Barack Obama, our next President

The current Democrat Senate would not convict Obama on impeachment regardless of his actions.
First off, Obama hasn't committed a impeachable act.

Other than your racist hatred for him, he hasn't had anything close to the scandals of Bush or Reagan.

You lose!!

Remember, the right wing nitwits tried the same with Clinton, all it did was ensure his second term and the highest popularity ratings for any President!!

Clonton is still a Rock Star, it's obvious Clinton beat the Republliclowns like the rabid dogs they are.

And Hillary will be your next President!!

I'm lovin' it!!

How do you feel about John Brennan for CIA director?
Interesting guy, plenty smart and fluent in Arabic. I also like Hagel for Defense and Kerry for State.

The CIA is long overdue for some serious revamping__the internet exposes that agency's every move. The fkn contractors are coming back from their, cough, secret missions and writing books__creating websites and doing speaking tours. The deceased contractors families are going on FOX and blaming the POTUS for putting their loved ones in danger__LMAO.

Fluent in Arabic is not easy for an American to do, the fkn language defies all known logic. It's dark age jibberish.

There's no secret. No one loves the idea of drones, however, they have been pretty effective. Would Mitt Romney or any future republican president abolish the use of drones? Or is it that you just have another excuse to whine about the President?
Romney was prepared to deal with the Pakistani government playing both sides of the field and reevaluating their loyalities:

“The U.S. is well aware of terrorists' presence in Pakistan and its border regions and this is a threat to Pakistan and Afghanistan…the situation in Pakistan is an indicator that terrorists are not only attacking Afghanistan but are causing lots of troubles for Pakistan too.”

Romney believed elements of threats originated from Pakistan.

I don't recall Obama saying much about the corruption in Pakistan or consequences if they choose to go against us. But maybe you do.

As far as Afghanistan, in New Hampshire 2011, Romney said this:

“I want those troops to come home based upon not politics, not based upon economics, but instead based upon the conditions on the ground determined by the generals … But I also think we have learned that our troops should not go off and try to fight a war of independence for another nation. Only the Afghanis can win Afghanistan’s independence from the Taliban.”

...Sounds more like what a democrat would say if a conservative president had continued the war this long, doesn't it?

On the subject of drones, Romney agreed that any and all technology should be used to combat this enemy. However, he went on to say:

"We’re also going to have to have a far more effective and comprehensive strategy to help move the world away from terror and Islamic extremism. We haven’t done that yet...You look at the record of the last four years and say is Iran closer to a bomb? Yes. Is the Middle East in tumult? Yes. Is al-Qaida on the run? No. Are Israel and the Palestinians closer to reaching a peace agreement? No, they haven’t had talks in two years. We have not seen the progress we need to have, and I’m convinced that with strong leadership and an effort to build a strategy based upon helping these nations reject extremism, we can see the kind of peace and prosperity the world demands."

Has Obama shown strong leadership in an effort to build a strategy based upon helping nations reject extremism? Just curious.

<quoted text>The Repubs in Congress voted 2 years ago under the Paul Ryan Plan to get rid of Medicare and make it a private system. Medicare would have no problems if it were the universal health care plan for every American based on income. But no way would Repubs ever let that happen when millions can be paid to insurance CEOs for being a middleman.
You Repubs are hypocrites. You bitch about the government ObamaCare plan but turn 65 you all sign up for government ran health care. A lot of VETS bitch about ObamaCare but walk into a VA when they need health care. Why don't you all stand up against this Socialism you hate and pay for your own health needs??????????
Many countries provide universal insurance but deny critical procedures to patients who need them. Britain’s Department of Health reported in 2006 that at any given time, nearly 900,000 Britons are waiting for admission to National Health Service hospitals, and shortages force the cancellation of more than 50,000 operations each year.

http://www.cato.org/publications/commentary/u...

The problem with universal health care is free isn't free.

Liberals continue to ignore the pink elephant - the cost of health care and how to reduce those costs.

Safety nets need repair. No one wants to do away with them.

Obama has definitely accelerated the use of the teleprompter.

But his campaign was fined the most under any president recently for not filing 1200 contributions.

Carol's distaste for drones is puzzling imo. Perhaps she would prefer F-116 A's or A-10's rolling hot on target and inevitably leading to US POW's.
What's even more puzzling is liberals and pseudoliberals seemingly having no problem with them even though they're creating more animosity and resentment towards the U.S.

Here's an execise in perspective: Picture GW Bush being in Obama's shoes right now.

Well, so did Romney. And still got his butt kicked.

Funny thing is corporations don't vote. But cons like to ignore the people. They make a grand entrance of "here I am!" and get disappointed when no one applauds them! And then they wonder why!
