Barack Obama, our next President

... and that explains how the fiscal cliff was averted by eliminating all cuts to government spending and enacting a new tax policy that will generate 600 billion dollars in new taxes over a 10 year period of time... while the government will have a 1.3+ trillion dollar deficit for the foreseeable future with no plan to reduce it.
Let's see what that means....
1.3+ trillion times 10 years... naught plus naught equals naught, carry the naught, minus 600 billion....
No effect at all. The already obscene 16.5 trillion dollar debt about doubles.
An idiot knows this government will collapse.
What then?
Unfreakin' believable.

Send them ALL back to "Arithmetic 101"...for the INEPT.

HELLL OOOO...middle class UHamerikuh....figure it out yet?

----------

High-income families will feel the biggest tax increases, but many middle- and low-income families will pay higher taxes too.

Households making between $40,000 and $50,000 will face an average tax increase of $579 in 2013, according to the Tax Policy Center's analysis. Households making between $50,000 and $75,000 will face an average tax increase of $822.

"For most people, it's just the payroll tax," said Roberton Williams, a senior fellow at the Tax Policy Center.

The tax increases could be a lot higher. A huge package of tax cuts first enacted under President George W. Bush was scheduled to expire Tuesday as part of the "fiscal cliff." The Bush-era tax cuts lowered taxes for families at every income level, reduced investment taxes and the estate tax, and enhanced a number of tax credits, including a $1,000-per-child credit.

On the House floor, Rep. Peter King, a Republican from storm-ravaged Long Island, N.Y., blasted the delay as "indefensible" and said Congress had a "moral obligation" to hold the vote. On Wednesday, he urged New Yorkers to withhold all donations to congressional Republicans in an appearance on Fox News, apparently so hopping mad about the delay that he doesn't mind turning on his own party.

"I’m saying right now, anyone from New York or New Jersey who contributes one penny to congressional Republicans is out of their minds," King said. He even hinted he might jump ship from the Republican Party altogether if they didn't vote soon.

Democrats have been even harsher in their criticism. Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York said in a press conference on Wednesday that he was "infuriated" by a comment from Rep. Darrell Issa, a Republican from California, who said the bill didn't move in the House because it was filled with pork. Schumer said Issa should speak to one of the hundreds of thousands of homeowners who need help repairing their homes and will now face a delay in getting relief.

"Tell that homeowner to his face ... that it's pork," Schumer said. He added that Issa would surely not want to face such a delay if an earthquake hit his home state: "I know he wouldn't say the same thing about California." Schumer added that he now hoped a bill would pass before the end of January, after the inauguration.

Rats on treadmills!!!!!!!

Study gives rats arthritis...

"In an elaborate study of the obvious, University of New England researchers injected rats’ knees with a substance that causes arthritis and then discovered that those rats would run less on their exercise wheels due to chronic pain. As a sad side note, the arthritis seemed to have a larger debilitating effect on those rats that had run more often"

You mean Wall Street Trader Marc Rich who left the country? Speaking of payback, isn't he the one Bill Clinton pardoned. I believe his wife just left the USA and renounced her USA citizenship.

By dumping her U.S. passport, Rich likely will save tens of millions of dollars or more in U.S. taxes over the long haul, tax lawyers say.

Kindly explain how the Republicans turned over to the Democrats in January, 2007, an annual deficit of 0.16 (that's zero point one six) trillion dollars. Then, explain to us what the Democrats did to that 0.16 (that's zero point one six) trillion dollar deficit since January, 2007?
Did you say increase it by ONE THOUSAND PERCENT?
I ALREADY DID EXPLAIN IT... WAIT... 2007? ANYWAYS, THE KEY WORD IN MY POST WAS "SUPPLEMENTALS." THAT'S HOW REPUBLICANS MANAGED TO START TWO WARS AND DESTROY THE ECONOMY WITHOUT ANYONE NOTICING.

THEIR STATED PURPOSE IS AND WAS TO DESTROY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND THIS IS THE MEANS THEY FOUND TO DO IT: START TWO VERY EXPENSIVE CONFLICTS HALFWAY AROUND THE WORLD AND THEN DON'T ALLOCATE ANY MONEY TO PAY FOR THEM. THEN LOWER TAXES! THE RESULTS OF SUCH A PATH ARE SIMPLE AND STRAIGHTFORWARD AND EASY TO PREDICT, BUT THEY ARE NOT IMMEDIATE.

EVERY TIME THERE IS AN ELECTION THE SLATE IS NOT SIMPLY WIPED CLEAN. IF THE GUY BEFORE YOU STARTED TWO UNFUNDED WARS AND THEN GOT THROWN OUT OF OFFICE HIS REPLACEMENT IS STILL OBLIGED TO FIGHT THE SILLY WARS AND PAY THE BILLS.

THE FIGURES YOU CITE AS AN EXAMPLE OF REPUBLICAN FISCAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS ARE THE FIGURES GIVEN TO THAT REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION BY THE SOLVENT CLINTON WHITE HOUSE. THE FIGURES YOU THEN CITE AS AN EXAMPLE OF DEMOCRATIC FISCAL MISMANAGEMENT ARE THE FIGURES CREATED BY THE ASININE BEHAVIOR OF THE BUSH WHITE HOUSE.

YOU ARE LIKE A CHICKEN, APPARENTLY, EACH DAY YOU OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE THE SUN IS A BRAND NEW DAY... ONLY.. THAT MAKES YOU A CHICKEN RATHER THAN A SAGE.

We had a balanced budget under Clinton, tough to put the genie back in the bottle.

Going over the cliff would have meant huge spending cuts and no one, Republican or Democrat wanted that, witness the vote in the Senate - 89 to 8

Homer was all for going over the cliff, cut spending and raise taxes. We're broke.

Schumer rejected the idea that the relief bill was not urgent, even though FEMA is adequately funded for now. On Wednesday he said flood insurance funds are set to run out next week, and that many homeowners are facing more than $100,000 in damage, making the $32,000 FEMA maximum grant inadequate. Some homeowners can't sign repair contracts or get loans before they know the $17 billion in homeowner relief will actually be provided by the government, Schumer added.

The October storm left more than 100 people dead and devastated parts of the Northeast, including New York City.

The backlash is also a reminder that feisty tri-state area politicians do not hold back their anger. Outspoken New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, for one, is scheduled to hold a press conference this afternoon.

And on Wednesday, New York Democratic Rep. Steve Israel told CNN that "we rushed to aid Kabul and Baghdad when they had damage, but when it comes to aid to New York and New Jersey, the House Republican leadership decided we weren't worth it."
