John that's not true. Most of my friends are hunters and many of them and myself also have concealed weapons permits. Some of these gun owners believe as you do that no gun should be banned because they buy into the phony slippery-slope argument. There are also many gun owners like myself that are embarrassed that the NRA has portrayed us all as supporters of semi-automatic assault type guns. There has to be a line drawn somewhere that limits what weapons are available to ANY person that wants one.
It's not just about firearms, but about government intrusion into our private lives and about weakening our Constitutional rights to satisfy popular opinion of the day.

Hunting is not the issue. Many gun owners are not hunters.

Bush had budgets. WTF happened there? Why didn't these budgets prevent us from going from a balance budget to the worst recession in 80 years.
I'm thinking we should go back in time & correct the 2000 election results to the real winner Al Gore.
No devastating tax cuts, paying down the debt, no Afghanistan mess, no Iraq War, possibly no 9-11, no unfunded expansion to medicare.
Wow, a TeaParty heaven. I guess you moronic Tea Partiers are just pretending to be balanced budgets as you support the party that ended them & send us down this path.

There is no denying that the economy is improving everywhere, even the devastated Central Florida housing market is finally showing a pulse and as another poster mentioned the better the economy gets the more revenue flows into the kitty as the UE rate drops.
It's the diabetes.

I'll bet on it. Carol's mood swings are directly related to her blood sugar level.

When it's low, she's mean as a junkyard dog, blaming Obama for everything.

When it's normal, she's Christian Carol, telling all how she blames both sides for the problems.

When her blood sugar is high, she goes off on her 'history lessons'!!LOL

It is much like being bipolar. She may be that, also.

The President wanted to get a tax break to working Americans. The problem being how do you do it.
The payroll tax cut was just a mechanism to accomplish this tax break to working Americans.
The money lost to SS in this tax break was replaced by funds from the general fund.
Social Security did not lose funding.

Raising the debt ceiling yet again, renigging on his promise of a balanced approach (raising taxes AND cutting the budget), the risk of the nation's credit rating being lowered again and the outcry from the military if they get the shaft while reforms in entitlement programs are completely ignored should make all Americans light a fire under his feet.
Especially now since they're going to see even less in their paychecks.

Unfortunately for the rest of us, you don't get to decide which laws are Constitutional.
That is up to the court system.
Unfortunately for Democrats, one of the many brilliant aspects of the Constitution is the fact that it is written so the average person can easily read and understand it.
And, unfortunately for Democrats, roughly half the population rely upon their own understanding of what the Constitution means, and merely tolerates the obvious insanity of congress and the Supreme Court. Sooner or later, the Democrats will have to condition that half of the population to accept unconstitutional government.
That is the reason they procured 750 million rounds of ammunition for the FBI, BATF and DHS. That's about what it will take to condition that half of the population to give up the Constitutional republic.
It's even odds who will win that war. It's a million to one it will be the bloodiest conflict in American history.

On the House floor, Rep. Peter King, a Republican from storm-ravaged Long Island, N.Y., blasted the delay as "indefensible" and said Congress had a "moral obligation" to hold the vote. On Wednesday, he urged New Yorkers to withhold all donations to congressional Republicans in an appearance on Fox News, apparently so hopping mad about the delay that he doesn't mind turning on his own party.
"Iím saying right now, anyone from New York or New Jersey who contributes one penny to congressional Republicans is out of their minds," King said. He even hinted he might jump ship from the Republican Party altogether if they didn't vote soon.
Democrats have been even harsher in their criticism. Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York said in a press conference on Wednesday that he was "infuriated" by a comment from Rep. Darrell Issa, a Republican from California, who said the bill didn't move in the House because it was filled with pork. Schumer said Issa should speak to one of the hundreds of thousands of homeowners who need help repairing their homes and will now face a delay in getting relief.
"Tell that homeowner to his face ... that it's pork," Schumer said. He added that Issa would surely not want to face such a delay if an earthquake hit his home state: "I know he wouldn't say the same thing about California." Schumer added that he now hoped a bill would pass before the end of January, after the inauguration.

Republicans, ugh
The bill is loaded with pork unrelated to the storm.

Is it OK if I drop expensive earthquake insurance on the assumption that the taxpayers will repair the damage in the event of an earthquake?

Couldn't get more stupid than that!!
Bush family is on the Saudi payroll. Has been for decades.
Stay stupid, Waxturd.
Keep making up stories about imaginary children, it suits you better.
See "Saving the Saudis" by Craig Unger__it will make you lose your lunch.

It was, family, friends, friends of friends and Saudi students attending US colleges that were whisked out of the US on chartered airlines mostly on September 13 while all US airspace was closed.

Khalil Bin Ladin (a brother) who lived in Orlando, along with his family and unidentified others flew out of Orlando leaving basically all possessions behind. The POTUS himself authorized these "spayshul" flight clearances.

At many US universities Saudi students without friends in high places went into duck and cover mode often passing as Pakis, Hindus or whatever until they could put the haul azz on it. So much for Saudi pride eh?

Here it is going on a dozen years later and the Saudis are still staying away in droves.

What's the answer, dufus?
Where will the money come from to pay for Obama's government?
The new taxes will only generate an additional 600 billion dollars over 10 years. The government has an annual deficit of 1.3 trillion dollars, with no plan to reduce it.
So, given these irrefutable facts, where will the money come from to pay for Obama's government?
Nobody in the world has answered that question yet.

Where did Bush get his?

I'm thinking that 600 billion over ten years has a much larger effect than the Republican plan of cutting Big Bird & Planned Parenthood.

I'm also thinking ending spending on Bush's two unfunded wars will also help.

As the economy improves so does revenues.

As the economy improves, we will have fewer people on unemployment, welfare & food stamps that had joined these programs due to the Bush recession.
