How many voted for Jimmy Carter only to find out later they voted for a Momma's Boy scared of his own shadow and unsure of his authority? How many people today idolize Al Capone, Billy The Kid and Bonnie & Clyde? How many millions of Americans told Europe to go to Hell before WWII? How many millions of people actively voted to keep blacks down because they saw it as the right thing to do? You and the other kids here continue using voter numbers and poll results as though they were some sort of Gold Standard of righteousness and wisdom. Large groups of people do stupid things and not just individuals like you, lilly. Just as Evil travels, so too, does Stupidity. It visits us here today and I see that you are very proud to help host it's stay.

Obama’s Inauguration Closed To The Press? The White House Correspondents Association is strongly urging the Obama administration to allow press access to the president’s official swearing-in ceremony on Jan. 20, following indications from inauguration committee officials that the event could potentially be closed to the press. http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/obamas-inaug...

carol wrote: <quoted text> That 78% was because of his response to the hurricane. He did what any president would have done. "Of the $716 billion that the Affordable Care Act cuts from the program over the next ten years, the largest chunk—$415 billion—comes from slashing Medicare’s reimbursement rates to hospitals, nursing homes, and doctors. This significant reduction in fees is driving many doctors to stop accepting new Medicare patients, making it harder for seniors to gain access to needed care." http://www.forbes.com/sites/aroy/2012/08/20/h... "It is still unclear what effect these cuts will have on the program in the long run. And Romney accurately cited concerns that they may ultimately affect beneficiaries. "Several experts, including Medicare’s independent actuary, have warned that the planned cuts may force some providers to either close or to stop serving Medicare beneficiaries." http://articles.latimes.com/2012/oct/03/news/... Basically, you provided misleading information about the 78% and Romney's ads were more true than not. It wasn't Romney who accused Obama of killing someone's wife. Yes Carol, that 78% was exactly what I was referring to. He did what any competent president would unlike his predecessor who got a whopping 35% approval rating on his handling of Katrina. I never mentioned anything about Romney's claims on the $317 billion cuts from Medicare but either you have no reading comprehension skills or you're trying to divert from his blatant lie about cutting the work requirement for welfare by pointing to something he said that was only half true. The article you cite from Forbes actually comes from a Romney campaign advisor and you very carefully edited the article from the LA Times omitting this important statement; "Mitt Romney repeated a somewhat misleading claim that President Obama cut $716 billion out of the Medicare program for current beneficiaries. The president’s healthcare law does reduce future spending on Medicare, but those savings are obtained by reducing federal payments to insurance companies, hospitals and other providers, and do not affect benefits for people in the Medicare program. Hospitals and other providers agreed to these cuts in exchange for the Affordable Care Act’s plan to reduce the number of uninsured patients they currently care for." A large chunk of the cuts go to overpayments the government has been paying private insurance to administer Medicare Advantage plans which in reality don't offer much advantage and end up costing seniors more. www.washingtonpost.com/.../Romney 's-right-Obamacare-cuts-medica r... You're also ignoring the fact that the budget his running mate Paul Ryan proposed also cut $317 billion from Medicare but uses that money to protect tax cuts to the wealthy. It wasn't Obama that accused Romney of killing someone's wife it was one of the PACs which by law has no direct connection to the Obama campaign. he President made it clear during a press conference; "I don't think that Governor Romney is somehow responsible for the death of the woman that was portrayed in that ad," he said. "But keep it mind, this is an ad that I didn't approve, I did not produce, and as far as I can tell has barely run. I think it ran once." No Carol Romney's ads whether run by his campaign or PACs and multiple statements made on the stump were patently false.

By the way, Bush added the 10% rate to give a break to losers like you. You got that 10% cut on your first 17,700 of taxable income so I guess you are calling yourself a loser. Finally we agree on something.

EasyEed wrote: <quoted text> "real dumb" You come off dumber and dumber. B y your own admission some folks pay a higher rate than others. Thank you for the admission. Now tell me why someone anyone should pay a higher rate. Flat tax, no deductibles. Peace KMA Everyone pays the same rate. You said some pay more than others. As for your flat tax, why should some people have 100% of their income exposed to taxation while others do not. Explain how that is "fair". Who makes up fr the tax revenues currently paid by corporations? Do those outside the US pay this tax? If so, you just increased the cost of US goods, if not, why is it fair that foreigners get to pay less than we do? MG OMG OMG the poor must pay tax while you keep handing money to the wealthy. You just made the cost of that home $250K instead of $200k & took away the mortgage interest deduction. Yep, that will help.

carol wrote: <quoted text> I wouldn't call saving Florida's taxpayers $1.9 billion that would be required to implement a massive entitlement expansion under Obamacare is punishing them. Florida already has health care safety net programs for those with the greatest need, including assistance for families with incomes up to 133% of the poverty line, and Florida KidCare to ensure no child goes without health care in Florida. Things taxpayers don't mind paying for. Wonder why other states didn't follow Florida's example. Punish those who would have coverage but now will not. Punish those who want insurance but can't afford it. punish individual buyers & small businesses that would save money with the exchanges. All for political purpose. When will you right whiners ever put your country ahead of your pathetic politics. Denying your constituents health care for political purposes is about as pathetic as you can get.

You get about as much respect as g.h.b when he flew over louisiana. Your a coward! I'm willing to bet you play this roll on topix , but in public you kiss the asses of blackmen. I can't speak for your state & how far it has come from slavery, but in New Jersey thoughts like your will surely get your head knocked off. Whats done in the dark shall be revealed by the light. Stay on the computer. I'd hate to hear some young black dude brought you back to the future Mcfly!

shinningelectr0n wrote: <quoted text> There's no substantial difference between what I wrote and what you now write. Your Copy-n-Paste carries no weight here. Hit me with 500 more paragraphs but nothing changes. Throwing poop is not serious argument. You seem to be trying to emulate the Jerk-In-Chief. The boy Messiah has been a jerk from day one and still follows that path. Why should Obama budge on his demands? How can we expect Congress to break the 20 percent approval rating when we demand strategies and results which only come when the GOP has the Presidency, House and Senate – while we only control the House? Unlike most media narratives we all know the GOP is willing to compromise. Whether it was Sen. Snowe’s vote to allow Obamacare out of committee or the House voting to extend unemployment benefits, there is always the ability to deal. Yet Democrats refuse to budget. As mad as we may get, given the current circumstances, why should they? There are a number of reasons of GOP in-fighting. Here are a few anecdotal examples: We expend two to three times as much energy fighting each other and trying to redefine ourselves at critical moments in our nation’s history. While Pelosi reigns absolute for Democrats, Boehner is questioned by grass roots and a significant state of weakness – after retaining a 30 seat margin of victory. Any sort of strategy deemed as not sexy enough to energize the base into a frenzy is blasted as weak. The last example is perfect, I think, of something we should contemplate. http://www.redstate.com/paulseale/2012/12/09/... blame the Tea Party. who wants to bargain with a group when "sexy enough to energize the base into a frenzy" is the ongoing plan of the day.

From the "things we can say about white people cuz we have a black president" file... “I got a new movie coming out ‘Django Unchained’. And in the movie I got to wear chains. But don’t be worried about it because in the movie I get out of the chains. I get free. I save my wife and I kill all the white people in the room. How great is that?” http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/
