Barack Hussein Obama II is the 44th and current President of the United States. He is the first African American to hold the office. Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was president of the Harvard Law Review.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii USA on August 4, 1961, he served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004, running unsuccessfully for the United States House of Representatives in 2000.

He began his presidential campaign in 2007, and in 2008, after a close primary campaign against Hillary Rodham Clinton, he won sufficient delegates in the Democratic party primaries to receive the presidential nomination. He then defeated Republican nominee John McCain in the general election, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Nine months later, Obama was named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

Obama was re-elected president in November 2012, defeating Republican nominee Mitt Romney. He is the first two-term Democrat POTUS since Franklin D. Roosevelt to win two presidential elections with a majority of the popular vote.

On February 17, 2009, Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, a $787,000,000,000 economic stimulus package aimed at helping the economy recover from the deepening worldwide recession, thereby continuing an economic aid policy first instituted under the preceding (Republican) President George W. Bush.

Domestic policy items include the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act AKA Obama Care, signed into law on March 23, 2010. In May 2012, he became the first sitting U.S. president to publicly support legalizing same-sex marriage. Sixteen years earlier, in 1996 as a candidate for the Illinois state senate, Obama had said that he was in favor of same.

Notable foreign policy items include the draw-down of troops in Afghanistan and the end of military operations in Iraq as of August 31, 2010. On March 16, 2011, he authorized the U.S. Military to engage in air strikes against Libya's governmental air defense capabilities in order to protect civilians and enforce a no-fly zone. On May 1, 2011, Obama authorized a "surgical raid" by United States Navy SEALs in Abbottabad, Pakistan, resulting in the death of international terrorist and al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and the seizure of papers, computer drives and disks from bin Laden's compound.

The true American Christian is not fooled by false prophets and can easily recognize prayer in a man's face. Their spirituality gives them wings to reach God. They can see real and Obama is anti-Christian. Obama's health care plan caused the Catholic Bishops to sue Obama after he forced abortions down their throats. Obama's Arab Spring opened the door for Christian persecutions in the Middle East. Obama's media portrays Assad as a devil, yet Assad protected the Christians. At least one priest was martyred as shown in this video. Thank Obama for his freedom. The priest was murdered by the US backed rebels and many Christians have been killed or have fled their homes all because the Amerikan Nero wants it.
Wrong, Obamacare doesn't force abortion on the Catholic bishops in any way unless you subscribe to their belief that a fertilized egg becomes a fully invested human being. This concept also known as "personhood" was put before voters in conservative Mississippi and was defeated. It also goes against the writings of Church Fathers like Augustine and Aquinas. When the church operates an entity in the commercial world like a hospital, college or university that serves and hires non Catholics and competes with non Catholic entities then they can't force their beliefs on those that don't adhere to their faith.
Obama won the Catholic vote despite the pronouncements of the bishops. Catholics by and large don't hold any allegiance to bishops who are assigned by the Vatican without any input from the people in the dioceses that they rule.
I notice that right wingers like you seem to ignore the fact that Christians in Iraq suffered forced dislocations and many were killed following our invasion of that country. If the Syrian Christians put their support behind the Assad regime which is killing its own people then they have no one to blame but themselves. It's all the more reason why religious groups should stay away from politics.

If you keep thinking with your butt you'll continue being treated like an azz.
Read it again moron. You stopped before you came to "Even if there is such a provision in the agreement, the most that can be required of you is to pay the union fees... agency fee".
This made my point that no one is REQUIRED to join a union, just pay their fair share of negotiating and enforcing a contract.

"Under the NLRA, you cannot be required to be a member of a union or pay it any monies as a condition of employment unless the collective bargaining agreement between your employer and your union contains a provision requiring all employees to either join the union or pay union fees. Even if there is such a provision in the agreement, the most that can be required of you is to pay the union fees (generally called an "agency fee.")"

Consider the situation where the legal fee to create a contract in a company of five employees is $1,000 and one of those employees chooses not to pay his share. Then instead of five workers paying $200 each, four must pay $250. That freeloading right-wing bloodsucker has effectively stolen $50 from the other four. I'd suggest that union members take whatever action necessary to protect their property from these thieves.

Unions are a scam and have out lived their usefullness.
1) Labor unions often harm the well-being of the worst-off by making entry into low-wage work more difficult, raising the bottom rung of the wage ladder above the marginal productivity of outsiders.

2) This provides the unions institutionally with a kind of control over access to labor market rents, which contributes to hierarchical power relations within unions that can be highly problematic.

3) Unions have often contributed to making their firms or their industries uncompetitive; they lack a built-in check that would keep them from killing the goose. This may be an even worse problem when they are faced with temporarily oligopolistic or monopolistic firms– the big traditional airlines, the Big Three automakers, traditional AT&T— which are themselves prone to become vulnerable overcommitted dinosaurs over time, and which are happy enough to lock in medium-term labor peace with contracts that put the firm one transformative competitor away from disaster.

4) Public sector unions have, under some conditions, a considerable ability to capture both sides of the bargaining table and seriously weaken public sector budget restraint.

5) Unions bureaucratize work relations in ways that can be both unpleasant and counterproductive for all concerned; they create rigidities and inflexibilities that can prevent cooperative improvements.

6) Labor unions form the organizational core of political parties and movements that seek to do more than bargain in the workplace; they’ve been a major force for social-democratic political economic organization. And the politics they shape is not especially prone to be liberal along cultural, social, or constitutional dimensions.

7) Unions– their leadership, their membership, their supporters– are capable of significant bullying that easily spills into immoral coercion against outsiders, nonmembers, and dissenters; the charge of “scab” is often an accusation of punishable treason against a cause that the accused never signed up for.
