantasy world.
Boring is boring, left or right.

<quoted text>I've heard too many sad stories recently from people whose elderly relatives have been receiving less than compassionate care from their primary physicians. "Care" that has resulted in deaths that could have easily been prevented. Too many times I've heard them say that the so-called doctor's excuse for not doing a necessary procedure was that the patient was too *old*. Adequate care is supposed to be "age neutral".
Put yourself in the doctor's position. Would you perform a high-risk procedure on an elderly person if that procedure was likely to result in a malpractice lawsuit?

Not their man, Dood. They want to fool all the people all the time.
There is always a little give away on this forum when someone posts right on the money, it gets flooded with negative judge it's from the waxman & co and posts calling anyone a socialist is marked as brilliant. That in itself is a dead give away, that means you are all shooting blanks. Kinda like the NRA blaming video games and teachers not packing as the reason for mulitple gun shot deaths.

Federal Court Indicts President Obama Will not see end of his second term

Published on Jan 30, 2013
On January 25th, 2013 , Mr. Lyndon Larouche, a well respected journalist and political activist recieved word from his sources within the United States government that President Barack Hussein Obama has been indicted by a Federal Court. Details of the indictment has been omitted by Larouche but he characterized them as probably the greatest indictment he has ever seen placed upon a standing president throughout history.

This reminds me of what property managers call a "constructive eviction", IOWs, make living in the unit so miserable that the tenant will gladly move of their own volition; no threats necessary. I think they (Obama's death cult) are hoping more elderly will kill themselves rather than drag out the "Golden Years". After all, why should a progressive regime waste precious resources on those "as good as dead already" and past their usefulness? Surely the elderly can see the logic in this concept?

Too bad King Obama doesn't have to endure the same medical care that his subjects do.

I think if the elderly patient is willing to take the chance then they should get the procedure. You have to consider the quality of life the patient would have if they were denied care. If they have a chance at getting better then they deserve it, lawsuit be damned. Doctors have massive insurance that covers that. I'd rather someone attempt to sue me after I'd tried to help than after I'd refused to help. I believe that a decent doctor with good intentions would come out on top more often than not in those sort of situations.

The problem is that a huge judgment will result in a huge increase in insurance premiums, or inability to obtain insurance at all. Furthermore, normally accepted standards of medical practice (the criteria for malpractice) might dictate that certain procedures would not be indicated in patients above a certain age or with certain conditions. It would be irresponsible to perform such procedures even if the patient was willing to take the risk.

I recall a European country during WWII that was known for bragging about its talent for efficiency which also included efficient Gas Chambers, ovens and removal of cremation remains.

The Boy Messiah can't possibly fund Obamacare in any normal government way so efficiencies need to be increased dramatically.
Those citizens below, say, 60 years of age pay one helluva lot more in taxes than the spent nobodies draining away government resources and revenues. We've all heard about how unfair it is to coming generations that they be heavily taxed for SS benefits that they'll never live to see. It makes a young person angry that they should be forced to support those old bags. Let them die. I've got kids, a wife, a mortgage to take care of, they say. Obama's right. Let them die off. They've already had their chance. I haven't.

Imagery does have a certain logic to it at times but the process is nearly everything when it comes to understanding it.

A Rump Roast presents a terrorizing image inside the slaughterhouse, a somewhat more appealing image in the supermarket display case, and finally a delicacy with wonderful taste and aroma at dinner time.

So, also, is it with a painting, sculpture, musical score and brain surgery. A rough entrance is a necessary start to a final gem cut to perfection.

Maybe you just caught me midstream in the process this time:]

John Kerry says that President Obama offered him the secretary of state job a week before Susan Rice publicly pulled out of the running for the job.

“He called me, actually a week before Susan got out of the thing,” Kerry tells the Boston Globe.“He called me and said,‘You’re my choice. I want you to do this.’ He asked me to keep it quiet. I did. I sat on it.”

At the time, Rice pulling out of the running for the top State Department job suggested that the position had simply fallen to Kerry, who had been in a neck-and-neck competition for the job. Now it seems that the White House allowed Susan Rice, the ambassador to the United Nations, to publicly save face by publicly withdrawing from a job that was never going to be offered to her in the first place.

Rice had come under fire for misleading the American public about what really happened in the terror attack against Americans on September 11 in Benghazi, Libya.

This is a big fat gray area of morals and ethics. Sure, you don't perform a Knee-Joint Replacement or Lung Transplant on a feeble 90 year old. But, then again, that same 90 year old should have access to some sort of legal advocate to help make those types of decisions for them, too. A doctor whose only seeks profit from elderly patients is a predator and one who seeks to alleviate suffering is truly a professional.

