It might be better not to judge Zimmerman before he is tried. In you mind Zimmerman is guilty. After all Trayvon did beat his head into the pavement. Photos exist showing the bruising bleeding on the back of his head. If a jury convicts Zimmerman he should be sentenced just like anyone else.
Peace
I've actually visited Zimmerman's myspace site out of curiosity. He posted in mindless ebonics just like all young people today (even though he's not that young), with numerous pictures of black people present. There really is no chance of blowing it into a racial issue anymore (the media and leftist puscees have already tucked their tails in shame and hidden on that front). It will boil down to self-defense and what force was reasonable under the circumstances. The bimbo prosecutor showed her desperation by trying to hide the photographic evidence of his splayed nose and head split open. He will no doubt be aquitted, given their bungling and malfeasance in the case.

Bottom line; I dont think he deserved to die for being a thug, but its a cruel world and actions have inherent risks....

You are really ill-informed. He called the police from his cell phone while in his vehicle driving down the street. Its a tragedy, but there are no completely innocent parties here (and you will just have to accept that)....

You missed the boat here. That kid was bad news, and he messed with the wrong guy at the wrong time. He broke the guys nose and split open the back of his head on the sidewalk. Any reasonable person would have shot him.
Oh; and the black panthers are skinny, cracked-out puscees who can barely intimidate old ladies at the polling places....:-)
He should have stayed in his house after calling the police. Or stayed in his car.

He didn't even witness the boy doing anything wrong. He still stalked him with a gun and now the boy is dead.

Even if they didn't have past criminal records, the man was within his rights to shoot them.

Don't know all the details, but 2 young guys who break into an elderly man's home?? Ya think the old guy was scared??

No doubt, he did exactly what he should have done.

Hahahaha

" In 1887, nearly 10,000 teachers from across the country met in Chicago for the first-ever conference of the National Educator's Association, now one of the country's most powerful teachers' unions. The topic of "teacher's tenure" led the agenda. By the turn of the century, tenure had become a hot-button issue that some politicians preferred to avoid. In 1900, the Democratic Party of New York blasted their rivals in the Times for taking up the issue, writing, "We deprecate the tendency manifested by the Republican party of dragging the public school system of the State into politics.""

In your state, teacher tenure was passed in 1937, but the right of public employees to collective bargaining was not passed until 1970.

The boy is dead because he attacked a much smaller man armed with a gun, kicked the crap out of him, and the smaller man shot him in self-defense. There is NO law that says George Zimmerman had to stay in his car.

Sorry, but you are letting motherly emotion trump the legalities of the case. Your empathy is also probably misplaced, since Martin was no angel (and was the vastly physically superior of the two). Again its a shame he died, but its a dangerous world when you take chances. Would you be happier if George Zimmerman had died of a cerebral hemorrhage?

In the early days of AT&T, when operators were the symbol of the telephone system, they had similar 'paternal' rules.

One example; Group Chief Operators, apparently important in the era, were Management employees, and the understanding was they were 'married' to the Telephone Company, and were uniformly single women. Usually by the time they made it to Chief Operator status, they were not young, perhaps 40's or 50's.

But if they married, they found that their duties as Group Chief Operators were given to other, single ladies, and they either retired or took a staff job, at far lower status.

Chief Operators were so important that the Telco's would send out cable trucks to bring them to work in storms. Trucks almost as big as deuce and a half.

----------

The rights of women have come a long way.

So why does your side want to put them back to that terrible era??
