Barack Obama, our next President

Full story: Hampton Roads Daily Press

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ...

If I remember correctly it is up to the state governments to ratify or repeal an amendment not the people. Most state governments are republican held right now I believe. It would need 2/3 of the states I think.

Right, but the Stupid Party(Republican) as Bobby Jindal has labeled the Republican Party has been for repeal of the 22th amendment too even when Reagan was president which both parties have been for repeal for years. On January 4, 2013, Rep. José Serrano(D-NY) once again introduced H.J.Res. 15 proposing an Amendment to repeal the 22nd Amendment, as he has done every two years since 1997

Obama never mentioned global warming, nitwit.
There is no such term used today.
But you've had your head stuffed up your butt for so long, it's probably the last thing you remember.
Most Americans believe the science. Yu believe the deniers.
Guess which attitude helped win the election??
Your denying lost big time among the voting public.
I think that's part of the 'stupid' that Bobby Jindal and Haley Barbour say your side needs to get rid of.
Sorry that Bobby called you stupid.
Global warming...climate change...same difference.

"We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations."

The funny thing is the climate has been changing since the beginning of time. Obama, bless his heart, can't change that.

You're wrong. Is this more of you rspeculating, as you did when you said Lanza used a handgun to kill the children??

You believe all sorts of crap you hear from your right wing sources.

But it's still crap.

You'll see in 2014.

"But the president's signature health care plan has become so fraught with politics that whether governors agreed to set up the exchanges has fallen mostly along party lines.

Such partisanship is largely symbolic because if a state opts not to set up the exchange, the Department of Health and Human Services will do it for them as part of the federal program. That would not likely be well-received by Republican governors, either, but the law forces each state's chief executive to make a decision one way or the other."

What economic failure imbecile? You mean like bringing the Dow from around 6500 when he took office to yesterday's 13895.98? Like three years of private sector job growth and record low levels of unemployment claims? New home sales the highest since 2009.
According to your criteria only someone to the right of Heinrich Himmler is a true Republican and even Ronald Reagan wouldn't make the cut.
You're an idiot!
Economist Nouriel Roubini told CNBC:

"The damage will be widespread if we don't have enough job creation and there's not enough labor income. Therefore, there's not enough consumption and consumer companies are going to be depressed. Therefore, the recovery is going to remain weak. The markets are expecting now a robust recovery in the second half of the year. I think the recovery is going to disappoint on the downside."

Hey dingleberry I said they can set up the exchanges but they don't have the power to make you buy insurance or tax you if you don't.

OK - then go ahead and explain the difference between climate change and glowbull warming libtard.

I'll give you a hint:

It changed to "Climate Change" after it was revealed you on the left were cooking the books and lying.

You should have said you will stick with stupid. That would be an accurate statement.

Yes, I realize they mean different things, but now you never hear the lying left use "glowbull warming" - that is the real difference.

You on the left are simply using a new way of scaring people and Al "Jazera" Gore is using the new words in his huckster routine.

You post crap without links to support what you've said??

How typical.

Why is it that you make up such lies??

If it were true, you'd list the bill and votes. But you pull crap out of your butt, like the Stock Market isn't part of the economy.

BTW, there were several rounds of cuts to Embassy Security since the nitwits took the House in 2011.

So which of the several bills are you referring to??

List the Bill# or AMendment # if you expect to be believed.

There was more than one. DU

It's well known that you'll lie and try to get away with it.

As your stupidity concerning the economy proved.

It's been explained on this and other threads, Flacko is once again a day late and dollar short.

The federal government will set up the exchange, the result is that the nation moves closer to single payer. Some of the (R) governors are pussyfooting around because they face reelection in 2014. The ACA is the law of the land at least until Obama moves on and by then it will be too late to repeal the entire thing. It's my guess that by 2016 the American voters will have discovered enough value in the system to ignore the right wing nonsense.
