Impact of New Taxes and Fees

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) includes several new taxes and fees payable in 2014, including two that specifically apply to insured products — the health insurer fee and the reinsurance contribution. These new fees result in additional costs and are reflected in our updated rates for policies that extend into 2014. The overall impact of these costs on this filing is as follows:
* Health Insurer Fee: 1.0%
* Reinsurance Contribution: 0.5%

Note he's completely given up trying to convince anyone that he's an oilman, as he claimed for months.
I caught him in enough lies and lack of facts concerning America's increasing oil production where he's shut up about it.
BTW, 2012 saw the highest oil production in the USA soince 1991.
" Reports from the Energy Department released this week show that overall crude output in the U.S. rose 3.7 percent to 6.5 million barrels per day by the week of September 21, a trend that has continued since the country met 83 percent of its annual energy needs from the beginning of the year through June. Should domestic oil production continue at its current rate, the United States will enjoy 2012 as its most self-sufficient year since 1991.
The increased production is a direct result of the new technologies being implemented by oil companies in an effort to extract crude in locations other than wells, including horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing (fracking); the same technology has taken American natural gas stock levels to new heights.""

What do you think of the insurance idea regarding guns? I think it's a great idea the more I hear about it. Let the insurance companies regulate the gun owners.

Ford in 1974?
I've corrected that lying scumbag a few times on that particular statement and he just keeps posting it. He's talking about the so called Easter Offensive in which First Air Cavalry ground and air assault units participated. The 3rd Brigades 7th Cav didn't leave Vietnam until Oct of 1972, well after Easter.

It was the also the 7th Cav that was first to take on and defeat a large NVA force in Nov 1965 at the Ia Drang Valley in a battle nicknamed "fatal victory" and memorialized in "When We Were Soldiers" a reasonably accurate portrayal of the times.

A new report from DeMint’s own organization suggests that, far from being incompatible with freedom, countries with health care systems with as much or significantly more government control over healthcare are the freest countries in the world.

The report in question is Heritage’s Economic Freedom Index, released annually since 1997. The report defines the concept of “economic freedom” in misleading right-wing terms, but even by those standards, it appears that universal health care systems far more expansive than Obamacare aren’t “fundamentally inconsistent with liberty.” In fact, the ten “freest” economies in 2013 by Heritage’s lights range from mandating individuals save a certain amount of money for health care to almost the entire health care system, including hospitals, being owned and operated by the government:

My goal of course is to shut it down,” Gov. Phil Bryant said after addressing a group of pastors attending a pro-life luncheon Thursday in Jackson.

The governor doesn’t have that authority. Instead, by Friday lawyers representing the state must file a response in federal court to a motion by the Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

Bryant himself doesn’t have the authority to ensure that women in Mississippi are forced to go without a single abortion clinic, but he certainly can move closer to his goal by imposing “Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers”(TRAP) laws with the sole intention of indirectly restricting women’s reproductive rights. TRAP laws have been a successful method of targeting abortion providers in other states, since clinics are often forced to close when they are unable to meet the complicated new standards.

It's a really interesting question you pose Ben? I will.. shoot anyone who enters my home illegally, after Midnight. Who 1st does not identify themselves, by voice or name. 2nd takes more than 3 steps into my front door. If it takes a 10 or more clip magazine, so be it.. I have been awakened by police officers after 1:00am, they didn't break down the door, but told us to leave our home because of a massive fire in the home next door. Police or National Guardsmen identify themselves very loudly, so they aren't shot.

A combination of schizophrenia and FOX induced paranoia. The funny thing about their fantasy civil war is that they haven't stopped to consider WHO they are going to shoot with their assault weapons. Patriots certainly wouldn't shoot agents sent by a constitutional government, would they?
Or maybe, the NRA is the governing body that has replaced the Supreme Court in determining what is constitutional.
