Rush Limbaugh takes out his frustrations with a big microphone and a big mouth. Someone needs to tell him to chill out.
But does that mean only one side is guilty?
What about Dan Rather lying about Bush and losing his job because of it?
Do you want only one side to be heard when they are as guilty of what you accuse Fox?
You were talking about when it started, try to stay on topic stupid.

Proud of President Obama, reelected with majority both times.

Barack Obama is flying to the Connecticut town devastated by America's second-deadliest school shooting to mourn with relatives of the 20 children and six adults who lost their lives.

The president will attend an interfaith vigil in the evening in Newtown, where he will also visit the families of those who lost children in Friday's massacre, carried out a 20-year-old local man, Adam Lanza. The gunman forced his way into Sandy Hook elementary school on Friday morning and opened fire on children and teachers before killing himself.

Obama has spoken of the need to "take meaningful action" to do something about America's dismal problem with mass shootings. The age of the victims – the children were all six or seven – has prompted a particularly furious outcry against gun ownership in a country in which support for the right to own weapons remains strong.

The Connecticut shooter apparently took his mother's guns.
Where do criminals and gang members get guns?
I'm only talking about Newtown.

As far as I know the guns were all legally owned by his mother, can we assume she was a "law abiding citizen"?

You're incapable of discussing such things in any meaningful way. In that particular post you were heading the way of Roe v. Wade and your nonsensical contention that pro-choice equals anti-life which is just a bunch of right-wing Christian propaganda, propaganda you wallow in daily.
I proposed several explanations. Callousness towards our own species and the unborn was just one of them.

Of course, we could just be reaping what we have sown not only because of this but the other explanations.

What do you think is causing such senseless violence among our young people?

A fiscally conservative party that avoids issues like religion, abortion, sexual preference, and marriage would do better. None of these issues belong in the political forum. Avoiding these issues would leave the Democrats with little to talk about.
Yup, the GOP was doing fine until the Christo-fascists and neocons took over the party during the Reagan years. Reagan wasn't even a neocon until he was finally drug into it around his second term.

She's trying to steer the discussion into one on the "sanctity of life". Evidently we lost all regard for human life after Roe v. Wade. Could also lead to prayer in school, and the rest of the Disco Institute's litany.

Would be great if "the unborn" once born, were not referred to as the 47% or the takers by Gov. Romney.

1) Liberalism creates a feedback loop. It is usually impossible for a non-liberal to change a liberal's mind about political issues because liberalism works like so: only liberals are credible sources of information. How do you know someone's liberal? He espouses liberal doctrine. So, no matter how plausible what you say may be, it will be ignored if you're not a liberal and if you are a liberal, of course, you probably agree with liberal views.
2) Liberals sources of information are ever present. Conservatives are regularly exposed to the liberal viewpoint whether they want to be or not. That's not necessarily so for liberals. Imagine the average day for liberals. They get up and read their local newspaper. It has a liberal viewpoint. They take their kids to school, where the teachers are liberal. Then they go to work, listen to NPR which has a liberal viewpoint on the way home, and then turn on the nightly news which also skews leftward. From there, they turn on TV and watch shows created by liberals that lean to the left, if they have any political viewpoint at all. Unless liberals actively seek out conservative viewpoints, which is unlikely, the only conservative arguments they're probably going to hear are going to be through the heavily distorted, poorly translated, deeply skeptical lens of other liberals.

try finding that sort of stuff on a liberal site. you know, like me using a conservative site to tell it like it is.

I truly hope that this tragedy will result in the reintroduction of the assault weapons ban; it will be a start. No one needs an assault weapon. We should all write to our congress person.

i mean really, who better to tell us about conservatives but conservatives?

The Republicans Have Failed the Nation

“Obsequious praise for small government does the Republicans no good when they too are in favor of big government in their actions.”

http://www.redstate.com/2012/12/13/the-republ...

but wait a minute....he's talking about Republicans like they're not conservatives. how can that be? does that mean all Democrats might not be liberals?

now if only the Dems had to worry about that.

having fun yet Republican and/or/maybe conservatives? i'm having a bit at your expense.

Bernie Goldberg, a former main stream media journalist, said the liberal media believes itself to be the norm. The second thing you said is more accurate than not. Many people who criticize Fox also admit to never having watched it or only watch for five minutes.
I used to watch MSNBC all the time. They used to discuss the issues and Scarborough used to be the conservative voice.
But then they started finding fault with everyone who doesn't agree with them.
Fox has regular democrat contributors all the time. Juan Williams sat in for O'Reilly numerous times. Geraldo Rivera, a democrat, and has his own show. Stossel, a libertarian, has his own show.
Kind of ironic they are the most versatile but yet the most criticized.

GOP divided between libertarians, evangelicals and moderates afraid to come out of the closet.
In the end the Bob Dole types may regain control of the party.
Feel Reagan would feel ashamed of this party
