Barack Obama, our next President

Full story: Hampton Roads Daily Press

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ...

Your examples paid their 'slaves' room and board, money, whatever, but it freed up their time. Even though they didn't hold the literal power of life and death over them, the premise is the same.
<makes fist, extends middle finger>
So, um, are you the intelligensia in this example or are you just one of the slaves? "Advanced? Advanced?" Um... it appears you've managed to overlook the obvious.

In allllll the history of the world no civilization has managed to survive even a very few centuries. Ours is no exception despite what the President may imply. People are people and, when faced with the big choices they inevitably make the wrong ones, like you do. Over and over and over and over.... the lesson to be drawn from your analogy is much simpler than the one you think you're conveying: people suck at thinking ahead beyond their own immediate needs. The most insightful person on earth knows enough to simply sit down and watch. Any other course will lead inexorably to disaster.

Shut up, fatty. You've got nothing to say of any interest. Go watch TV and pretend you've got anything to say to anyone smarter than a Golden Retriever. Do it. Do it now!!! nobody cared what you had to say when you were young and they certainly haven't got anything to say to you now.

Are you Dweeb's sockpuppet??

Your ignorance and penchant for lying would indicate so.

Or maybe it's because you're just another idiot from Texas, our most polluted state, which is full of idiots!!

Anyhow, to point out your stupidity and backward thinking, here's the latest list of worst Presidents:

1. Franklin D. Roosevelt

2. Theodore Roosevelt

3. Abraham Lincoln

4. George Washington

5. Thomas Jefferson

6. James Madison

7. James Monroe

8. Woodrow Wilson

9. Harry Truman

10. Dwight D. Eisenhower

11. John F. Kennedy

12. James K. Polk

13. William Clinton

14. Andrew Jackson

15. Barack Obama

16. Lyndon B. Johnson

17. John Adams

18. Ronald Reagan

19. John Quincy Adams

20. Grover Cleveland

21. William McKinley

22. George H. W. Bush

23. Martin Van Buren

24. William Howard Taft

25. Chester Arthur

26. Ulysses S. Grant

27. James Garfield

28. Gerald Ford

29. Calvin Coolidge

30. Richard Nixon

31. Rutherford B. Hayes

32. James Carter

33. Zachary Taylor

34. Benjamin Harrison

35. William Henry Harrison

37. John Tyler

38. Millard Fillmore

39. George W. Bush<<<<<< <<<<<!!

40. Franklin Pierce

41. Warren G. Harding

42. James Buchanan

43. Andrew Johnson

You're such a nitwit you don't even know that Beck and Sarah Palin started the whole Birther movement in 2008, with great help from Andrew Brietbart.

Yes, the same Brietbart that made a phony video that destroyed the career of Shirley Serrrod.

He died at 43, a fitting end for a scumbag.

When people say that Barack Obama is the worst president since Jimmy Carter, they’re not kidding; a new Gallup Poll taken between January 7-10 shows that when Americans were asked whether they had a positive view of the country, only 39% agreed!!

? Greatness? They were warlike people who increased their wealth by taking that of others'. That not a sign of a "great" people, that's a sign of insanity. But no matter, now they are gone and their "countries" lie in ruins... literally. How great is that? Nice weather though, I'll give you that. Speaking about greatness, how about Orlando! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha... magnificent! Future peoples will no doubt look back upon Disneyworld with awe of our greatness!

I repeat: if you'd like to see what America is just go back and watch the tape of the inauguration. 43 high school bands banging irritating rhythms on drums, some flashing lights, and the pointless decorations of beribboned soldiers pretending that playing football is the formula for success in life. How great is that? Oh, and Kelly Clarkson screaming into a microphone like a blonde bagpiper.

Uh, no, it wasn't/

"The principle itself was well known of old and had been in use on warships (one of the earliest recorded uses of sloped armour was on early Confederate ironclads, such as the CSS Virginia) and partially implemented on the first French tank, the Schneider CA1 in the First World War, but the first tanks to be completely fitted with sloped armour were the French SOMUA S35 and other contemporary French tanks like the Renault R35, which had fully cast hulls and turrets."

You don't' know much, do you??

Yet you continue to spout off without doing the fact check.
