Ehhh, your Fox scare tactics don't wash, I think current unemployment levels represent the fat that had accumulated during the credit boom. American corporations, as an aggregate, are posting record profits. 7.8% may be the new 5% for a generation or more.
You're correct about the fat, but there is still a lack of growth in the economy that is causing sustained high unemployment.

Accepting 7.9% unemployment is unacceptable.

To correct the erroneous information you received in your indoctrination session, Clinton vetoed the welfare reform legislation, and Congress had to override his veto.
At the time, there was no need for radical spending cuts because there was nothing wrong with the size of government then, thanks to a Republican Congress.
That's not true today. The Democrats have needlessly created a Godzilla of a government that obviously needs to be put on a diet and have gastric bypass surgery and liposuction and appendages cut off and... etc., etc., etc.
There is no part of the government the Democrats created that doesn't need to have drastic cuts made.
Wrong again, Clinton vetoed two earlier versions but signed the last. There was no overturned veto.

Keep trying, I'll let you know if you get something correct.

i think people who are underemployed, college grads with no shot at ever moving out of their parents' basement and the new world order of part-time only employees would kind of resent being called "the fat." But hell, Social Security Disability for life is THE new career path, similar to when everyone wanted to be in IT.

Surely you mean Al Queda killed 3,000 people in the WTC before Bush realized Al Queda existed!!
Had Dubya listened to the FBI, CIA, or Clinton's team, 9-11 would not have happened.
But he didn't, and it did!!
Why was Bush never put on trial for failing to protect our Nation??
Why do you continue to defend a failed President, the worst in American History, according to most Americans??
And you remain blissfully ignorant!!

No No No.

Obama is the blame for everything in Benghazi because he is President, but Bush wasn't the blame for anything when he was President.

Its all in the Dumbwaiter's book of fantasies.

Existence of dinosaurs and massive glaciers gives a clue that the Earth has been both warmer and cooler than at present, by substantially greater margins than the temperature variations over the last few hundred years.

The current "climate change" is just minor noise on the history of the Earth.

Here, on Earth, we have a different history.
The recession was caused by the Democrats' Marxist equal-outcome subprime housing mortgage underwriting program that collapsed the economy after two years of oversight by Democrats Dodd in the Senate and Frank in the House.
But, that's what happens when the Very Silly Party like the Democrats puts a person who throws his male page off his New York hotel balcony and runs a male prostitution racket out of his house in charge of overseeing financial services in the country.
Ya see Real Dave, the congressional majority was completely helpless against one member of the minority party. That's the way its done on DBWronger's Earth. Of course, the sky is pink on his Earth too.

Perhaps you can reference revenue figures to back your billshit up:

Then explain to us what the Democrats did to that declining 0.16 (that's zero point one six) trillion dollar deficit after they took control of all the purse strings of government in January, 2007.
Did you say they increased the deficit ONE THOUSAND GODDAM PERCENT?
List?

Where is that GD list of legislation the Democrats passed in the first 9 months of 2007 that created this recession.

And really, too f*cking dumb to know the difference between a budget deficit and total deficit?

You know like when you run two wars off budget?????

You meant to say the unemployment rates was 4.5% or below for 13 months of the 96 months Bush was President, right.
In Jan of 2001. Bush inherited a 4.2% rate & a balanced budget.
Yup, 4.2% when he took office and 7.8% and rising when he left.

Doesn't fit the mythology though.

Divorce tends to reduce the economic standing of both parties, which might affect their voting patterns.

Will you learn how to read. Flack predicts 49ers to win, to date Flack has been wrong on everyone of his predictions. If Flack says 49ers will win then the Ravens are a lock. Homer just going with the easy money.

That's funny Jane; you keep talking about people living on disability; that's a fallacy propogated by rightwingers like you to prescribe to the Reagan welfare queen myth.

I personally know a person who really was disabled due to an accident who applied for disability; it's not an easy task, can take years and the amount would not have been enough to sustain a person, it would have been something around $500 a month. He just dropped it and said forget it. You're such a lying swine, that it's almost pathetic.

The reason that employers are offering parttime employment is because of greed. The corporations that you revere, who find the funds to pay the CEO's millions in compensation. To their employees, they give nothing.
