The government has been funded by continuing resolutions since Obama took office, idiot. In case you've been in a coma the past 4 years, we haven't had a budget since Obama darkened the White House doors with his shadow.<quoted text>
Meanwhile, in the real world ... the Republican House has increased spending by more than $350 billion since taking over in Jan. 2011. The strange thing is the government's been funded by continuing resolution since then. So, there has to be active legislation to spend money. In the GOP House the Hastert Rule says that no bill can be put up for a vote without support from the "majority of the majority". In other words, all that spending has to be approved by a majority of Republicans before it is even brought up for a vote.
With all this chest thumping from the right about how much Democrats suck, keep in mind that its lies like this make the Republicans suck even worse.
If you want to see the actual spending since the Democrats took over all the purse strings of government in January, 2007, just look here:
You'll disciver that the completely out of control spending began coincident with the Democrats taking control of all the purse strings of government in January, 2007.
By the way, why did every single goddam Democrat member of Congress vote against all two of the budgets Obama submitted of the four he was supposed to submit?
You do realise that this means every single Democrat in Congress thinks Obama is an idiot, don't you?
