Obama has accelerated the use of drones. That's a fact.
Aaron David Miller, a long-term Middle East policy adviser to both Republican and Democratic administrations, delivered a damning verdict in a recent issue of Foreign Policy magazine. He wrote bluntly: "Barack Obama has become George W Bush on steroids."
The Obama Team Cheerleaders will tell you it's a secret.
lol! He also accelerated the withdrawal of troops...

.... and he accelerated the use of the teleprompter, the internet and grassroots campaigning.

And cons cry about those because they fell behind the times!

Bitch and Moaners cons are!

Islamist forces based in northern Mali vowed Monday to avenge France’s fierce military offensive against them on French soil.
“France has attacked Islam. We will strike at the heart of France,” said a leader of the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO), an offshoot of Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).
Asked where they would strike, Abou Dardar told AFP by telephone:“Everywhere. In Bamako, in Africa and in Europe.”

The Islamist rebels are making some headway in their move towards the capitol in spite of the air strikes. It will take ground troops in a protracted confrontation to eliminate the rebel threat.

That part of Africa (West) consists of what were mostly French colonies, those nations are business friendly with France and tens of thousands of French ex-patriots live in that region. France has a horse in that race.

Your quoting from one of America's biggest losers is hilariously stupid, little girl. Quoting from Alfred E. Neuman would even be a better tactic.
Remember...Jimmy Cahta was the Jerk-In-Chief who publicly claimed he was attacked by a swimming rabbit while canoeing at Camp David.
Sounds like one of your life's experiences, too, lily. Attacked by a racist rat while dumpster-diving, eh?

Perhaps I would not, but others would.
In many states and localities, local police would not cooperate with gun confiscation, nor would the governors call out the National Guard for that purpose.
Use of the military for gun confiscation would be unconstitutional and a political disaster.
All of this is academic because gun control legislation is going nowhere.
Are you really stupid enough to believe that Police would defy a lawful order from their Commanders??

Is that what you're saying??

Yer an idiot. This is a nation of laws, and if they defy a lawful order, they'll be in the same jail cells as the other criminals.

The military can be used for this. Jusrt as Eisenhower used the National Guard to take over in Little Rock, and ordered the State and local police to stand down.

Nice to see you in such a panic over coming gun regulations!!

Far as your stupidity of 'it won't happen', I recall you screaming the same thing about Obama getting re-elected.

How'd that work out for you, nitwit??

The current Democrat Senate would not convict Obama on impeachment regardless of his actions.

You raise a question that no right winger will answer. If the US Government decided to "round up" "execute" or otherwise abuse gun owneres, or any other large segment of the population, who would actually do the rounding up?

Not 'winnable', and sustainable, I'd agree. Being there at all was folly. But staying there is pure folly. But stay we will. For the obvious reasons.
We went to Iraq for nothing but to secure the oil for big mega corporations.

Exxon as of 2012 made $104 MILLION profit every day 7 days per week 365 days per year. The .04 cents is at the gas pump. Most of their income is due to it costing them $2.30/barrel to produce and selling it on the world market at almost $100/barrel.
The next big sell out of America by them is the new found natural gas. In Aug of 2012 they filed for a permit to build the largest LPG port in America. All this new gas that was suppose to get us off import oil all together will be shipped to China.
Drill Baby Drill and Frack Baby Frack helped NO one in America. We were sold out by big oil.
.
WASHINGTON — The Republican Senate blocked an effort to end billions of dollars in tax breaks for the oil industry, brushing aside President Obama's argument that the five big oil companies were doing "just fine" while consumers were struggling with painfully high gasoline prices.

There's no secret. No one loves the idea of drones, however, they have been pretty effective. Would Mitt Romney or any future republican president abolish the use of drones? Or is it that you just have another excuse to whine about the President?
Drones are a good thing when compared to the alternatives. Additionally the vast majority of drone flights are simply for the purpose of gathering intel.

Carol's distaste for drones is puzzling imo. Perhaps she would prefer F-116 A's or A-10's rolling hot on target and inevitably leading to US POW's.