In the middle of all this sits an ambulance chasing lawyer. The older a person gets, the more the circling wolves close in around a dying campfire....

I would remind those brainwashed youth that those elders deserved the medicare that they had paid into throughout their years of employment. It seems that every generation will pay for Obama's Obamacare, which is, at the very least, an oxymoron. It's not right that we are paying more for less. The man seems determined to kill natural affection between the generations, trying to turn us against those we should care for the most.

Strange how the elderly are last on his list of recipients of his redistribution of wealth agenda. If the U.S. can afford to give away billions of dollars to other countries for natural disasters that haven't happened yet then there has to be plenty of money to support our own needy, elderly citizens. Obama's priorities are skewed beyond belief.

Cutting someone's life short from neglect will cause more lawsuits than doctors who are trying to save lives.

I know of one persons granny dying because a doctor wouldn't even give her decent care concerning a simple digestive blockage, constipation. The poor woman could have lived in relative comfort for another 20 years if not for being treated with so little respect for her life. Her intestines ended up rupturing and on going to the er they still ended up by giving her Tylenol and sending her home without even xraying her. She went to another ER the next morning and they finally did surgery on her. She had to spend almost an entire month in the hospital after having been cut open from pelvis to clavicle to have fecal matter removed from all of her body. Her family was distraught that after having gone through all of that her doctor refused to close up a stint hole that needed it. She had to deal with feces coming out every time she ate. It ended up infected. Big surprise there. She never should have had to endure all the crappy "care" she did if they had simply taken care of her right when she first sought help. I hope her family does sue the first creep that sent her home with Tylenol. She was 80, but didn't have any chronic diseases like Diabetes or HB and could have lived to be 100 with decent care. Some people treat their dogs better than they do the elderly; people like the Obamas. It's shameful.

I suppose the facts in the post upset you. Here it is again:
(Opinion) It looked like Obama was staring her down, like threatening her to regurgitate the obviously phoney Democrat party line.
But, if you recall the Vincent Foster incident, looking through all the obvious lies from Bill Clinton,
FACT and that so-called "suicide note" that had the part of the paper where a signature would have been put
FACT mysteriously ripped out. Not to mention that
FACT the body was dumped at the front entrance to the CIA headquarters at Langley.
(Opinion) It seems to me they blew Vincent Foster's head off right in front of her to make a point. If you noticed, before they blew Vincent Foster's head off,
FACT Hillary was a major mouthpiece. You couldn't shut her up. Immediately after they blew Vincent Foster's head off,
FACT she shut up and you didn't hear a peep out of her again until the Democrats rewarded her with a Senate seat from New York.
(Opinion) I think that game is still being played. She look actually scared on that show.
She looked as scared as Sam Nunn did when
FACT Bill Clinton launched a sneak attack on Haiti while
FACT he, Colin Powell and Jimmy Carter were actually in the house of the dictator Clinton was invading to depose.
(Opinion) You can bet they immediately took them down into the basement and put guns to their heads.
(Opinion) The way I see it, Colin Powell made a call to the Pentagon and talked with someone who
FACT turned that invasion around... against the orders of the president.
(Opinion) Otherwise, they would have just put a bullet in their heads as soon as the invasion arrived.
I recall watching those three
FACT appear with Clinton immediately after.
FACT Jimmy Carter's eyes looked like he had just seen a photo of Rosie O'Donnel naked.
FACT Sam Nunn was very obviously shaken, probably had shitinhispants.
FACT Colin Powell was the only composed one of the three. And
FACT Clinton was putting on the satisfied smile, like he had when they blew Vincent Foster's head off.
(Opinion) Hillary knows the reality of what party she belongs. She's afraid.
... and rightfully so.
You're just bat sh!t crazy DB. First of all there was no suicide note. A torn draft resignation was found in Foster's briefcase but being a draft wouldn't have had a signature anyway.
Second, the body was not dumped at the entrance to CIA headquarters, it was found at Ft. Marcy Park three miles to the south. Physical evidence gathered and photographed by the United States Park police show that Vince Foster killed himself at the spot where the body was discovered. Blood spatter, the amount of blood at the scene and discovered in the body bag when the body arrived at the morgue eliminates any possibility that the body was dumped.
www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/specia...
The rest of your fantasy is just that a delusional pipe dream without any factual basis.

Al Qaeda didn't bomb our embassy in Turkey imbecile, it was the Revolutionary People's Liberation Army-Front (DHKP-C), a totally different organization.
